The property was lovely and it had a little bakery connected. Our rooms were clean and nice. No issues other than late night noise, but we were 1/2 block from Bourbon and expected that.
nice
Friendly courteous staff and great location in the Quarter
The location of this property is convenient to excellent restaurants, unique shopping on Royal St. and walkable to the river front and the Convention Center. Close enough to Bourbon St. but far quiet inside the hotel. The room that we had was not cleaned between stays. Sheets were changed and towels replaced, but was not vacuumed as there was previous cups and napkins and a sock left on the floor. Also the coffee Kcups were not replaced daily. We informed the front desk and it was cleaned the next day. Also my roommates leggings were missing. She wore then on the plane to New Orleans. Told the front desk and we just got a shrug.
I liked the old style flair and also the restaurant.
Great location! Bourbon street is right there if that’s what you are looking for but in general location is great for getting anywhere in the quarter. Beds were very comfy and room had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again.
The architecture of the hotel and in the rooms is impressive. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the hotel room. The staff was helpful in answering all of our questions.
Good location
Place was great. Would definitely return.
Very nice 3-star in the French Quarter. Good value for the price I got mid-week.
Very convenient with the Bombay Club on the property!
The staff varied from very helpful at check-in to uncaring at checkout. We wanted to leave at 7am, before a predicted thunderstorm. I advised the front desk personally at 6am of our plan and desire to depart at 7 and was told no problem. When we arrived at 7, there was a different front desk person. We checked out and waited 20 minutes for our vehicle which was parked at another site. Also during the stay our room was not made up for one of the days due to “lack of staff”. The location is great, with a little bit of management support this could be a great place to stay.
This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If I could upload the pictures I would. Our room smelt like mildew/wet carpet. It was dark and grim. Deadbolt on the door that didn't work. Two different color and types of door knobs on the bathroom door. Dust and dirt on the stand in the bathroom. Nasty stains on the ceiling along with hair. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. The toilet was dirty and stained yellow. Shower head had white stains which I assume was either soap scum or much worst. Everything about this hotel was mortifying. I would never recommend anyone wasting their money staying here unless they are completely desperate. We did as much as we could to keep from having to be in our room. I'm home now and still feel grossed out.
I was not informed when I checked in that you had to request for the room to be cleaned.
Accessible, close to Bourbon street, cafe and restaurant inside. Clean and quite
I like the convenience of being centrally located but this time the bathroom in my room was very small. The last time i stayed i was at the end of the hall where room and bathroom were much bigger
The location is perfect. The toilet wasn't very clean.
The staff was amazing and really accommodating! The hotel was amazing and a perfect location!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel!
Neat and clean, but little old building. Staff was helpful and smiley.
This historical hotel is a great place to stay. The room was extremely clean and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommended.
