Noisy, decrepit hotel. Mold in sink. The fitness room was a joke. Avoid this dump. Also, rude staff. When I asked for an envelope, I was told to go to Walgreens. When I asked for change (to tip the staff) I was told they don’t have any. Never again!

As a business owner myself I never leave bad reviews for anything. If we don’t have a good experience I just don’t come back. After leaving the hotel completely infuriated I had to leave one. The room was ok. We were surprised to see that there wasn’t even a fridge to keep our waters in. We drank room temperature water the whole time we were there. The water in the hotel went out while my daughter was in the shower. She had to stay in there and wait until it came back. These are things that were annoying but not a huge deal. The problem was when we checked out. I asked for a breakdown of the charges. Going through it I found a smoking charge was added to my account. I told them none of us smoke. This was a family trip with my wife and kids and none of us smoke. They said it was detected with an app that they use. I went on to ask for details about when this was supposedly detected because I know with 100 percent certainty we don’t smoke. They were very dismissive and couldn’t give us anything other than a date. Then they went on to explain that there is a very long list of things that could have been what was detected including perfume being sprayed. My daughter and wife both sprayed perfume but we told them the $300 smoking charge was ridiculous when we don’t smoke. Especially if anything can cause detection like they said. They refused to remove it and said once it’s added it can’t be removed. The dismissiveness is the worst to me as a business owner.

The staff upon check-in (Malcolm) was extremely nice and helpful. However, the room was dark, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the tub leaked from the tub facet while taking a shower which caused water to fill up in the tub. The staff for the most part was extremely nice with the exception of the Manager on duty Monday evening that hung up in my face while inquiring about pending charges that were not fully explained when checking in. This was not Malcolm’s fault but my lack of asking. I was charged $150 hold at check in but saw a pending charge of 227.86 after checking out.
