Great hotel located right between the downtown bars and the big mall. 4th time staying here and it's just as good if not better than all the other times. A true all inclusive, with at least 3 restaurant/meal options at any given time throughout the day. Also has 24 hour room service, 2 big pools with bars, a decent gym with full steam room and sauna. Also, extremely friendly staff that we recognize and a few even recognized us from 18 months ago. Once you go to this hotel, you will not stay at another hotel in Cancun.

As soon as we walked into the hotel we got a whole bunch on free upgrades Including room!!! Very friendly stuff at the lobby, couldn’t wish better!!! An hour later a bottle of shampagne was delivered to our room. Didn’t have any issues with making recervations at the restaurant. Food was tasty and all inclusive buffet full of seafood and local desserts. Definately will keep in mind this hotel when booking our next trip to Mexico!!!))))

Grand Park Royal Cancun pampered us for our entire stay. From the front desk, through the maintenance staff, waiters and bartenders, everyone did everything to make our stay pleasant. Additionally, their beach facility and pool arrangement was large and superior to most we saw along the beach. In the all-inclusive arrangement, the food was excellent and plentiful. While I declined the introduction to being a member, by the end of my stay I would consider it as this is only one of their resorts and if they are all managed as professionally, it could be worthwhile. This was my first trip to Cancun and now that I know the logistics of the area I look forward to returning.

Everything about this hotel was good - including location, beach, facilities, cleanliness, food and events. The only issue we had was that they provided a room with double beds even for couples! Even upon request, there was nothing they could do.

The hotel is very nice and the service is exceptional. However I wish we would have known that families with little kids have many fewer choices. Kids are not allowed at the Oriental restaurant for dinner, the Prime Rib for dinner or the Italian restaurant for dinner. Also kids are not allowed at one of the pools that has the swim-up bar and infinity pool. So options for kids were limited. We still had a good time though and the food at the buffet was fairly good. The Taco snack bar had some really great authentic tacos! Drinks at the bars were good. The beach is amazing, clean and plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas. The entertainment was alright. I felt like they disappeared a lot during the daytime peak hours and repeated the same entertainment day after day (bingo, beach volleyball and 'fashion show' which was just a ruse to get you to buy clothes). I would have liked to see more varied entertainment activities especially more for kids. Nighttime entertainment was hit or miss, just average.

I had a great time with my family this Christmas at Grand Park Royal. It was my first time at Cancún and they made it a very pleasant one.

Very convenient location and the beach was beautiful.

Warm welcome upon arrival. Check in was later but we were given full access to all the amenities. We enjoyed the pool with the swim up bar. Fransico was a wonderful bartender. The buffet was great. Great variety. The staff was friendly and courteous. We would definitely make this somewhere we would return to

That was my first time there with my wife. We did enjoy every minute of it. The staffs were very pleasant. The only thing need more varieties of food and more drink in the room beside that lovely place and very clean. They make the best for my wife birthday there love it. Keep up the good job.

Beautiful resort with super fabulous friendly staff! Resort was wonderful. All staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Francisco at the pool bar! Food was pretty good overall, loved that the buffet changed every day, never the same food. The Italian restaurant was fantastic, oriental was unfortunately closed for renovations, Mexican was unique and good small portions but they will bring you more of anything you want. Snack bar and pizza were both great. Didnt get to try the taco bar, next time! Beautiful beaches and great pools, infinity pool was more relaxing and had the swim up bar but lots of action all day at the main pool. Most unique finds for souvenirs were at the onsite markets in the evenings and on the beach in front of the resort from people walking by. We didn't really explore much else as we enjoyed the resort so much! Only suggestions for improvement would be to have more/longer evening entertainment. Cant wait to go back! Trying to plan another trip in the next couple months! :)

The hotel sat on a wonderful Beach we had wonderful views from our room our room was very clean the food was good throughout the resort. Upon arrival to the hotel a lot of high-pressure sell attempts, same for the next day constant harassment finally if you're rude enough they will leave you alone.Our room had a refrigerator that barely would keep anything cool at Beth a toilet that wobbled and was very difficult to flush no ceiling fans in the room and intermittent hot water in the shower

We had a beautiful stay for my 30th birthday. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. They even decorated my room for my birthday while I was at the pool. Food was good. Buffet was very small, other than that I can’t complain.

Second time at the hotel, will say that everything was great except for our Concierge,,,, Jaimie,,, he called us once and never even bothered to meet us.... Our first visit the Concierge we had was wonderful ! explained everything, helped us get where we needed to go,,, explained everything and checked on us to be sure we were happy. The rest of the staff, especially the staff in the main Buffet were fantastic. The food was good, but the waiters made it so pleasant to be there ! Loved the pool, the grounds and the room also. Cancun was great, had no troubles going anywhere and everyone treated us kindly and with respect.

The hotel in it self is nice. The position is lovely. The food is nice, wouldn’t say outbof this world and definitely set up for in and out. Would have been nicer if a little more thought and care in the meals. However the staff were lovely.

8 days, first was high-pressure sales for memberships. Room was great, food was good, dress codes for dinning are inconsistent would be nice if they had better top call dinks.

I broight my mom in a wheelchair to this trip and the staff couldn't be more helpful, kind and warm! Food was very good, nice facilities the view from our room was incredible! The beach excellent, I will definitely come back and recommend to my family, the staff has the best customer service ever!

The people excellent. Food, amenities, the make you feel like home. Never thought cancun and that hotel was gonna give me an unforgettable experience in my life. Definitely coming back and I will choose the same hotel. I hope same staff is working there when I come back

We had an amazing stay at the Grand Park Royal. We got an upgraded room for being an Expedia VIP which was amazing we had a perfect ocean view from the top floor room. The hotel was also able to offer and upgrade to others in out group for a reasonable price they all loved the rooms too. The only negative I would say about the room was the mini bar, it had pops and waters but only two beers total each day. I realize I could get beer from any of the many bars but if we just wanted to sit and have a relaxing drink on the patio my wife and I could only enjoy one each. Also there was no liquor mini bar like I have had in other Cancun resorts, but again this was a small thing in an overall amazing room. The food at all of the restaurants was awesome the buffet was changing daily for breakfast and lunch. We had meals at all of the reservation restaurants, twice at the Italian one, and they were some of the best we have had at resorts. The staff was amazing all of the bartenders and waitstaff were very friendly and positive. The activities staff were awesome getting people involved in volleyball, waterpolo and other games. The cleaning staff had our rooms cleaned and ready very quickly often as soon as we were finished with breakfast. I really can't say enough about this resort we had an amazing time and of all the all inclusive resorts we have been to this is definitely top of the list and one we definitely hope to return too.

great resort: comfort, staff, food, beach & pools
