Staff was amazing, food was good. Loved the outside pizza and sushi bars!

We had a fantastIc time at Royal Solaris for my sister’s bachelorette party! We loved the activities on the resort such as the pool Zumba and the swim up bar. The beach was great and the pizza and sushi were conveniently available at the poolside for lunch. Overall the food was good. We loved Israel, David, and Rosmarinus staff! It was easy to get buses and taxis also! Great stay and good price!

Great services, dancers did excellent. Hotel is a bit older. Hugo is the best server at buffet. Isabel wonderful housekeeping. Fanny, Stephanio. Noe & Armi all great at front desk of Royal Solaris Cancun. We booked TCS shuttle service for arrival and departure, booked Day Tour Chichen Itza with travel agents in hotel, nice trip with XCARET, good and reliable.

My experience wasn’t bad it just wasn’t the most amazing thing. The staff was great honestly can’t complain about them at all especially Noa at the front desk who did everything he could to accommodate us. The food wasn’t great, we went out to eat for dinner every night (except for one night at Marco Polo) the food didn’t look edible and I had to force myself to find something that looked appetizing. The omelette station just looked so gross to me, although the lady tried to clean to for me it was still cleaned quickly and not that clean. I don’t eat meat so there was many issues with the way the omelettes we’re prepared. Our room was spotless everyday and the sheets were changed daily. Honestly, it wasn’t bad but I’ve been to nicer. It’s a family resort so there’s a lot of kids and more locals than outside visitors at the resort.

Hotel stay was great, staff was friendly and helpful; the food was great and service at the Marco Polo restaurant was great. The property was well maintained and the rooms clean and comfy. I would definitely go back.

It is a great hotel for family with small kids. They have kids program and very nice pool area with slides for small kids. My kids enjoyed the stay. The hotel is a bit outdated but very clean. I wish they have a bath tub in the room. Staffs are very nice and always with a smile. the food in buffet is just ok, don't expect too much, I wish they have ice cream. The fine dining restaurant is a bit better but you can only reserve between 9am-3pm which is not good if you are out for day tour on that day. The pool area is big enough and the beach is just a step away from the pool which is good! We booked a lagoon view room but they are nice to upgrade us to a beach view. But try to avoid lower floor as they have loud music at night (good that I'm too tired so I felt asleep fast) Only one thing is I am not happy about is the staff who sell the tour is not too knowledgeable. We booked a jungle tour and he told us to arrived at 8:30am which we did but the tour LEFT at 8:30am. we are lucky enough to get reschedule on the same date. Although it is like a 3 stars hotel, their service is 5 stars! It's good hotel as a first timer!

Our flight was bumped so we grabbed a room at this hotel via Orbitz. Our reservation was not on their system yet 50 minutes later. That's understandable and not their fault. Large info systems don't always update instantly right. But the way that it was handled was unprofessional, rude and just downright wrong. They treated us like we were there to rip them off. We explained that we had a confirmation from Orbitz but we needed to get on wifi to show them and they wouldn't even let us have a temporary wifi code. And then after our res finally showed up in their system there was no apology and and they charged $15 per day for wifi even though it's an "all inclusive" resort. I supposed we could have drank $300 worth of Tequila but no wifi. We don't drink alcohol so they really made out on our one night stand.

The beach area is really nice. 80% of the staff is really really nice the rest got an attitude. The food is horrible, collage cafeteria at its best. Overall we had a good time but do not go there for more than 4 nights and do not except anything fancy. Last thing do not get the jacuzzi room!!! It is on the firs floor, you get a bad view of th beach and people will be right in top of you watching you from their windows while you are having your relaxing or romantic time..

The staff were amazing, friendly, accommodating & helpful. If you ask them for anything, they will handle it with a smile. We loved the atmosphere of the resort. There were many options poolside including food selection, bars, poolside loungers & cabanas, and everything we could have needed. The restaurant and food options were great, and the buffet was actually the best part. Buffet options changed nightly, and we were always happy with the selection. We were lucky enough to spend New Years Eve here & they outdid themselves on the buffet. At least 10 seafood options, 25 desserts, 2 steak stations, and numerous other options. The cafe station set up every day at 4pm is also not to be missed. They make amazing coffee with various flavors and alcohols. We also enjoyed a couple shows at the resort theater. Overall we felt that all our needs were met, and our expectations were exceeded.

We enjoyed every minute because of good location, friendly & helpful staff, good food & beverages, and lots of activity. One of us even joined their membership so we can come back & share this experience with family & friends.

Great service! Nice Room with balcony and a view of the lagoon. Stocked complimentary refrigerator. All inclusive (food and drinks included).

stayed there for 7 days, everything was great from the warm welcome to our last day. Had wonderful meals, all the food was deliciuos and staff members very kind.

We had a wonderful time, the staff was absolutely wonderful!! The beach was so close and convenient to go everyday. The kids really enjoyed being able to do both the pool and the beach daily! The food was ok, I wish the food was a little bit better or they had 1 or 2 sit down restaurants and not just Buffett’s.

same bland food everyday, no change in the menu at all. staff will keep bothering you to join their "club" or buy excursions tried to charge me for wifi use when nobe was used. only 4 small elevators and on 2 doors kept getting stuck and would not open building casts a shadow over the swimming pool and beach paper thin walls between rooms

This was a pretty resort, the staff was friendly, and the room was clean. However the food was mediocre at best. Overall it was a pleasant vacation but we probably will not visit this resort again.

The staff were friendly and it was clean but we booked for a king size bed and got two beds. the beds were uncomfortable and the food was not all that great.

low budget trip

Hotel stay was great, staff was friendly and helpful; the food was great and service at the Marco Polo restaurant was great. The property was well maintained and the rooms clean and comfy. I would definitely go back.

good resort for families in budget

Families

It is a great hotel for family with small kids. They have kids program and very nice pool area with slides for small kids. My kids enjoyed the stay. The hotel is a bit outdated but very clean. I wish they have a bath tub in the room. Staffs are very nice and always with a smile. the food in buffet is just ok, don't expect too much, I wish they have ice cream. The fine dining restaurant is a bit better but you can only reserve between 9am-3pm which is not good if you are out for day tour on that day. The pool area is big enough and the beach is just a step away from the pool which is good! We booked a lagoon view room but they are nice to upgrade us to a beach view. nice hotel if you stay out by the pool and beach.

nice beach bad food
