Omni Cancun Hotel and Villas All Inclusive

The place was overall a decent value. The hotel and property are beautiful, the food was good for an all inclusive but there were a couple items that can't be overlooked. First, the villa by the ocean had one of the prettiest views available in Cancun. It was in good proximity to the other parts of Cancun but still a haul to Tulum (visit Xel Ha and do the dolphin trainer for the day). The Villa itself was roomy though somewhat dated and we had several calls to maintenance for items like a broken AC in one of the rooms, a broken shower fixture the little erupted when I pulled the lever up to start the shower and pieces of tile fell off the roof onto the balcony. Manuel at the front desk and the maintenance people were there so fast it was hard to get upset, though I would prefer not to get knowing them by name. The food at the buffet was different every day and for an all inclusive was good quality and the kids (4 teens) never complained and moreover they looked forward to getting lunch by the pool. The small Mexican restaurant open during the day had fantastic tacos. I don't think I have ever eaten 5 tacos in one day. The Pina Coloda restaurant was fantastic and the waitstaff was charming and attentive all while dining beachside. DaVinci's is more formal and was caught off guard that men had to wear dress pants...which I certainly left home , so we didnt get to eat there. I would go there again and hope they fix the little stuff!

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Omni. There was easy access to the beach and a variety of dining choices. We enjoyed the entertainment and had a nice view from our balcony. We did not like feeling like we had to avoid the people in the lobby who were trying to get us to sign up for services such as the spa.

Food is really good, except for Buffett could have been better. Pools are great and drinks really good. Staff could have been nicer. Overall great place to stay, better than other places I have stayed before! Will come back.

Everyone was very friendly and for those who don't speak English, just about everyone at the OMNI does speak English. The pools were amazing and the beach was great. We did get bored of the same breakfast for 7 mornings but lunch was great and OMG dinners were amazing at any restaurant we picked at the OMNI. We are planning for December with more family and friends at the Villas!

Its ok. I didn't like the place so much, you can definitely find a better place in Cancun them this hotel.

Staff was super helpful and polite. Amenities were great.

Not far from La isla shopping area to hang out at night and aquarium. Good to stay about 5 days. Quality- price was correct.

We like trying new places when we go to Cancun, Omni was nice If we were going to bring our 5 year old this would be a nice family place. Lots of food options, fast drinks and clean hotel. Nice it does not have the Riff Raff a lot of other places we have been too. Entertainment was nice and beach well cared for. Check in easy and check out fast. Ask for a ocean view, $100 bucks makes it happen!

Hotel was rather dated. No kids at the Italian restaurant. The buffet food was not good at all and not too many vegetarian options. We went to eat dinner at 10 and the buffet was to close at 11 half the buffet was picked up and the rest was getting picked up. Staff in restaurants not very pleasant.

great resort for family. stayed in villa and it was clean and comfortable

Beach was great I would get reservations to the restaurants right away. We had a 5 day stay and two of the restaurants were booked. Great entertainment for the kids in the evening.

Buffet had sam food 7 days , they just added different sauce and spices to call it a different theme night. It was horrible taste and quality food poisioning after third day. Pina Colada had decent breakfast and lunch. Drinks were okay. Staff is only nice when they hover over you for a tip even though all inclusive tips are included in price. They said new renovations. We have been to Omni many times only change was the lobby and new Asian dining place/hookah club. Air conditioning barely works in lobby or halls. Floors are slippery inside and steps and tiles outside are dangerously slipperly. Davinci was booked our entire trip so we never were able to dine inside. Nice place but over priced and overrated

Good hotel if you're bringing kids and family. A lot of kids everywhere. Not a whole lot of entertainment. So, if you're single or not coming with kids might want to choose somewhere else. Staff were great, food was mostly good. However, maid skipped cleaning our room every other day. Strange because we were always out of the room early and would always leave a tip. Beautiful grounds and views

Best family trip ever !!! Omni Cancun is a the place To create memories. Rent a Cabana , order drinks and Chill.

Felt like Fiesta Americana is a bit better, with better dining, better pool. Nightly entertainment at Omni was sometimes really good and other times really cheesy. The hooka smoking at the after hours disco seemed out of place in the family hotel but appreciated there was a music/dancing spot. Gym had instructions on machines only in Spanish, so got exercise running on sidewalks outside, which wasn't ideal for a workout.

It was excelent, 2nd time here and defenetly will visit again next time with the kids, we had a great time

Great place to enjoy a resort all inclusive experience for a great value. Rooms and bathrooms were nice and updated, although the beds were a bit too firm for my taste. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was better than average, with a few choices to make reservations and dine. Unlimited drinks were stiff. Dos Equis was their choice of beer, I wish they had Corona. The beach was beautiful but the waves were a bit rough. No in your face sales pitches for excursions or timeshares, which was much appreciated. Young couples beware, as it is a family friendly environment with kids running around. Overall, an enjoyable getaway.

Nice hotel, by the beach, stuff are wonderful, the food was great, clean rooms, fun activities

The vacation club people are aggressively annoying. We were welcomed by one and had no idea. He stood with us in line to check in and I just thought it was hospitality. It was t until he asked us to sit down after check in to go over the hotel map. Again, thinking this was normal protocol we did. That's when he started selling and signing us up for the club speech the next day which is 90 min. We decided not to go and on our way to the gym got stopped by a random club worker lady asking if we were going. Our spot wasn't until two hours from then! After the gym we hit up breakfast and the guy came and found us asking if we were going! For the next day even after we told them we weren't interested we kept getting bothered about it. One of the workers notified us in the lobby and called out the original guy and motioned him that we were coming. It was so strange, like we were being followed or tracked!
