Charming older hotel that's been refurbished. Wonderful staff. Great location. There were two downsides: the heating in our room wasn't adequate to keep our room warm. And, although the hotel has elevators, you will have to haul your luggage up a few stairs to get into the hotel and to your room.

About 15min walk from bourbon which wasnt bad. Our room waant cleaned the whole stay one day housekeeping came said she would return and never did. Rooma are spacious good shower but the way its built water travels to the floor, has low step. Beds are comfortable. We stayed on 1st floor you can hear doors slamming all night and day. Not my first choice but probably would stay and maybe be on 2nd or 3rd. Not sure have elevator. Staff was ok.

We had a lovely stay with our two children. We had a first-floor corner room, a suite, but I wish we'd known that the living room didn't have a couch (it was two big antique chairs) and they didn't have any rollaway beds. Otherwise, it was a quaint and friendly hotel two blocks from the live music on Frenchmen Street.

This was a last minute booking for us, we booked 2 rooms, and to my happy surprise they were adjoining. This made it very convenient for us. This hotel was so cute! I wanted a place that had character and an authentic New Orleans vibe, and that’s exactly what this hotel delivered. I adored having the balcony. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The front desk staff were very kind and friendly. I would stay here again!

The thermostat was impossible to control. It was either really hot or freezing cold. The blanket on the bed is just a very thin quilt which makes for impossible sleeping at night. So much so that we left a day early! The room is a very plain and basic room and did not feel very clean.
