Lighting in the room and lobby not sufficient. Lobby did not have hot water and microwave that are typical amenities at Marriot properties. Decor of common lobby bathroom was very dark - dim lights could make seeing very challenging Room door was very hard to open and close.

The room was clean, the location was excellent, the staff was friendly. Only issue was the bathroom, there was no exhaust vent. After you showered you had to wait for the room to cool off and take the humidity with it, so you could see the mirror etc. Also, the toilet ran constantly. Not a big deal, but after every flush we had to manually lift the cover and jiggle the valve so the stopper would properly seal and the tank would fill. Good stay, great location.

Room was very dark. Do not believe the photos on the website. Staff gave me in two extra lights. Hotel is just basic. Not luxury as advertised. Would give it two stars but since the staff was nice I gave 3. Was in the biggest room, windows face inside the building, so you are seeing other windows.

I found the hotel to be dead, drab, no energy, boring, joy amor of people walking around in the hotel . It was like a morgue , and given French quarters energy was surprised. Seemed like all the fun and buzz was happening next door at the ritz
