The people and staff where always friendly, the Capitan of the Italian restaurant did a great job accommodating my wife and I, so kudos to him. Very very organized from beginning to the end. Also felt very safe and again the organization no wild crazy parties it was all great experience. Cancun blew my mind!

Great vacation

Great getaway ! Beautiful views always clean. Staff very nice. I will be returning again !

Omni Cancún is overall quite excellent. It is safe, clean, and convenient. The quality of food can be further improved. The selection of beer can also be enlarged.

We loved the juice bar in the morning. Staffs were friendly. The food was good. The only thing we didn’t like was that they introduced us the 90 mins presentation , we did attend but we declined the deal and there was too much pressure that made us feel very uncomfortable.

I was here 20 years ago and couldn’t wait to get back. Wow, was I disappointed. The staff was extremely rude and we had a construction crew working on our broken air conditioners for an entire day banging around and keeping us out. This was only after having to call and ask them to fix it several times because our villa was so hot. We also left our books and other personal items on 3 chairs by the pool only to come back to them missing. A person nearby said a worker came and put them all in a box. We asked about it and after no one knowing for a long time we finally found them on the floor behind the concierge’s desk. We constantly felt like a burden at each meal even though we were polite and tipped. The staff was incredibly rude to our children when they ordered drinks or asked for anything. We will never stay at an Omni again.

We booked three rooms and were provided to stay in a villa. The view is excellent from the villa. All the staffs were friendly and helpful. The hotel has the in-site clinic for COVID test which accepts walk-in testing. The hotel lobby and exterior looks fine, the villa was clean but outdated. There were lack of electric outlets in the room, so I needed to unplug the nightstand lights to charge our phones and tablets. And the Wi-Fi reception in the room was pretty bad. The hotel needs to improve. There are not many restaurants to choose from especially for dinner. I have never been able to make a reservation for the Italian restaurant which is the only restaurant that require reservation. The food of the other restaurants are decent. Maybe due to pandemic, there was no paper menu. We need to scan a QR code to get the menu, so make sure having a smart phone with you.

Buffet was the only negative, not many food options. Staff was great and kept the resort clean. Pools were little chilly.

The staff at reception were not friendly and knowledgeable. They do not communicate with the restaurant staff. QR code for Italian restaurant didn’t work at all. Very disappointed ☹️

Good staff

Nothing special. Staff was incredible although short handed.

Close to bus routes and activities, walking distance for other attractions. Beach is also another way of walking to other attractions. Food could be alittle upgrade on and nightly musical activities on site.

we had no electricity one day and no water the next day. restaurants were good if you can get in- we ate at buffet almost every night for supper.

one week weeks time: two days without wifi, one full day without electricty, and the next full day without water! Staff was very nice and everything was clean. Very limited eating options.

The service was not to par with some other hotels in Cancun. There were many little things I could mention that I disliked but just to keep it brief I will say that the hotel is quite dated, along with the rooms. The food is average- practically the same every day (I got tired of it by the end of my stay, not a lot of variety at all, especially if you miss your chance to sign up for a rotating evening restaurant). Things that were left out accidentally by me were never recovered (even in my room after checking out)- not a big deal to me, just thought I would point that out. The beach was non-existent (the sand got washed out after our first night there), so we were forced to go to neighboring beaches if we wanted to lay out and hope that they didn't kick us out. The nightly entertainment- ok. (The group of dancers were wonderful, but were the same every night). Alcoholic beverages- ok. I think if you're getting the stay for a great price then it might be worth it, but it will be a pass for me for my next family vacation, I would rather pay a bit more and feel like royalty like I did on my previous trips to Cancun.
