Ok over all. Food wasn’t as good as the other hotels around it. The hotel needs an update plus they had too many restrictions as of reservations for dinner and where you could have breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The resort is very nice and has a lot of activities for families to enjoy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and all the linens were all very clean. The towels on the other hand were extremely hard and rough on the skin. The property is also very well maintained. I wished they would’ve had more authentic Mexican food and a little more taste to what they were serving, but overall, not too bad. The front desk most of the time had only one person working which took longer and lines would start forming. Also, the doctor on site that does Covid testing, is not friendly at all and a bit rude.

Food was not the best . Bathroom towels were not soft , they need new ones

The staff was super kind a helpful. The food wasn't great and not a wide variety. We didnt like it that a waitress was giving food and drinks to vendors who were occupying beach chairs for hours. We saw those same vendors making secret sales. Our biggest complaint was that they did not uphold their own policy on saving seats with towels and other items. We actually went to the pool early and most of the seats already had towels or items on them. Those people wouldnt come down until noon while we were out there by 8 a.m. or before.

We had a great stay at Royal Solaris. All-inclusive resorts are the best places to choose from. The bars were great, especially the swim up pool bar. We had a variety of drinks that were offered. The restaurants had great food and we really liked the buffet style restaurant. The pool was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and provided great service. They offered activities each day at the pool. The beach was nice and had lots of chairs available to sit on. They offered free Corona Virus tests, which we needed. We’d stay there again if we come back to Cancun.

The hotel was very good and the all the staff were very courteseous and friendly. The room was expectacular and the cleaning lady did an exceptional job. What I didn't like it so much was the food, there's no variety. The food always was the same and very limited. I don't knowif that's what due to the Covid but there's no too much staff at the buffets and sometimes you have to wait a lot until the server gets to you to offer any drink and during your dinner you're looking if they comes back to offer you other drinks or anything else. The lines in the buffets takes so long that if you needs to make another line for something else in another station, at the time that you seat down to eat, your food will be cold. Example, for breakfast, if you wants a omelet you will neen to make a line and for the french toast will be another line and for the bacon will be another line. The shows was ok, I thing there's opportunity to improve the nights shows. They shoudl have more entertaiment in other parts of the hotel. They only habe entertainment just at the pool. We did the romantic dinner and was excellent everything. The food was awesome and the Captain and the server was excellent. This was a plus.

I love this resort and have been three times but the last time I went they were pushy with their presentation about timeshares. Will be looking at other resorts to visit in the future.

I was given a double bed, even though I specifically put that I needed a king bed for myself, husband, and daughter. They gave me lots of issues to change it. I had to stay in the double room for one night, even though they almost made me stay in it two nights. The food in the hotel is not great either. It is not a big property, so there is not much to do. The drinks are very watered down. Not even just alcohol, but soda and juices as well. Definitely will not be staying here ever again. We also did 2 excursions through the hotel and they went terrible. They promised us breakfast on the first excursion and promised to climb the coba pyramid. Once we got on the van, they said no breakfast. We did all the walking to the pyramid, and they said no we can't climb it. SO disappointing. On the catamaran excursion they promised buffet food once we got to Isla Mujeres. On the catamaran they gave us sandwiches that were not good at all. We questioned the buffet and they said oh no sorry we don't do that. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

First of all, the hotel is beautiful. This was my first time abroad for vacation and I had an amazing time. Everything was very clean, the room, lobby, hallways and their pools. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gorgeous beach with deep BLUE waters. Family friendly if that’s what you’re looking for. I went for their all inclusive special. Food was good, inside and in their outside restaurant. The only downside was their drinks, very weak. I had 4 margaritas and felt like I was drinking juice. They also have an on site concierge for outside activities. Wonderful! Everything was organized and on time. They also provide covid testing, the is fee dependent on the number of days you spend in their hotel. Overall experience 5/5. I can’t knock off any stars for the weak drinks, the beach view makes up for it.

Had a great experience at Royal Solaris. The staff were so attentive and caring. I have to give the biggest recognition to the waiter by the name of Reinhardt. He was the absolute best. Went out of his way to accommodate us everyday. Raul was always so nice too. My husband ended up getting kidney stones the last day of our trip and Ignacio helped me with breakfast for my girls and going out of his way to get my husband chicken soup. Truly grateful. Great service hands down. I totally recommend this hotel. My kids loved it. The kiddie pool is so much fun and the pool area for adults is always fun. The food is decent. The best came from the chef's

The best customer service ever, the food was good but they need to open a coffee shop i love to drink a capuchino and tea in the afternoon . in general everything was good

The chicken broth gave me food poisoning and their food selection was not good, other than that the views were beautiful I got the room with a hot tub!

Everything was great during my stay except for front Desk staff. They were really slow at the process. We had to wait like 40 minutes in line for the people in front of us to get checked in and wait another 30 for our check in process. Ive worked as a front Desk in 4 and 5 star hotels in Atlantic City, huge hotels and check in process was fast. 5-10in max and people were out to their rooms. I dont know if this hotel has a slow system in their computers or its just the staff. They have to make this work better so customers are satisfied.
