Overall experience was great. Shower and tub presented a problem since glass prohibited access No grab bars for safe exiting tub

Only real complaint I have is that we got there at 11 and they said we had to wait till 3 because they didn’t have the room we booked ready yet, then at 3 we still ended up getting placed in a room we didn’t book so it was a waste of 4 hours. The food also could have been better and a larger variety of drink options would’ve been nice but overall still enjoyed our stay. I love the entertainment staff they kept everyone smiling and having a good time! And the beach was absolutely gorgeous!

room very old , buffet not change everyday no live music no club ...need remodel room the Lobby very nice ,beach beautiful ...if you have all I want you will be 4.5 Star and we will be ther every year..

the eoom service was terrible the option for restaurants were extremley limited. The buffet was very bad. the pool bar staff were awesome but again very limited drinks no top shelf anything. i was there for a conf otherwise would have checked out early. will not be back.

Amazing resort and amazing staff. Had really good time.

First time at this hotel and exceeded my expectations! Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Very close to the beach. Food was fantastic! The hotel also has a few restaurants which you need to make reservations. Also includes a snack bar by the pool (hot dogs and cheeseburgers, they're very tasty)! And endless buffet (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in the dining room! We'll return!

2nd time at an Iberostar, first time in Cancun, very high quality resort as expected. Entire staff was tremendous all week. The resort is very clean and well maintained. Were put in incorrect room initially but front desk staff corrected in minutes. The rooms are typical hotel style, the suites in Jamaica Iberostar are much nicer but was still comfortable. All food, both restaurants and buffets were very good. Resort has plenty of space and a large beach area. Would recommend and would stay there again.

The best experience of all, I went for my honeymoon and the hotel staff had all the attention and romantic details for us, including in the restaurants, I am very happy, I would surely go back again.

We had a very good stay the hotel is clean and have many pools for the whole family , good restaurants and great service on their from everybody.

Great time. Excellent food and drinks. Very friendly. Well worth the trip.

Todo el personal es súper amable y servicial. La comida muy rica. Fueron unas excelentes vacaciones.

This was our 5th trip in a row to Cancun for spring break. Iberostar was the fourth resort that we have stayed at for the week. We got off to a rocky start because they had our reservation screwed up. I booked an ocean front suite and they had us down for a regular ocean view room. After about an hour we got it worked out and got the suite that I had booked 4 months ago. There are 2 reasons that I would not recommend this hotel. 1- the food at the buffet was terrible and the mixed drinks were pre made and tasted nothing like they were supposed to taste. My pre teen daughters love to drink virgin strawberry daiquiris and miami vice drinks and they wouldn't even drink them because they "tasted weird". 2- under staffed. the people who worked at the resort were very nice and friendly but there just wasn't enough of them to go around. Pool side, the beach, the buffet, ect... took forever to get any kind of service. On the positive side the pools and beach was awesome, and the steakhouse, japanese and mexican restaurants were good. We enjoyed the Paradisus and the Hyatt Ziva much more than the Iberostar

A great place to unwind for a few days. Beautiful grounds, and plenty of space around the pools. The buffet had plenty of food options.

First room assignment was terrible but they switched to better one

We chose this resort because it's laid out very compact, meaning you don't have to walk very far. We had a beautiful ocean view room. Customer service throughout hotel was amazing. You can call, or contact them via the hotel app and within minutes whatever you needed was delivered to your room. Restaurants were all available for reservations even though it was spring break. They only let you make 2 reservations at a time on the app so once you complete one reservation just delete it and schedule your next one. I liked this because many resorts we have been to people make a ton of reservations at the beginning then never go to them. Which leaves no availability yet the restaurant is half empty. And despite what some said on here the food and buffets (especially the main buffet) were great with a lot of variety. Anyway, only con was that the pool was very cold, and rooms didn't get quite cool enough for me (stayed at about 21c) But we solved that by closing curtains during the day when we werent in the room, which helped keep room cooler. This resort has activities all day long and good performances at night. We were able to get a chairs and umbrellas by the pool each day no problem. They have a few vendors come in two nights to sell their crafts which was cool. We will definitely be back. This is good for all ages, and especially if you are unable to walk very far.

Everything is beautiful.the only negative thing is of the food.not the way it is cooked, but the quality of food which is very poor, not of a 5star hotel.

Upon arrival in early January my wife and two kids were in shock to discover the pools to be cold. The resort had most of the guest out of the water sunbathing. It was weird to see an empty pool. I called the management and complained and they assured me that they would turn in the heaters. Well, 5 days later the water was still cold. My kids left very sad!!!!!! I have never experience this before in Cancun!

Great stay. Eileen, Yael (not sure if I spelled correctly) and Enrinque are a wonderful addition to your staff. Thank you so much.

Pros: Bell boys were very friendly. Most staffs at the restaurant were very nice. We got the room by the beach with pool access balcony so kids enjoyed it a lot. Beach was clean and safe. There were lifeguards and police patrols. Kids also enjoyed playing water in the kid's pool. They loved slides and fountains and all decorations. Food at the steakhouse was superb. Cons: The staff at the front desk couldn't communicate English well but the staff at the guest service was really helpful. We had to make reservations for dinner during our stay on the first day we arrived. However, there were not many choices left. We went there with 2 kids and all we got were after 8 pm slots so we couldn't attend any kid's show taking place at 8:30 pm at all. Otherwise, we had to have dinner at the buffet restaurant where we had breakfast and lunch everyday. That's boring. Food served at the buffet restaurant was pretty low quality. It's good when you arrived there early. They mostly didn't refill the food at the last hour unless you asked them for specific items.

Have stayed at many hotels in Cancun and Iberostar is very nice. Rooms well appointed however, it’s an older hotel in the hotel zone. Really enjoyed the steak house and the hibachi restaurants. The only complaint would be the swimming pool was very cold. It did not appear to be heated.
