Renaissance New Orleans Arts Warehouse District Hotel

Loved it. I only wish they had a complimentary breakfast.

Excellent! Early Checkin provided. Easy checkout process

The Renaissance Hotel is close enough to walk to the French Quarter but not too close so you get a great uninterrupted night of sleep. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Check-in was a breeze and check-out was smooth as well. We've stayed here on previous trips to NOLA and will continue to book this hotel for future trips.

The hotel used to be graceful. Now it is trying to be trendy - namely the lobby and restaurant and it has lost its sophistication. The worst part is - I chose a full service hotel because I wanted room service - fresh hot pot of coffee in the morning on a tray with a coffee cup, saucer, spoon and breakfast if I chose. This was the vacation I could take this year and was really looking forward to the feeling of being in a FULL SERVICE hotel with the amenity "room service" which is listed on the website. Instead, I called down for room service, was told they only make coffee by the cup, and I ordered breakfast - it came in a paper cup, and a paper bag, plastic utensils - and the coffee was AWFUL. I was charged 5.00 for the delivery. It would have been cheaper to order out from an entirely different restaurant! When I called to tell them the coffee was watery and milky, and please send up a regular small coffee with a shot of espresso instead - they sent up a large charged me 10.00 including the delivery. So it costs 20.00 to get a decent cup of coffee. EXTREMELY disappointing. I would have stayed at the Intercontinental or Loews for SURE had I know this was the case. I was told the second night that room service wasn't available until 9am Christmas morning. So I got up, got completely dressed, packed and checked out - only to come down and see that the restaurant HAD been open since 7am. I COULD have ordered another 10.00 coffee

Waited over an hour for room! Went to desk at 5:20 to find out our room had been ready and they FORGOT to call us! Nice room, comfy bed, quiet!

Great stay, nice staff, room kinda small but very nice, valet parking expensive but convenient, nice and quiet place.

day one check in .....front desk says the restaurant in hotel open till 11 closed at 10ish day 2 called down for service and front desk says we are short today not sure if we can get to your room(they did) day 3 no service at all day 4 no service at all again called down for towels and she said they would take the old towels...he clearly didn't want to do it they way he touched them day 5 called down and asked for service and he tells me no problem they are here till 430 so i will call and remind them yeah we got a quick job ....floor was wet still and only a few towels day 6 still called cause we left the room at 1 and we got service with a few more towels day7 check out day a knock on the door at exactly 11 and a call not soon after telling me check out is 11 and she could give us till 12 with no charge i can't believe that this is a 4 star should be 2.5 tops

Nice hotel, clean rooms , friendly staff & walking distance to everything !

I had bad experience with vallet. They refused to come to the curb to service me at checkout.

Absolutely love the renaissance! This location was perfect as i attended for the essence festival. Walking distance to the convention center, super dome and the night life.

I got here around 5 and the hotel did not have my reservation. I told them what the rate was and that a friend was also staying here. The desk clerk graciously gave me the rate and checked me in. A couple of hours later I looked at my account on the Marriott site and found I had made a reservation at the Marriott Residence Inn a couple of blocks away. I went down to the front desk and explained what happened. The desk clerk called the Marriott Residence Inn and explained the error on my part. The Residence Inn agreed to waive any charges for the cancellation. All that out of the way, the location in the Warehouse District is much better than in the Quarter. There are great restraunts nearby. I like to jog and you are just a few blocks from the river. All in all, this is a great place to stay.

This is a lovely hotel a little off the beaten track -- so it's quieter but still a short walk to the quarter.

This is an excellent hotel! Great rooms, very clean, friendly staff and close to enough to the best in Nola - without being too close to the confusion. Also very well decorated and full of art!

Staff was attentive and polite, room was clean and comfortable. What I would expect for the price.

Very nice hotel in the Warehouse district in New Orleans. Great location, convenient to the convention center, casinos, and French Quarter. This area will only get better as the development continues, with great restaurants and bars. Hotel staff was very courteous and accommodating.

One of the finest hotels in the city. Great restaurants within walking distance every direction. Phenomenal staff

Very good location for getting around New Orleans. Arty decor and large beautifully appointed rooms made this a great place to spend a long weekend. The staff was attentive and friendly. Great value - we're definitely coming back.

Enjoyed a lovely long weekend stay at this hotel. The location was perfect; lots of great restaurants nearby in the up and coming warehouse district and easy walking distance to the quarter for even more options, but yet, a nice modern, clean and quiet place to sleep.
