Thought the service and hotel was great. The only reason why I’m giving 3 stars is because of the lack of security to the rooftop pool. My girlfriend and I visited last weekend and she found another man doing inappropriate things while hiding in the women’s bathroom stall. She quickly told security and they escorted him out some 10 mins later. Considering the location, expected higher security than this. Please be aware that outside individuals might have access to this pool, bathrooms and beware of your surroundings within the hotel.

Virgin hotel was ideal fir the Mardi Gras. It is located in a perfect spot for the parades and at the same time in a quiet place for sleeping. It is very close to a big supermarket, pharmacy and good restaurants. The service was excellent excellent . And the most important was the room: spacious, comfortable and clean

The room was very well appointed and had a cool vibe. Very clean as well. The lounge was fun for happy hour and the drink selection was enjoyable...The only complaint I have is that I forgot my phone charger & cable in the room when I checked out. I called when I got home and was directed to Housekeeping Lost & Found. They never even returned my call. Very disappointed. If they have such a service, it needs to be better managed.
