While the rooms are very good sized the surroundings for the hotel are less than wonderful. The street car doesn't even run in front of the building right now. There is a lot of street construction going on and even pedestrian routes to the hotel are difficult to maneuver. The breakfast is subpar, though the selection is good it's often cold with biscuits being too hard to eat and dd I mention everything is cold. There are no restaurants within easy walking distance. The closest one is two blocks away in the Quarter. If the Cable Car was running this would be a great location. Without it, plan to walk.

The entire place is filthy. No housekeeping, Didn't have toilet paper, towels, etc for four days. Breakfast was burned and very little to choose from. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I thought the property itself was fine. The breakfast was meager at best. Hardly anything for kids. Usually there is at least cereal or waffles. Just bread, the hot options and yogurt.

I had a great experience. The building smelled fantastic with continuous air freshener.Room equipped with everything I needed, could have been cleaner. Staff was professional and courteous at all times. Convenient location, walking distance to everything.

As a Homewood Suite, one expects quality. Room 368 was filthy. The bathroom floor was dirty and only had 2 towels for a room for 6 persons. The couch in the living room was stained with food, especially arms of sofa. Walls had splatters all over. While we recognize the volume of people that go through this site, this was unacceptable and disappointing.

Nice property. Friendly Staff. Breakfast is good. Menu chages so go more than once lol. Played pool. Room was nice. King Suite. Couch bed noisy but is what it is. King comfy. Housekeeping could've done a better job in bathroom. Obvious things were missed but i usually wipe down. Hotel is in a grear location. Can easily walk to Bourbon St. Canal is a block away and trollu stop right in front of theater. Used the Le Pass app. Tickets are good for 2hrs or can buy day pass. Bus station is walkable as well. Truthfully no need for Tideshare.

Positives: 1) The facilities were excellent, the room was very clean. 2) Lobby, Breakfast area, Exercise facilities were very clean and maintained well. 3) Valet parking made checking in quick and allowed unloading right next to the entrance. Negatives: 1) The Duvet on the bed had what looked to be gum on it. We had to request another one and Housekeeping did not put it on the bed, just left it on a table. We had to pull the old Duvet and place the new one on the bed. 2) The Key Card would not work when we returned from an event. The Front Desk programmed replacements but they did not work. The Manager called Maintenance and he found the battery in the Key receiver was dead. Once he replaced it the lock worked fine. 3) While the information on the Hotel listed Complementary Breakfast it was very limited. Coffee, Toast, Bagels, Cereal, Folded egg, Sausage. They did have fresh fruit but little else. There was hot food on the buffet though.

The bathroom floor was not clean

Everything was excellent...thank you!

They're very strict with check in time, unless you want to pay extra $50. Even slightly more than 1hr, they won't let us check in, thus they said the room is ready. When we finally get our room, there was no shower gel, bottle of the lotion didn't work. The signal for the tv is really bad. We reported it to front office but their technician never show up. The following day, the cleaning staff entered our room while we put 'privacy please' tag on our door.. The only good thing abt this hotel is they have different menu for breakfast and the lady who works for valet parking was really a nice person. I wished I asked her name (I didn't see her again until we checked out)...she should be in front office with her cheerful personality. Their concierge also very nice, all of them.

There is no maid service for the rooms until you check out or request it, which is good--no interruptions. The automatic door to the swimming pool area was broken so no one could use the pool or patio. we called for help with this but no one came. The free breakfast was great! The place is quiet, clean, and the staff was friendly.

It was like home away from home everyone was helpful and friendly and made your feel welcome

Staying at this Hilton was a disappointment in comparison to all of the other Hiltons we have stayed at over the years. As a former Gold level member I expected better. When we checked in to our room there was no shower curtain. When I asked about this I was told that it wasn't needed but we could have one if we wanted. After one shower and the resulting mess we asked for one. In addition the shower and bathroom area had mold present. After the first night I noticed a rather large blood stain on the blanket. When I asked for that to be replaced I was told that I could have linens sent to my room and I could remake the bed or I could request to have the room cleaned. They couldn't send someone to just replace and remake the bed so I requested a room cleaning, This never happened for the rest of our stay. After a very enjoyable city tour we told the concierge how much we enjoyed the tour and he became very defensive wanting to know why we didn't book the trip with him and what did that tour offer that his tour didn't? His snarky attitude towards us continued throughout our stay. The hallways were in need of vacuuming which didn't occur throughout our stay. The "hot" breakfast was not hot as everything was lukewarm and on one day they ran out of almost everything before the end of the allotted meal time. This hotel offers a very convenient location near the French Quarter but, that is the only upside to our stay at this facility.

Toilet was not secured to floor, rocked when sat to use. Housekeeping did not come around. Ran out of Toilet Paper on our last day.

The convenience of the breakfast with a very nice selection was awesome; the front desks staff and concierge guys were wonderful and helpful. The first room that gave us (446) should be placed out of service due to the stopped up bathroom sink and they leave a sharp piece of metal plate in the shower for whatever reasons. This particular day i guess they ran out of big bath towels so the one that was left was dirty and smelled of spoiled milk. We left and came back late night to find we still had no linen and room not clean. Our last day when we checked out we had no accessibility to the lobby bathroom because they had a "OUT OF ORDER" sign on the door all day long to only find out it was only one stall that was stopped up.

The staff is great!

Located in French Quarter, everything walking distance, nice hotel. Only didn't have a place to park our car, had to use valet option, which was pricey.

Kevin, it is unfortunate to hear about your recent experience in our vicinity, especially regarding the construction and lack of immediate restaurant options. We aim to provide a serene environment, so disruptions like these can indeed be disconcerting. The breakfast experience you described does not meet our usual high standards, and we'll certainly look into improving warmth and quality. Despite the absence of the streetcar, we hope you managed to navigate New Orleans and enjoy the charm the city has to offer.
