The only thing we were upset about was people “reserving” chairs at the pool with towels and NOT using them for hours at a time.

Our stay had great moments, but overall it was disappointing. Most of the staff- instructors, wait staff, and bellhops—were fantastic and the beach was beautiful. Unfortunately, the front desk was the complete opposite. Challenging and dismissive which set a poor tone for the stay. We ran into several issues with our room. We experienced surprise maintenance visits, water damage that left a mildew smell, electrical issues and a layout with almost no privacy between the bathroom and shower areas. With 4 adults in a room that had only 1 bed and a broken fold-out couch (told could fit 4), we had to request cots three times before they finally arrived. Pillows were bulky and uncomfortable. A “wine debacle” added frustration—asking for a glass resulted in a full bottle being charged $100!). We challenged the staff and ultimately were told to bring it up at checkout - we did and then were told we had to pay for the bottle because it was “empty,” despite it being left in the room over 1/2 full. They insisted and we felt bamboozled. Restaurant access also wasn’t user-friendly; this should really be integrated into the app. Entertainment was lacklustre and geared mostly toward kids. And between the slow elevators and the relentless construction noise—so loud we could barely have a conversation at breakfast—it made it difficult to fully relax. There were bright spots thanks to the wonderful staff outside the front desk, but overall? I DO NOT RECOMMEND and will not be back.

I experienced bed bug bites during my stay, and I was itching all over. I only asked if they had any cream or ointment I could apply, but they told me that only paid medical services were available. I wasn’t trying to be a difficult guest, nor was I asking for anything special—just something to help with the itching. Instead, they questioned whether I had even been bitten there, said they needed to inspect the bed first, and told me there was nothing they could do. It made me feel like they saw me as someone trying to get compensation or credits, which was very upsetting. After returning home, I was so worried that bed bugs might have followed me in my luggage or clothes that I steamed everything twice, washed everything twice, and put it all through a hot dryer cycle twice. I really hope nothing came back with me. The whole experience left me feeling very frustrated and disappointed with how the hotel handled the situation.

Not good at all. Guest services were poor, and several servers and spa staff showed noticeable attitude. We were there for my wedding, and despite spending a significant amount of money and bringing them business, we didn’t receive a single gesture of special treatment—not even a flower or a simple “congratulations.” Meanwhile, two single male friends of mine who were just sharing a room received flowers on their beds on the night of my wedding. We were a group of over 20 people, and every single one of us felt disrespected. Room cleaning was inconsistent, and it was clear that guest services were unwilling to help unless a tip was involved. I’ve been to Mexico many times, and this was far from top-resort service. I am extremely disappointed and honestly embarrassed that I chose this place for my friends and family to stay during my wedding.

Great location in Hotel zone, very friendly staff, ok kept property and grounds, pools are great. BUT be aware of these 1) food quality is low and options are very limited, worse that any other 4-5 start hotel in Mexico 2) hot tub are not working or lukewarm water, definitely not a hot tub
