The hotel was quintessentially New Orleans in its architectural style. The room was beautiful and clean. The common areas, including the bar, were comfortable, classic, and funky. The Blackbird is an amazing little hidden gem in NOLA! Alvin behind the desk was very helpful and made great drinks at the bar, as well. We did not get the opportunity to use the pool, but it was a beautiful space. The room was very clean and cute, and we were welcomed with a personal note and chocolates! It is definitely a great romantic and intimate place for couples to stay. The only slight issue we had was a slight price discrepancy between Hotels.com and what we ultimately ended up being charged for the stay. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Renovation

We had a wonderful stay. Keep in mind, it is NOLA and an old building, so the room is small, but very well done. Also, the pool is amazing. People are able to buy a day pass to the pool, so it was very busy one day (4th of July). Having the bar by the pool was great.

Probably one of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The staff sees to all the details of making your stay feel personal. Hand written note, box of chocolates on your bed, steamer in closet. I love the vibe. Pool was great, drinks delish and setting, perfect.
