We stayed here during Mardi Gras, and this was a perfect location because we could walk to several parades. The hotel staff were very friendly! The breakfast area has high chairs available (just ask a staff member for one), which was super helpful because I was traveling with my toddler.
Rooms are small.
They gave me a room and the toilet didn’t work. Tried to let staff know, didn’t come to fix toilet. Had to go to first floor.
Everyone was super nice . The room super clean . The food was so good. It was more than inspected thank you

The staff overall was friendly and accomodating. The room was a little underwealming as it lacked some essential toilitry items and towels. The hotel itself was goog and its in a good location.

great location, didn't know about the $50 a day deposit till I got there. Then took an extra $303 off my card without my authorization saying because it was a debt card..and overdrawn my account! I was never told this was going to happen or else I would of have more money on the card! Still Pending Today! very upset about this matter!
The service, front desk, housekeeping, breakfast service, and maintenance person all outstanding. We’ve stayed at many HGI places and this site’s service personnel is the best.
The customer service was excellent
At check in I asked if I can pay a fee to check out later and was approved by front desk. I asked three times and confirmed we could check out late. I was reassured I could pay the fee at check out time. I had to pay $34 for parking the parking lot was tiny and not enough spaces. Our bathroom shower had a leak and got water all over the floor. At 11:20a check out day front desk called and told us we did not have approval for late check out and needed to leave immediately. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager she said we have to leave and that her new trainee gave wrong information to me. I had to get dressed and pack. Management called again and threatened to charge 150$ extra if we didn’t leave in 15 minutes. I always stay at holiday in express in every state I travel to but I will not be returning to this location this manager is terrible, disorganized, and unprofessional.
Affordable stay near the French Quarter but is still a walk away. Good for those who can and want to walk back and forth as there are not that many good eating options nearby.
The lady that worked in the evening was as absolutely wonderful! She helped us so many times I could not even count. She was the BEST part of staying there. The breakfast was kinda so-so. There was stuff for toast (butter, jams and peanut butter) but no toast. No pancakes or waffles to put the stuff on. But was offered, makes no sense to me.
Nice Hotel, excellent location
Nice Hotel, nice location, helpful staff. We asked for Free Parking, it was not clear for the Hotel and it ended up charging two days of parking.
