Nice big quiet rooms in restored building Room service prompt and good continental breakfast. Employees use courteous

I checked into your hotel Thursday Thanksgiving Day and checked out Sunday. For a room rate over 200 hundred dollars per night I expected better service. Your front desk am staff was rude and unprofessional because I was complaining about not having a remote to my Tv and then a Tv that completely didnt work. I was never offered a different room nor television. Just 3days with a non working Tv. No management camw to see me upon request and the GM was not available. I did not receive the promised request when I booked this reservation on line. The rooms have curtain panels missing from many of the rooms on different floors...it's noticeable when you look out the window at the other guest rooms. Wall paper peeling off the walls..mirrors missing paint. Terrible stay

Overall the hotel was nice and in good proximity to the New Orleans nightlife. I did think the room was kind of small and the TV was in an odd position with the bed. The bed was also uncomfortable but bearable. However my biggest issue was on our first night after starting the shower I walked out into the bathroom to get my bag. Upon returning to the bathroom and unbeknownst to me, th floor was completely wet, so much so water came out onto the carpet and I ended up slipping and falling. The curtain was closed, the shower head hadn't been touched and this was less than two minutes after turning on the water. My husband mentioned my fall and the to the front desk when he called for more towels but no one ever asked about me or the condition of the room.

We went for a bachelorette party and booked a hotel/flight combo for a great price. The rooms were a decent size as was the bathroom. The shower curtain was too short for the tub. So extra towels on the floor were a must, and staff is a little absent at night so requests of the front desk should be made before 9PM. The staff was very nice and we never had an issue with noise.

The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The location was great, because it was close to the French Quarter but not directly in it. The parking was a bit expensive, but that seemed to be the case throughout the city.

The hotel is beautiful and the room was clean and comfort. However, the package did not include much even though I considered that it was quite expensive. The valet parking was expensive and the location was not very clean. Especially we did not get what we paid for we ordered for a room with two king/queen beds, but we got the room with two full beds. We are trying to get a partial refund. I hope that thing will go well.

Hotel is in a great location! Super convenient to everything - the Quarter, the streetcars, Bourbon Street. Make sure that you take advantage of all of the history in New Orleans. Lots of walking, but so worth it and easy! The hotel is very centrally located for everything. The first night we had a room by the elevator, which was horrible, but management moved us to a different room, and it was PERFECT! Staff was great, and very accommodating. I would recommend, and stay there again myself!

Great hotel stay! Friendly staff and accommodations!

We've stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed it. We came back, so that tells you something, right there. The hotel is nice, comfortable and in a great location. The staff is friendly and professional. The adjacent restaurant doesn't seem to be open much...and the bar seemed to never be open when we went in. There's another bar just off the main lobby. This bar is small, understaffed and the bartenders are pretty disorganized. It can easily take 10 minutes to get a drink (which may actually be not what you ordered) if there's one person ordering a couple of drinks. The sitting area is very nicely appointed, casual and comfortable and is organized into nice social groups...but at night, expect to sit in front of someone else's uncleared plates & drinks for a good long while. We found that the 'Starbucks' in the lobby is not a Starbucks. There are Starbucks signs everywhere, Starbucks coffee, Starbucks cups etc...., but don't try to use your Starbucks cards here...it's not a Starbucks. That seems a little smarmy and deceitful, to me. The rooms are very comfortable (caution: every night there were one or two guests not being courteous of others, by using their 'outside' voices in the hallways at 2 or 3 in the morning. It was pretty loud. I tend to fall asleep pretty quickly again, so it was a minor annoyance for me, but it might not be for someone else.

We enjoyed everything about the stay. The only downsitde was getting into the hotel through construction, and it was pretty dark for accessing on foot.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the value for the room I received was great, and it was in the perfect location. My only complaint would be that parking is a bit expensive.

Clean room, nice staff. Super expensive parking tho... $43 per night!!

The Renaissance Pere Marquette is a beautiful luxe modern hotel. This was our second stay with them. The beds and pillows are superb, the food is delicious! I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. My only negative is the cost for parking per day. I feel hotel guests should have complimentary parking. $42.56 per day is a bit steep!

Having never been to New Orleans before, we know we picked a great hotel to stay at. The hotel was easy to find and right off the freeway. The staff were so helpful and enthusiastic in trying to make the stay comfortable. Although the Navigator was either not present or busy everytime we went to see them, the other staff was also very knowledgeable. The late check out was also great; we didn't have to wake up too early in the morning to check out. Our favorite part was the fact that the hotel was right outside of the French Quarters and the street led right onto Bourbon st. We would definitely stay here again for another visit.

Fantastic hotel and location. Clean room, great bar, very helpful staff for local attractions and all around a beautiful stay. Only bummer is you have to pay $38/night for parking.

I take a trip to New Orleans every year and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The R. Pere Marquette is an excellent value. I appreciated the detail, upscale design, and prime location. I was within walking distance of almost every attraction in the heart of New Orleans. I will say that they could use bigger closets. They also place the coffee maker in the closet which I've never seen before and found odd. Other than that, I also appreciated that the hotel has a restaurant, room service, a bar, and coffee station.

Very nice hotel with an awesome staff that seemed to emphasize customer service. Hotel is right down the street from famous Bourbon Street and is in walking distance of the casino and Riverwalk outlet. Only down side is that there is no free wifi and the pool area is very small. 4.5 / 5.0 stars easy!

My girlfriends and I booked a room at this hotel so we would be closer to the downtown area since we were attending some balls for Mardi Gras. I was pleased that they allowed me to check in early, but the room was not as requested. We asked for a double bed room, and I was told they were sold out of them and then my friend who also asked was told that we didn't request one. By the end of our stay we had received food and drink credits due to mishaps made by the staff. Great location tho!

Great location, close to Bourbon Street. Room clean and very roomy. Nicely made up by Housekeeping. Was in town for a wedding so was too busy to experience bar/restaurant/gym, etc. A microwave would have been nice. But had use of mini fridge and coffee maker.

Perfect locTion for business. Also close to French Quarter
