This was my family's first time traveling to New Orleans to attend the Billie Eilish concert. When I booked this hotel, I let the hotel know it was for my daughter's 13th Birthday, and they said they would be “happy to provide a small birthday amenity.” This did not happen, and it was disappointing. The room wasn’t as clean as it could be; there were dirt/scuff marks on the walls, curtains, and spots on the headboards. I didn’t want to sour my daughter's birthday celebration by switching rooms, so we made the best of it and cleaned the room ourselves. The rooftop views, the self-serve water, and the location were great. We didn’t use the restaurant, bars, or the hotel pool. The location was within walking distance to great restaurants, a CVS, a grocery store, and other conveniences. If we’re in the area again, I don’t think I would book this hotel solely because of its cleanliness and oversight of our daughter's birthday. These were missed opportunities.
