The hotel staff and accommodations were spot on!! The pristine blue waters, white sand and endless pina colada's proved the right combination for complete relaxation. The Omni is a well kept and exceptionally run facility. The staff couldn't have been more attentive to patrons needs and wants. Every single one!! I cant wait to come back and bring more people to experience the pampering The Omni offered.

Our stay was great. One experience with the timeshare guys, They are nice until you go to the office and meet the sales guys call them sharks,; first they want to sell you 30 years and they try hard, we are in mid 70's then they throw the paper on the floor, then try hard and hard with all the additional deals and they want you to agree on the spot and pay by credit card, I said I want to take the papers to the room to talk it over with my wife, NO must do now or the deal is off, OK with me deal is off, then comes the big boss and he was just nasty as well. We left. No more timeshare discussions with anyone.

Whilst we understand the hotel is in the process of an upgrade the smell of drains in our room was horrendous. We covered plug holes and drains in the bathroom but still the odour was unpleasant. We also had requested a King Bed but were told none were available on arrival. Some staff were excellent and some totally forgetful and not particularly attentive. Trying to get a second cup of hot water for tea at Breakfast was difficult every day. The drinks also varied in alcohol content to a massive degree. Some so strong they needed diluting and some that came as a soft drink with apparently little or no alcohol at all. The location is excellent and safe. It was a 3 star experience at best and needs a few staff meetings and attention to the negatives otherwise like us they will have guests who would have liked to return but will not be doing so.

Overall, the resort was good. However we were there during rennovations which made some of our trip a challenge. The waiters and bartenders were all very pleasant and made the difference in our experience. I would recommend this location

The hotel is nice. We received the expected value for the cost. Food was good however since it was off season, we experienced daily alternating restaurant closures. Liquor selection when requested was top shelf. Pools, chaise lounge chairs, patio furniture and grounds were very clean. Staff was prompt and polite. We would recommend the hotel to others.

Our arrival led us to have to find transportation from the airport. Once we arrived we were very welcome. The staff were friendly, courteous, and more than willing to help us out. We weren't told that we needed to make advance reservations for the finer restaurants at the resort, and ended up eating at the buffet a few of the evenings. Which was fine. The overall experience of the restaurants was ok. Not as good as I expected. Knowing this now I would still stay here. The evening shows were great and entertaining.

For a place we never heard of, we thought it was amazing! The food, the staff, the service and the overall layout of the resort was top notch. The beach views were incredible, but the was the Hill was from the waves crashing were obstructing views, but that’s Mother Nature.

I booked a 6 night vacation to the Omni Cancun for a girl's trip with a friend. Our main priority was to REST, RELAX and enjoy the sunshine! This resort and the staff was perfect for us. Upon Checkin everyone was extremely accommodating, and offered things before we even had to ask for them. Cleanliness and customer service were at the top of the list. The Entertainment Team offered YOGA classes in the morning, which I took advantage of! It was nice to practice out by the pools and I had a solo class :) They also offered activities such as water volleyball, beach volleyball that we played every day. We worked out in the hotel gym a few times. And it had great weight racks & cardio machines. We also had manicures at the Spa which were nice, the spa is just a little small. The food was good! The buffet and all of the individual restaurants. The waitstaff and bartenders are SO NICE. They want to get you everything you need and consistently bring you more drinks!!!

Great facility food was outstanding great time but flight delay left us one day short and WiFi could have bin better

This hotel had great food, with many options. The drinks were very easy to get and tasted good. The rooms were decent with a little bit of construction going on in some areas. The pools and hot tobs and beach area were top of the line. The only bad part of the hotel was the constant hassling of the concierge service about doing the hotel tours every time you made eye contact.

The first thing we noticed when arriving is how old it is, which yes, its under construction, but they are only doing some bathrooms, and 2 villas. My bathroom was nice, and completely out of place with the rest of the room. We did get offered a fairly cheap upgrade to ocean view, right after however, we was asked if we wanted to join the VIP program, and was told "oh no its completely free, its like a rewards card the more you stay the more points you get" with being promised discounts on excursions. We specifically told him that we DO NOT WANT ANY KIND OF TIMESHARE PRESENTATION AT ALL! We were guaranteed that it was NOTHING like that, I did not care about a discount on excursions, I could have gone down to the excursion center at the port and haggled that myself!! But a free rewards program, awesome! The next morning after getting stopped on the way to breakfast, and after I told them I want to eat breakfast alone with my husband, they pushed themselves with us anyways, low and behold, A TIMESHARE PREVENTION, I was furious! After turning down their 30k dollar offer, they turned into complete A-HOLES. Then they stand outside the elevators every morning trying to get people. Rant over. The beach slopes down like Cabo (didnt like cabo bc of that) if you want relaxing swimming beach, go to playa del carmen or farther. Drinks were so weak, or watered down alcohol, all those reviews are TRUE. entertainment was horrible and doesnt last long at all, which I guess was a good thing.

Aldo at the pool bar is great. Carlos in the buffet anticipated our needs and remembered us each morning. Beautiful grounds, very clean. Tome share guys were a bit bothersome on the first day.

Pros 1) We got a villa for a reasonable price. The villas are three story and have three big bedrooms. 2) There were plenty of big pools and plenty of seating (with shade) around the pool. Also, plenty of shady seating on the beach. Cons 1) WiFi is non-functional 2) Restaurants have very limited hours of operation. For example, there is only one restaurant open a night and you need reservations. The main buffet restaurant was only open for lunch 1 out of 4 days for us. 3) Brand name liquor is limited at the bars. Beverages provided in the room are VERY limited. The last all inclusive I went to provided wine, brand name liquor, beer, water, juice, and soft drinks in the room. The Omni provides a few bottles of water, a few soft drinks, and a few beers (Tecate only). No wine or liquor. 4) All inclusive, but they charge a $5USD fee every time you order room service.

The staff was great. Very accommodating and friendly. Truly they went out of your way to make you happy. Carlos, Angel and Orlando-GREAT bartenders. Maruicio from entertainment staff, wonderful! A really ooverall great experience. Only thing is that they were doing construction throughout the day, starting at about 10am until 6pm. You heard it in your room. Slightly annoying. But that is it

We had a six days family vacation gathering. We all enjoyed our stay at the Omni Cancun very much. The hotel service was excellent. The intertainment team was nice and friendly. The food was delicious a very big selection. Very nice rooms and grounds. The Omni Cancun is mostly recommend. We all had an excellent vacatin time.

We stayed at the Omni, 22-27 Sep 2017. The hotel staff was very accomodating and very helpful. The all inclusive buffet and drinks was awesome. I can't complain, the food was great! The pools and the beach were breathtaking. Our room was cleaned up daily. Only thing they forgot was toilet paper and coffee. But otherwise our stay was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel if you plan on vacationing in Cancun.

We like everything good price nice room friendly people good food

We stayed for three nights. The first night, we found our room to be incredibly loud as it was tile everywhere with very few furnishings and thin doors/walls. The place echoed up and down the halls and room. Our mini bar was empty and there were bugs every morning in our room. We had water leaking from the room above into our bathroom the first night, they sent some folks to clean it up but didn't stop the actual leakage. We were never offered another room. The pool games were incredibly loud right outside our window, and they even had a karaoke contest our last night until 9pm right outside (we were being picked up at 2am). All together, the staff was pretty friendly. However, the check in process took forever and we had to spend 30 minutes talking with someone who was trying to get us to go on excursions for free, provided we spend another 90 minutes one morning listening to them sell us on the hotel or timeshare and sign our friends up or something. They then guilted us for saying "no".

Hotel staff were verse please tell and hotel was very family friendly
