Overall a great hotel friendly staff members, great beach views. The pool was awesome as well no complaints.

too much sales person bugging Stop you and spend too much time to sell you their tours when you just get from a long time flying you are so hungry and tired from flying and they push you to buy their trips.

Was changed to the next resort Grand Caribe which was good and still was able to use all the restaurants and amenities from Royal Solaris. The staff was great.. the entertainment staff really work their butts off during the day activities and then in their nightly show performances. My only complaint is the wifi... I was on the 6th floor and barely got wifi signal, only worked in the pool and reception areas.

We had a good time, and our concierge Fitz was very helpful he made our stay even better!!

We went 4 days 3 nights to Cancun, with my parents and my teenage niece. After a horrible air travel, once we got to the hotel it was smooth sailing... they have activities for any age group, the staff is professional, friendly and very hard working. I'm very satisfied with everything (food, beach, hotel, water sports, etc)

This was a beautiful resort that was always well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Premises is a bit small compared to other resorts I've been to but I thought it was a plus because everything was nearby. Only complaint was that there wasn't much of a variety with food. I grew tired of eating the same stuff everyday.

everything great, however it still attracts the "adult spring breakers" that do nothing but do shot at the pool.

Hotel Accomodations: This is an older hotel but it's not in bad shape. The bedrooms looked nice and the housekeeping was excellent! However, the beds were very hard... hotel is aware of this as they have little notes by the night tables that offer "extra comfort" for the beds. For toiletries... guess it's not a deal breaker but they have horrible shampoo... bring your own! They have scent sprays located around the lobby and most waiting areas... we found them pretty overwhelming and not pleasant. Food: at the moment of our visit the hotel was doing some remodeling... there were only three restaurants available, two buffets with the exact same menu and one "a la carte". Overall the food was good... it just seemed that it was the exact same items with just a slight variation... not much variety for dinner. Omelette and pancake stations for breakfast were nice. Pizza & sushi by the pool were great. One thing is they should improve the ventilation/extractor systems at their "Las Fuentes" buffet... you always left smelling like food and the whole walkway smelled like food. Their staff is mostly friendly and housekeeping was great. They offer night shows (which were good) and live entertainment every night... Also... this is a timeshare company so beware that upon checking in they will keep you for at least an hour trying to convince you to go to their sales thing. Overall... it's not a bad hotel, it just needs some updating.

The staff at this hotel is great. Always friendly and helpful. The food however is not good at all. The only thing I had during our week long stay that was good were the pancakes in the morning. The rest of the buffet actually looked unappetizing and did not taste good at all. By the end of our trip, most of our group (25 of us) were going out to eat, which sucks when you pay for an all inclusive resort! Room was always cleaned nicely, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable (hard, I could feel the springs!). We booked our excursions right at the hotel which was really nice. I would not stay here again unless the food was improved alot!

Hotel and pool was nice however the pool bar closed at 6pm, leaving one bar inside the hotel you would have to go to. Although "all-inclusive", food was not available at all hours and the food was horrible. They also did not have room service. The beds are extremely hard and very uncomfortable. Pools were nice but water too warm for the hot/humid weather.

The beach was exquisite, without a doubt. The pools were all good for a relaxing float, and the large hot tub was nice after swimming in the surf. The rooms were pretty good- a couple broken drawers, and lots of wind noise from the AC escaping through the sliders to the balcony, which was easily resolved with a towel on the floor. The balcony of our suite was great. Breakfasts were good (loved the omelet station), buffet lunches were okay (but really liked the pizza and sushi from by the pool), and dinners were great- we ate at Marco Polo every night- service and food were fantastic (highly recommended). Wasn't crazy about being prodded to listen to a time share presentation at least once a day (there are time share sales people in key areas of the building- including upon check in- they're on you as soon as you walk in the door), but after a couple days of saying "no thanks" they stopped trying quite as hard (and they were all very pleasant). Liquor was plentiful and easy to get- and I know its all inclusive, but I liked to leave a dollar for every service interaction (more at Marco Polo- it was worth it). There are plenty other fancier places that cost more, but for the money this was great, and I highly recommend it. My 15 year old also enjoyed it, and our 18 year old absolutely loved it (and took full advantage of his legal status in Cancun). Built in entertainment at night was nice (not exactly broadway- more like a cruise, but it was fun). Staff was all good.

I booked king bed was given two doubles, pool was dirty. Foods was almost the same everyday, lunch leftovers were used at dinner. All of my family got sick vomiting and diarrhea

MY EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT, NICE HOTEL CLOSE TO THE SEA, WITH A STAFF EXCELLENT, NICE INSTALATION, GREAT FOOD AND BEVERAGES, CLEAN ROOMS, EXCELLENT SHOW AT NIGTH, GOOD ATTRACTION AND ACTIVITIES

So my boyfriend and I were really excited about this hotel. We had got the romance package and our room came decorated with rose petals and a complimentary bottle of champagne. This was my graduation gift and my first time out of the country so we planned to to have a really good time. Our first day straight off the flight we went into the hotel and got dressed in our swimsuits we had already began drinking a few beers and one bottle of champagne down. We head down to the swim up bar to get food and more drinks. Long story short, I got reallly drunk and fell and busted my lip......blood everywhere. A few of the male workers tried to help me up and put me in a wheel chair to "help me" my boyfriend was still in the pool while all of the commotion was going on (he was drunk as well). So they were trying to take me somewhere and not let him come in which he got really upset so the male staff tackled him the ground and got him arrested. My boyfriend was arrested in MEXICOOOOO. Long story short the hotel stole our go pro camera and kicked us out. My boyfriend suffered a broken wrist and other bruises and scratches at the hands of the police and his gold chains were also stolen. I had to ay 350USD to bail him out and then the hotel would not let us reenter. Im pretty sure things like this happen all the time but for them to get him arrested and kick us out was over the top. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR ANYONE WHO LIKES TO DRINK AND HAVE A GOOD TIME AND WANTS TO PROTECT.

If you are going to Cancun to get the Mexican Food, the Mexican Culture, the Mexican alcoholic drinks, choose one of the other locations... the food here is terrible, not even mexican food. I did two excursions and they provided authentic mexican food... this is ALL FROZEN FOOD, burgers come in wrappers and they literally unwrap them in front of you... the "a la carte" dinner options serve food the literally fits in the size of your hand. "all inclusive resort" haha it includes water downed drinks, cheap vodka/liquor, and wait if you go to the a la carte restaurants you have to pay extra for the certain wines, food platters, and desserts... but DONT WORRY they will charge it to your room. We needed to print out some confirmations for one of our excursions that we bought on site, $6 dollars for 15 minutes of internet use to print out the documents. They only had one swim up bar in the pool, and again drinks were terrible! So disappointed, pay to go to another location, GR Solaris is much better fit! No entertainment at the pool, no night life inside the hotel, everything is extra charge, drinks are bad, frozen food, no authenticity... we were not the only family that was disappointed, many walked out when they saw wine and some shrimp/steak platters ran an extra charge. Thank you Solaris for making my stay a terrible one. I'm glad I took two excursions and got real mexican food, and real mexican culture.

The hotel and staff were very good excellent cleanliness in the hotel very we'll mannered staff and very good service. The night shows were good and entertaining, in overall I'll recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone I know thanks Royal Solaris

royal solaris was great but changed resort

nice cozy resort

This was a beautiful resort that was always well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful.
