It is so perfectly spaced we walk to the outlet we walk to the Riverwalk we could walk to the trolleys we walk to the aquarium we walk to the walking tours everything was between a 7:00 and 30 minute walk. The hotel is old you can tell it's old but it's beautiful. And the staff is amazing breakfast was delicious the pool was nice and cool. They have a tennis court / basketball court. They have a gym. They don't come and service your room everyday but if you call they will. The products they have in the bathroom and shower are really great my daughter has sensitive skin and it didn't make her break out. It's so good I recommended it to all my friends and my mom the next time they come to New orleans. It definitely helped our stay the room was so spacious and so clean. The view was immaculate. And the AC was acing

Housekeeping did not clean the room thoroughly; previous occupants left some items behind; the bathroom supplies were not replenished; the vents and ceiling fans were dusty. Check-in and Parking: You must go through the valet, hand them the keys, then go to the lobby to check in, since there is no place to park for that short moment. We felt safe, breakfast was great, and the staff were great.

The staff was nice, but the room smelled of smoke which made all of my clothes smell like smoke… I don’t smoke. The bed was also extra firm which made my back hurt. I did, however, like that they had liquid soap for handwashing in the room instead of the usual bar soap in many other hotels. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

We were in town for a Volleyball tournament, and oir stay was WONDERFUL! Everyone was so kind-- all staff! Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great-- many options of hot, cold and dry foods. Even fruits. Parking near by. Many dining options in walking distance. And just a 5-7 minute walk to Convention Center.

We booked the one bedroom with sleeper sofa. The beds and mattresses were horrible. Not enough covering for beds was supplied. Had to call to have a new shower head installed. The "breakfast buffet" that is advertised is nothing more than the instant continental breakfasts that are sullied at average hotels. Nothing extra. Parking arrangements are ridiculous. Site says free parking but parking is NOT free all the time. Only during certain hours. Hotel is a bit outdated and certainly not the quality that I have experienced at other Sonesta brands
