Le Méridien New Orleans

1. There is no self-parking on-site and the hotel valet service costs $50.85/24 hours (incl tax). What they do not tell you is the parking garage where the valet parks your car is located only one block away at 601 Tchoupitoulas AND if you park yourself at this public garage, the charge is only $30/24 hours (incl tax). Thus, unless you plan to come and go frequently, it is much less expensive and quite convenient to park your own car. 2. Both beds in our room had squishy overused mattresses. This defect was on left and right sides of each one. 3. Housekeeping places the clean towels on the rack under the sink. There were obvious drips from both faucets which were ignored by housekeeping and hence moisture on the towels until we figured this out. This problem was not a new one since there were water spots on the towel rack. We left a note and also reported it, but beware. 4. There was a filthy couch placed against the window. It was much too big for a room with two beds, and it made it difficult to look down at the view without climbing up on the couch.

Due to the location of the hotel my stay was so-so, only because it was across the street from the casino and within walking distance to Burbon St. Service was barely average. None of the fire pits worked outside as it was a very chilly evening. Some of the staff we're not accommodating (check-in staff were great). The bar locked themselves out of the registers, so only exact cash could be used to purchase a drink (no celebratory birthday drink for me). I could hear my neighbors talking while walking in the hallway and while in my room. Not something I was interested in. I called down for valet as i was instructed to do, and was told to call back in 30 mins. We went down to valet and it took an additional 20 mins to get our vehicle. I would possibly stay again only because of location, not so much as service.

The hotel and staff were great. We are planning to go back to New Orleans in May and I will book this hotel again.

This hotel was great. The staff was analyzing. I will definitely come back.

Wonderful, nice view from the room I stay at. Very clean.

This hotel had all the basics I hope for plus a few nice surprises: clean & quiet room, comfortable bed, free working wifi and small fridge for storing personal items. There's even some outdoor space at the rooftop pool and seating a fire pits outside. Within reasonable walking distance of the French Quarter and Riverfront and felt safe to do so.

The hotel is very nice and modern. We really liked it and it is close to everything: casino, outlets, mall, French Quarter, etc. Our only complain are the pillows other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very friendly. Hotel is very nice and walking distance to anything you want to do in the city.

Hotel was very nice for the price. I would stay here again. Good location. Our room was right by the elevator so it was load and woke us numerous time throughout the night.

This hotel was exceptional. The staff was amazing. The door entrance of the double queen room is a little weird . It hits the bathroom door because it's slanted entrance.

Nice place would use it again. Very good staff. Help with every need.

Incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. Good central location to explore a great city.

Nice hotel, cool bar downstairs. Close to many points of interest and restaurants.

Spent just a few hours asleep but overall very nice hotel with great closeness to the casino

Excellent staff, delicious restaurants, clean and comfortable room!

Really enjoyed our stay...very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small but the beds provided a good night's sleep.

Easy check in and check out. The staff were all very nice. One particular was the gentleman from the Conceirge who told and recommended us to one of the best Jazz clubs/musicians in New Orleans and he was right. Me and my husband went there to celebrate our 10 years of marriage and we enjoyed it very much. Everything ww did was great. We would surely come back to New Orleans and of course stay at Le Meridien again!

This was my second stay at Le Meridian. Enjoyed this stay more than my first. I was welcomed by the new front end manager who was very helpful. Lawrence the concierge remembered me from my earlier visit and welcomed me back. I was checked in quickly and efficiently. During my five-day stay the staff made me feel very welcome and always greeted me with a smile and a hello. The facility is clean and well appointed. It is also within walking distance of most places in the French Quarter, Central Business District and the Warehouse District. Loved it and will be back!

Everything was nice and will definitely stay again!

Very professional staff! Kevin was very helpful as recommending several restaurants and sites to see. All the staff were friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in New Orleans.
