DO NOT STAY HERE!! I am being generous with the one star. The only thing good about this hotel is the location and the beautiful courtyard. Staff are useless and rude. This hotel was dirty and a waste of money. Will never stay at at Marriott location again because of the horrible experience we had.

The staff was nice but the hotel is awful. I payed through Expedia and they charged my card for my stay after I checked out so I basically payed for my room TWICE!! They have given me the run around promising me a refund and telling me I would receive and email stating I was getting a refund and it still hasn’t gotten that email. I’ve spoken to the hotel plenty of times and emailed with them and still no refund. I’ve had to dispute the charge with the bank. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! They will steal your money! Every time I’ve called they’ve given me an excuse as to why I haven’t gotten my refund or refund email yet. I expected more from a Marriott hotel. Extremely disappointed

The pictures used that represented the room when reserving was much bigger with more seating. The room had a table and one chair for 2 people while the bathroom had NO space to put anything. Staff who received us was in no way friendly and did not give us any info regarding the wifi. This property also lacked no communication either when emailing for more information. Nice, clean space but it would have made a difference having more friendly people at the front desk.

I had a great stay at Hotel de la Poste – French Quarter, A Renaissance Hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the room was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The garden area was beautiful and inviting, a perfect spot to relax. The bar and restaurant on-site were a nice bonus, and the location was awesome — close to so many great shopping, eating, and drinking options. My only small suggestion would be to add a designated smoking area a bit away from the main entrance. It wasn’t pleasant having to walk through smoke from guests gathered right outside the doors. Overall, a lovely stay with great service, atmosphere, and location — I’d definitely recommend for those who wish to explore NOLa
