Staff was great. Bathroom and main room need better lighting.

Very convenient walking distance to everything. Food very pricey e.g. a morning pastry, $8!

It was a small room, so I felt the price was really high for such a small room

It a great hotel so central to all the amazing sites of New Orleans.

Close to the New Orleans action without being part of the action 😀 Nice, relaxing hotel with decent amenties (very small pool area for those who care... warning). Only gripe: walls are paper thin. I could literally hear conversations in the rooms on eirher side of me. Not good...

Good location.dont understand why bathroom towels are not changed

Very nice place and well situated. Bathroom was very tight - and it was awkward to walk in and close the door. Floor mat needed to be picked up to open the door.

Great great great great great great great great great

Decent room. Nice ambiance. Got stuck in an elevator that broke after hours, my husband had to literally pry the doors open. Told the front desk, they didn’t seem to care. Had to get a late checkout, that went smoothly. Front desk was extremely helpful and understanding. Noticed I was charged for in room mini bar items that I did not purchase. I will call in the morning to dispute when a manager is available. No refrigerator in room, only a “cooler” that doesn’t really keep drinks cold. Happy hour at the bar was okay. Ice machine on our floor didn’t work. But staff was always very helpful from enter to exit.

Had a nice pool to cool off in but a little small. Great hotel staff, breakfast was good. Location is 10 minute walk to Bourbon St. and directly across from casino. Rooms were clean and had a couch in them

This was my first time there and stayed for .two nights. Great location!

The hotel was nice and clean... There was sewer gas venting back into the bathroom ventilation system. The staff was aware of the issue and still renting the rooms. House keeping went through luggage while we were out. No top sheet on bed. Hotel pool was always packed. Wifi was pricey. Poor cell service in rooms. Will not stay at this property again.

This is an over priced three star hotel. Parking is $45 a day and in room service is poor.

Le Meridien is conveniently located close to the Hilton conference center and from the website it looked a little more modern and cool than the Hilton so I decided to stay there. The first room we checked into had a significant foul odor coming from the bathroom (like a backed up sewer pipe) so we requested to be moved. The staff was happy to assist with re-locating us to a different room. What was disappointing was that the next room had clearly been raided by someone so the mini-bar was practically empty and there was no robe in the room. Despite having alerted 3 different staff members to this, I still ended up with a mini-bar charge on my account. While staff fixed this when we checked out, it felt disappointing. In addition, they were having an issue with their keycard system. In order to get to your room, your have to swipe a valid key card in the elevator. Every day of our stay our cards did not work and we had to venture to the front desk to get replacements. This became a standing joke between us and other guests at the hotel that were having the same issue. The combination of these two issues leaves me less than enthusiastic about this hotel. Finally, there is a deserted feeling to the lower level as the restaurant was never open. Having been to NOLA before, there are better places to stay.

1. There is no self-parking on-site and the hotel valet service costs $50.85/24 hours (incl tax). What they do not tell you is the parking garage where the valet parks your car is located only one block away at 601 Tchoupitoulas AND if you park yourself at this public garage, the charge is only $30/24 hours (incl tax). Thus, unless you plan to come and go frequently, it is much less expensive and quite convenient to park your own car. 2. Both beds in our room had squishy overused mattresses. This defect was on left and right sides of each one. 3. Housekeeping places the clean towels on the rack under the sink. There were obvious drips from both faucets which were ignored by housekeeping and hence moisture on the towels until we figured this out. This problem was not a new one since there were water spots on the towel rack. We left a note and also reported it, but beware. 4. There was a filthy couch placed against the window. It was much too big for a room with two beds, and it made it difficult to look down at the view without climbing up on the couch.

Due to the location of the hotel my stay was so-so, only because it was across the street from the casino and within walking distance to Burbon St. Service was barely average. None of the fire pits worked outside as it was a very chilly evening. Some of the staff we're not accommodating (check-in staff were great). The bar locked themselves out of the registers, so only exact cash could be used to purchase a drink (no celebratory birthday drink for me). I could hear my neighbors talking while walking in the hallway and while in my room. Not something I was interested in. I called down for valet as i was instructed to do, and was told to call back in 30 mins. We went down to valet and it took an additional 20 mins to get our vehicle. I would possibly stay again only because of location, not so much as service.

The hotel and staff were great. We are planning to go back to New Orleans in May and I will book this hotel again.

This hotel was great. The staff was analyzing. I will definitely come back.
