We went for NYE and the location is great. Not right in all the noise, but easy enough to get to everywhere you want to go within minutes. Lots of shops, and food nearby. The hotel has unique charm as pictured. The rooms are small as noted but comfortable. It was fairly quiet from street noise, but the hotel itself was noisy...meaning the building noises were very loud. It is an older building so perhaps that explains it, but we did notice the building noise nightly. Security was fine and you needed a key to enter after hours.

Property location is great. Staff is very professional
The property is historic--built in 1722--and absolutely lovely. The pool was inviting. Staff was super-friendly! There was a mouse trap that surprised me under the bed (I thought it was a belt buckle and picked it up!) All in all, I enjoyed the stay tremendously and would return to this property again. :)
Nicely decorated and clean room. Friendly staff. Beautiful courtyard and located right in the French Quarter
The overall stay was very relaxing, however there were a few areas of improvement needed. The curtain in Room 316 could not be lifted, so natural light came into the room. The bathtub did not drain properly and there was standing water in the tub after showering. There was supposed to be approximately 50 television channels to choose from, but only about six were available.
Great location
Everything was wonderful, especially the courtyard!
The staff the room and location..was great
This property is in the perfect location. Right in the middle of everything we wanted to do while we were in NOLA. We will definitely be looking to stay at this property again in the future.
The best location to experience New Orleans! Such an old New Orleans/French feel when you first walk in, love that! So much history here at this hotel, conveniently located next to pubs, restaurants, and everything else. Friendly front desk staff and bell boy! So so nice and welcoming. Comfy beds. Highly recommend.
Fantastic service and quite romantic as well. Awesome staff.
Charming character. New Orleans vibe. Super friendly staff
Right in heart of French Quarter, beautiful room with original brick, quirky in layout! No fhost sightings for us! I woukd highly recommend!
I did not like the fact that the maid didn't clean the room as she stated that she did and signed off on it. The room carpet was filthy . The air conditioner was dusty.
PROS: Friendly staff, clean and quaint brick-walled rooms, plush comfortable beds and good water pressure in shower. Interior courtyard, coffee shop next door, convenient location near Jackson Square, walkable to many shops, restaurants and the waterfront. CONS: Rooms are small and doors slam heavily every time other guests down hall go in or out. Pool is tiny. No USB ports, few plugs, and wi fi can be spotty for streaming video or video conferencing. OVERALL: Perfect for shorter stays and being a tourist, not for business trips. Would stay again as location is great and price is excellent.
