desk was very helpful in suggesting places to go with my autistic son.
Well, they cleaned our room 1 time over a 4-day stay. Despite multiple requests / calls to get room service up. When speaking with the front desk, the guy at the front desk was very condescending & rude. Drug deals on Canal St, 1 door down from the entrance of the hotel.
For the love of god you need to make a new playlist for the lobby. Feel like funkin it up is a great song but hearing it every time I walked through the lobby was maddening. I don’t know how the staff haven’t gone completely crazy.
To start, the room did not have a refrigerator. The concierge refused to give us a roll away bed!!! Had to buy an air mattress!! One day the maid did not clean because “some of them don’t speak English”-front desk. Outside of the property was nothing but homeless and groups of people hanging out. Also took multiple phone calls to get extra towels and blankets. WHAT A JOKE.
Horrible and degrading. Arrived to a backed toilet. Immediately called the feint desk (of which no one answered the phone) and was told someone would be up to fix (as the smell was horrible!) So we left to get dinner and walk the French Quarter. We returned 4 hours later to the same mess. No one was at the desk to answer the phone. We had to go downstairs and find help. Everyone was in the back office having a “good ol time…” In short; we were treated like it was our fault we didn’t ask for a new room. In reality; we were trying to be calm and patient. I could go on; but it just feels so degrading how we were treated.
There was a mouse in my room! They mentioned they would give me a partial refund and haven’t heard back. Horrible.
Did not like the fact that we had to call everyday because our room smelled like GARBAGE. They sprayed air freshener three times and nothing worked so I went out and purchased extra strength industrial freshener and that help a little. The restuarant was closed the entire time we were there and so was the bar. No room service was offered. The pool was tiny and not heated. I complained about all of this to the front desk and they acted as if the could care less. This should be rated as a one star property, we will never go there gain. Thanks for listening.
Hotel room was clean, but in hallways it smells really bad, you can smell mariijuana in non smoking areas in hotel. Staff was not very nice. Pool is really dirty and disgusting. I am not sure how this hotel is rated this good. I wouldn’t stay here again.
Honestly everybody there was awesome and the rooms could use some bath renovation but on this trip they had some young kid working at the valet. The main guy was good but I walked up to the kid working went to hand him my keys and he was like were sold out and I was like what? He said you can try to park it down the street and I was like is this valet and he’s like what are you trying to do. I was like your at the valet stand and I’m handing you keys, what the hell do you think I’m trying to do. When I got my car back the next morning the seat panel on the side was broke off and door scratched. This is a brand new BMW and it just rubbed me the wrong way. We have stayed at this hotel a good 50 times. When we come to town for cruises and games and just to come to New Orleans we always stay here and everybody is awesome and service is great. I just think to be a hotel of this caliber get that kid out of there. He is the first person most people will see when they arrive and he was high as hell and slurring his speech and trying to get us to go park our own car off property and kind of pissed me off from the beginning. Other than him everyone was great.
It’s really nice location an made my 3 night stay rememlerablee
No fridge and microwave
Friendly staff and clean room
Property was at a good location. However we were 4 in a suite and were consistently given towels for 3.
Close to French quarter
This hotel is more like 2 1-2 star. The towels, bed linens were stained. We repeatedly asked for them to be replaced and the ones they brought us had stains as well. We saw a mouse running across the hallway on our floor that slipped under one of the suit doors. The carpets were dirty and heavily stained as well. Avoid staying at this hotel. Not worth the money!!!
