My overall experience with Royal Solaris is a good one. I would definitely recommend this resort to my family and friends. The only thing that I was not pleased with was that they could not offer late checkout. Checkout is at 11 am and that was early for us because our flight didn't leave until 4:45. The resort did hang on to our luggage for us though while we enjoyed a little more time on the beach.

This was a trip for my parents and they had the best experience of their life. The hotel was beautiful and the service was excellent.

I stayed in the connected hotel, GR Caribe, not the Royal. You have access to the Royal amenities. The whole place is very clean, my room was very comfy. The food is excellent for an 'all-inclusive' and they serve good tequila. The nightly show is nice. You get out of it what you put in... go with a good grateful attitude, and you'll love your stay. If you expect the Ritz, perhaps stay there instead. Karina, the entertainment director, was hilarious and made the stay a lot of fun.

The food staff are great ..... concierge had attitudes when asked questions that I was not understanding and if you told them your problem 9 time and out of 10 they Brush you off they didn't give u an explanation. Only response is that's how it is or that's the rules The food should be 24 hours for people who go out in the night time ... by 10-11 everything shutting down and the night time entertainment is kind of outdated overall it's really small and the inside is gloomy

They overbooked and tried to tell us that they did not have room for us and were very rude the entire time. They ended up sending half our group to a different resort and promised that we could intermingle between the two but we would constantly get kicked out of the other and were not able to spend time with our friends.

1st.... Hotel was clean and right on the beach...... Couple of things that disappointed me... Hotel staff ALWAYS trying to persuade you into taking a presentation for time share. (I told you once I wasn't interested, now leave me alone.... )Only draft beer... and the plastic glasses they serve them in was like 6oz... by the time you order a beer, walk out to the beach, its time to walk back for another.... No service on the beach area.... I would recommend this hotel and I prob would stay here again, but only If I got a Great Deal..... 3 out of 5 Stars.....

Royal Solaris was great besides the wifi. We had to pay for wifi and my phone never worked. I asked twice and was giving a code but still the wifi only worked in the lobby. I was never in the lobby.

Beautiful spot on the beach. We are beach people so we spend a lot of time on the beach. Walking, swimming & sunbathing. Great service even from our lounge chair on the beach. Lots of activities to watch or participate in at the pool during the day, shows every night, & music in the bar with dancing. The food displays are great and is always good! Temperature was in the mid 80's every day for our 10 day stay- could not ask for better.

5 friends and I stayed at this resort for our spring break and it was a great idea! Although, this is not the biggest party location for spring break it has a lot of great amenities. The pool, swim-up bar, and beach were wonderful!

Ther food may have been horrible but the staff was really nice.

I picked Cancun to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a nicer part of the resort. The room was very nice, had a lot of space and it was very clean. The staff was very nice and willing to help. The only thing in my opinion needs improvement is the food at the Las Fuentes buffet. I was surprised that for being in Mexico the food was more on the international side an not on the local side. I love abocados and never saw any at the buffet. Marco Polo restaurant was the highlight of the food, excellent way to end the trip.

Overall was very very relaxing and pleasant...I really have no complaints...everyone was so kind and nice ecspecially Jose Lun pool side and Iseral Corpu at the buffett!!!! Great guys!!!!

The staff was very helpful and friendly everywhere we went. Fun place to be.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The rooms are very clean. The only downfalls are that the swim up bar closes at 5pm and the pool area is completely dark in the morning. We are early risers who like to enjoy our morning coffee on the beach and watch the sunrise so this was a little frustrating since you have to walk through the pool area to get there.

My first day started off at around 330pm in Royal Solaris, Cancun, with a warm welcome from the Solaris staff members. They took care of everything including getting my luggage from the car to the room. Everything was so organised that there was no confusion in the itinerary. We were new to the place and to the hotel. We were so hungry when we reached the hotel after 3/4th day of travel from New Jersey, USA to Cancun, someone there suggested that we have our lunch and then proceed to the room(that was a very good suggestion for us as the lunch buffet was closing around 4). They have a real talent in the entertaining group. We witnessed a lovely dance performances, miming, dance skits etc during our 3 day stay in this hotel. The most energetic group of performers were really commendable. One thing we missed are that we could not involve ourselfs in the activities of the day as the handout given to us regarding the timing of the activity was little different than the timing of the actual activity. The front desk people are handing out an old itinerary of activities which was different from the actual activity timing. I would recommend that the front desk people need to communicate to the people to look at the boards around(there are specific places were the entertaining groups put up the timetable for two days) for updations.

The rooms are antiquated, bathroom had a weird set up. The food at the buffet was not good, other than the dessert. One of the restaurants, Marco Polo, was good, unfortunately it only serves dinner. Pools and beach were good, no complaints there. And finally, beware of the pushy hotel workers selling the "club membership ". They lie.

great hotel, terrible employees and service.
