Great hotel itself, especially the room and breakfast. Very walkable but not the greatest location if wanting to do the French Quarter, Garden district or anything down by the river. Parking a bit limited too.

The staff was awesome! It's only a 20 min walk to bourbon street. There's alot of restaurants and art in the streets you can see during the walk. The hotel's breakfast was fancy and had alot of food options.

Breakfast was excellent. NBA stadium next door. City Bus available from the airport to a bus stop next to hotel. Walkable distance to french quarter and bus stops/street cars that take you to different parts like garden district, parks, cemeteries etc... You only need a rental car if you are visiting cities outside of new orleans

We loved our 5 day stay at the Hyatt House. The staff was terrific, from the front desk to the dining room to the housekeeping staff. The breakfast was great- lots of hot/cold options, good coffee, fresh fruit, lovely seating area. We used the laundry room twice and it was impeccably clean and convenient. Our room was so surprisingly large and included a kitchen and a living room area. Comfy bed and pillows, lovely bathroom and big shower. We walked everywhere ( French Quarter about a 30 minute walk away) and learned the street car. What a super stay!
