We loved the location, the cafe by the pool, and the bar. These classic properties are getting harder to find

When we checked in they assigned Room 415. This room was so filthy. It was probably the oldest room the hotel had! The sheet and bedding we dirty and dingy. The rug on the floor looked like it had never been shampooed. They said the room was assigned because it was booked thru Orbitz! Of course I complained. The gave us another room. This was a very bad impression to start our trip!

Walk-in closet. Old, interesting architecture. In French Quarter, but not close to noisy, dirty Bourbon st.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. Surprising find with excellent ammenities.

For a hotel that expensive it was quite dark and dingy. I know the building but there are other properties w similar characteristics in NOLA that have better rooms.

Old World Charm, friendly staff. Close to shops and cafes.

walking distance to everything staff was great hotel was very clean

We loved having the pool available on a hot afternoon and the mini fridge in the room was a great benefit.

This quaint hotel is a jewel in the French Quarters. It’s like staying in the suburbs of the French Quarters. This hotel is located a few blocks from ‘ALL’ the action, but the street itself is very private and quiet. No need for a rental car, just bring some comfortable walking shoes. I would recommend this hotel for both first time visitors and French Quarters veterans alike.

The hotel is in the perfect area for all festivities, and away from it all when your partying for the night is over. The staff was beautiful, friendly and courteous. It is a very old hotel and my only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower is not good at all, nor is the temperature. However, it would not prevent me from staying there again!!!

Very period. Close to Bourbon Street and walking distant of the tours and attractions.

The Rooms have plenty of space, the bed is very comfortable, loved the bar downstairs great happy hour....Bacardi and Coke $3.50 awesome, breakfast is delicious what can I say I love this place.
