We opted for a petit room- I was traveling with my mother and we shared the bed. The room was clean and everything worked. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The morning coffee service was nice and the coffee was good! Our room didn’t have any place for 2 people to sit and it overlooked a parking garage. There was a roof top area across the hall from our room, which I would have loved to use but it was unfinished and a bit sketchy looking. Im not sure it was meant for the public, but the door was open. It looked like people went out there to smoke. It would have been nice if they finished that off so it was a nice public balcony for guests. Overall the room was clean and the staff was very friendly. Also, we went in the middle of June and didn’t see a single bug or roach our entire stay :).

Very stylish place. Really close to Bourbon. Amazing price

The staff was great! Give them a raise! I will be back in 2 weeks

Only good thing about this hotel was the belleman Eric. The hotel smelled of mold. There were leaks from the ceiling. Buckets in the hallway. Tv didn’t work in 2 rooms that we were in. Had to be moved 3 times. Every person at the desk was unaware of our situation and had to explain the tv not working to each staff member. Location was great other than that we will not be staying at this hotel again. We’re supposed to get compensated in some shape or form for the inconvenience we’ll see if that even happens. My 3rd time in New Orleans. Never had an issue anywhere else. Do not recommend the stay here.

Very cool looking place and loved the shared patio!

The staff was fantastic! The rooms were clean and very comfortable to stay in.

I like the overall look and feel of the room, very clean and cozy. Very french quarter too. However rooms need to be more sound proof. I could hear people walking in their room, going up and down the stairs, and definitely housekeeping cleaning other rooms.

Was a lovely creole townhome that was redone into a hotel. The courtyard was nice to just relax in away from the noise outside during mardi gras.

The hotel was shown in Vampire diaries if you watch it, was shot in the courtyard. The rooms were very very small, small like that of a cruise ship. The front service was hit or miss. The lady that checked us in and Robert and Eric were very helpful. Eric helped w bags which got him a tip. No elevator and 4 floors so carry bags up. They all asked our plans and gave ideas based on what we wanted to do. Have all kinds of brochures and a custom map w local restaurants there plus recommendations on their take of best oysters, drinks or other seafood. Most friendly hotel ive ever stayed at.

The balcony was great and room was great. Every one was very friendly. It was a short walk to shopping and great food.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They greeted you daily. The hotel was quaint and quirky. Cute Courtyard. Loved staying here for the New Orleans French Quarters experience. Our room was very small but the bed was nice and comfortable.

Front desk staff was wonderful! Everyone was vet y nice and very helpful! The room (balcony, king bed room) was very roomy, decorated well and exactly the vibe we were looking for when staying in NOLA. This hotel was centrally locates, close enough for walking anywhere we wanted to go, but far enough away from the chaos of Bourbon St. My only concerns were the rug and one of the chaise lounges had stains on them. Also, since the building is so old (despite being restored) the windows didn’t do much for outside sound control. The crow in the tree across the street, people walking by talking, cars driving by etc ALL woke me up in the middle of the night or early morning as if those things were happening inches from my head. So if you aren’t used to the city noise or would like to get a really peaceful night sleep, get a room at the back of the hotel away from the street. Otherwise everything here was pretty great.

Great place with a great location! There are a lot of stairs to climb but it was a really cute hotel in all and it was very clean.

Great location, wonderful staff, but uncomfortable/ loud old beds and extremely loud floors, walkways and courtyard. The building isn't insulated so people talking, walking and screaming in the courtyard sound like they're in your room. Over all, loved the historical building.

Great location. Noisy in the mornings with the trash trucks and street sweepers, but it didn’t last long. Staff was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel and the local area.

If u can’t do steps stay away. Nice unique room 3 flights up. A/C had to work hard to try and keep the room cool. Coffee bar in lobby but again 40 steps down and back up.Staffwas awesome and friendly. Good location. Quaint.

Great old historic place to stay in! The hotel staff was pleasant and allowed us to keep our bags for the day there after we checked out. Had a room with a balcony upon request; staff was very accommodating! Would go back there again!

If you want a true French Quarter experence this is the perfect hotel. Get a balcony room.
