This hotel was cute and in a nice location. But they charge for securit deposit $350 and never give it back. I try calling the hotel and they told me I was wrong and to contact the manager which she never picked up or even call back after numerous voicemails. Never again.

Every time I visit New Orleans, I end up back at the Maison Dupuy...it just feels like home! :)

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! yes looks very good from the outside. But staying here was an entirely different matter. This hotel has obviously been a victim of the pandemic. The management is awful, the room was run down, the maid showed up only occasionally. We originally booked four nights. A short time later we decided to add three more nights for a one week total stay. The hotel would not extend our original reservation, and forced us to make two separate back-to-back reservations. I Sometime later my wife spoke to a desk clerk who, when he noticed the back-to-back reservations volunteered to combine them into one reservation so that we wouldn’t have to change rooms which was appreciated. Unfortunate this must’ve been too much for the computer because after we had been in our room for four days, it locked us out. I went to the front desk to report that our card no longer worked and the desk clerk, instead of looking to find out why, simply reactivated the cards. At about 9 o’clock that night we were awakened to someone opening our door with a card key. The latch was set on the door so it wouldn’t open and when we asked who was there, the person apologized and left. Later we learned that the room clerk had assigned our room to a new guest because the computer still showed us having left. At the time we booked the rum, the website showed a full service restaurant and bar at the site. When we arrived we were informed that the restaurant have been closed since the begi

Great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Traveled alone, felt very safe. Hotel is older so there is noticeable wear & tear. Overall the hotel was very clean.

loved the property hated the city - wallet stolen, bum spit in my face.

bathroom had an old leak issue that was never addressed. leaked in bathtub while you took a shower. Ceiling tile was almost falling from the ceiling. Night desk clerk was rude and did not help customers. Cleaning staff yelled down the halls to each other early in the morning. Morning Desk clerk was by herself and had to handle too many things. She did what she could with all the customer complaints.

Looking at the pictures were very deceptive, the rooms were smaller than I thought ice machine was a distance from my room only one on the floor, my room was 211 and machine near room 268. For the price it was ok

Stayed for Mardi Gras and everything was excellent

Perfect location in the french quarters.

I didn’t like anything at all. As a matter of fact I was only able to stay there two nights and spent more money in order for me to spend the rest of my trip at a Hilton hotel. The rooms are outdated. I was put in a room where the television didn’t even work. When I saw the maintenance person in my hallway going to another room to also fix their television I asked them if they can fix my next. He told me I should call downstairs and schedule it. I went back into my room and realized my room didn’t even have a phone. The entire trip started off bad first of all a person at the front desk had a major attitude. He seemed extremely bothered at the fact that we arrived when he was trying to eat his food. Came out of the back office with food in his mouth. He started by telling me that I only booked one room and not three. When I asked him as a clarifying question if masks were required, his response where they are but since I was eating I didn’t feel like wearing one. Then the situation got even more unpleasant as he informed myself and my two other friends that we were going to be required to wear wristbands while we stay there and would have to show our wristbands every single time we come in. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue for me as I am an experienced traveler and at places like all inclusive resorts that is a normal. I’ve never had to prove I’m a guest at a hotel when I have a room key that allows me to access my room and should be sufficient.

Upon arrival we were so excited and couldn't wait to get out and about, we dropped our stuff and left.git back super late and went to bed. The next morning we couldn't make the TV wotk so they moved our room. That worked and was fin. We moved rooms the TV worked and we went out and about. That night when we got bat the heat was stuck on at 80. We couldnt sleep. In the morning i tried to call the frount desk and the phone didnt work. 7 hours later the did come fix the heat issue but then we were stuck on 60 and freezing. The refrigerator was missing so we couldn't buy any perishable. I probably wont stay with this property again. The staff was great.

Great place to stay, close to everything!

I wanted to enjoy my stay more, but the issues with my hotel room made it very difficult. The hotel itself was clean and nice. The location is great. My room's amenities were sorely lacking. There weren't enough pillows on our bed. Our room's phone didn't work. There was a tile in the drop-ceiling that was open above the shower and almost no water pressure. The thermostat was not working and our room was stuck at 60 degrees for a full day. The hotel wifi was out for half of our stay. Any one of these things would've been tolerable, but it seemed every amenity had issues. At least the room seemed clean.

A beautiful, classic structure. Easily accessible. We did lose heat one night during our Jan stay, but the front desk relocated us to a new room w/in the hour. Phone service to the desk was down most of our stay, and the elevators ceased working for a short period time, but come on, that is part of the exp. It was in New Orleans and the French Quarter. The ambiance was worth it all. The hotel was nicely appointed. The staff was gracious, polite, and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay with the Maison Dupuy again. …. Oh… and the proximity to Bourbon Street and beyond… wonderful!

The infrastructure of the hotel *is* on the old side, but it's in the French Quarter for crying out loud: part of the charm of New Orleans is its noble rot. The staff are very helpful, and the location is excellent, a short walk from Bourbon street, but enough space that the atmosphere around the hotel isn't raucous. No refrigerator or microwave in the room (again, old infrastructure), but that was only a minor inconvenience for me.

Great location. Quiet. Valet parking staff exceeded expectations. Rooms need carpet cleaning. We got the Deluxe View room, the window was probably 2 feet wide. Ridiculous. Bathroom was too small for what one is used to expect from hotel bathrooms.

It was close to everything but the night staff was horrible elevator's didn't work had to walk up to the 3 floor no vending machine in hotel no nothing room was not cleaned properly food left in refrigerator masks on the floor
