The hotel room needs cosmetic work, cracks in the bathtub, and paint chipped bathroom door. The bed box spring was stained, and the entire stay we did not have hot water because the hotel boiler had went out. This was our Christmas break. I would not recommend.

We stayed Thursday thru Sunday and didn’t have hot water. No hot water in the shower, the bathroom sink or the kitchen sink. Finally got hot water on our last night there. Plus our toilet wouldn’t fill up after we flushed so we had to keep the back lid off and so it ourselves. They said they couldn’t refund anything since we didn’t book directly thru them. Won’t ever stay there again!

The room was pretty good. It looked out onto the courtyard. The lights were always on there. The room didn't have any blackout curtains. On a good side, I liked having a suite with all the extras like a full-size fridge, stove, and microwave. But, the fridge was so noisy that we had to turn it off at night. The bed was comfy. A few hotels in the area offer breakfast, this one did, but to be honest, it was so dull that you'd rather skip it.

This hotel was wonderful for a family stay. It’s within walking distance to many bars, restaurants and public transit. You’re pretty much in the French Quarter, without being directly in the noisy streets. We did experience some of the water temperature issues that people talked about, but on our second day maintenance came by and we had hot water. Service is great and continental breakfast was very standard.

The staff was pleasant. The main thing was that there wasn't any HOT WATER!!!!!!!!! The water wasn't even warm and a cold shower was not good at all.
