We did not get the room that we booked. Moved to another room and told we were going to get a discount but instead was just charged for the normal room charge for the lesser room. Not clean! Carpet was buckling , looked like it was just cut and laid down. Desk had a broken leg. Bathroom looked like it had blood behind the door that happened been clean. The box spring was torn and and the wood was exposed. The only good thing about the hotel was the staff. I will definitely not stay at this place again. I love Hilton but this hotel was not to the standards that I know Hilton represents.

Perfect location 2 blocks to the French Quarter and Canal St! We walked to everything. Our suite was nice, clean and quiet with comfy king bed and full kitchen (minimal silverware or utensils, so bring your own if you plan to cook). Excellent full hot breakfast buffet plus free Wed night social with wine, beer and appetizers. Very helpful staff and concierge. Valet parking was expensive but it was worth it to come and go easily. The area is a little dicey at night with many homeless and odd people hanging out on Rampart St, but plenty of traffic driving by and no one bothered us. Be very careful to keep valuables secured, not visible, and don’t wear hanging purses.

When taking showers, the water was luke warm. The shades were old and broken, you could not shut them. The beds were twin beds, the sheets barely fit the mattress. Comforters were old. Very disappointed in this Hilton property. Maid service was excellent. Just felt like the room needs a major revamp.

This hotel was good especially for the price. The staff was exceptional from the door staff to the front desk I was very pleased. My only concern because it was an older hotel was the hot water issue which most of us experienced the showers and the sinks took forever to get hot if they got hot in that moment, but overall it’s close to everything. The breakfast buffet even had great options. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was clean, well equipped and the bed was comfy. All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold food.
