Overall a good experience. I would rate it a 4 out of 5. The hotel is clean, the staff is always nice and helpful. The restaurants are ok, one Italian, one oriental (Lupita, the manager is a very nice person, always ready to accommodate the clients) one restaurant with grill and steak ( we did not try it, my wife is vegetarian) and a Mexican restaurant. They should consider getting more diversity in wines - just one red, one white and one rose. The beach is nice and clean, and the hotel management appear to be hands on in keeping the standards.

I was very pleased with my stay, everything all inclusive, free to drink and walk around. And the standard room allowed you to still have an ocean view.. Highly recommended.

great place for my girlfriend and I to escape too. Food was great, people were friendly, and facilities were clean. Only recommendation make dinner reservations early.

Check in was way too slow. There was always a rush at the front desk. When checking in, got a sales pitch which we declined. The Mexican restaurant was good. The "free" airport shuttle never confirmed and never showed up. Overall would say not the best experience but not the worst either. The staff is pleasant but not overeager to please.

What an amazing place!! The staff were all super friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned and re-stocked every day, the food was always so good, and the alcohol was never not strong enough (; Plus there’s all kinds of things to do around the resort and we were only a 20-minute walk from the downtown area! We would definitely stay here again!!

After reading many great reviews regarding this resort, I was looking forward to my experience at this resort. However, entering the room, found a double bed when a king was requested. Mind you, I was told at the end of my stay that my room was an upgrade to beach view, but at my height, a king would have been much better. As well, a phone call at 5:15am the next morning letting me know they were going to move me on Thursday (last day full of my stay) would happen. I preferred to stay where I was at. Food was great taste, altho felt sick from the first nite there to the end of my stay. Had missing ingredients for Mojitos middle of my stay. One of the most popular drinks at any resort in Cancun, and there aren't any mint leaves to be found. Uncomfortable chairs at the beach and at the pools. The weather was wonderful and when I ate, the food did taste good. Not quite sure I'd be recommending this resort to many friends here in the states.

Have s good time at this resort . The pools were clean. The room was nice and clean too. The resort gave us nice upgraded room with great view of the ocean .Food was ok could be better. Over all nice place to stay .😎

Pros: Nice layout to hotel. Food was good/ average. Staff was very helpful. Beach was beautiful. Location was great close to everything. Nice walking areas outside hotel heading north. Bus stop close by. Cons: shows at night were pretty bad/low quality.

Great hotel located right between the downtown bars and the big mall. 4th time staying here and it's just as good if not better than all the other times. A true all inclusive, with at least 3 restaurant/meal options at any given time throughout the day. Also has 24 hour room service, 2 big pools with bars, a decent gym with full steam room and sauna. Also, extremely friendly staff that we recognize and a few even recognized us from 18 months ago. Once you go to this hotel, you will not stay at another hotel in Cancun.

As soon as we walked into the hotel we got a whole bunch on free upgrades Including room!!! Very friendly stuff at the lobby, couldn’t wish better!!! An hour later a bottle of shampagne was delivered to our room. Didn’t have any issues with making recervations at the restaurant. Food was tasty and all inclusive buffet full of seafood and local desserts. Definately will keep in mind this hotel when booking our next trip to Mexico!!!))))

Nice hotel, beautiful view Hotel at beach. Restaurant service very good and food is excellent. Just don’t like they try to sale the packages vacation for 30 Years plan in an hour and half orientations.

Grand Park Royal Cancun pampered us for our entire stay. From the front desk, through the maintenance staff, waiters and bartenders, everyone did everything to make our stay pleasant. Additionally, their beach facility and pool arrangement was large and superior to most we saw along the beach. In the all-inclusive arrangement, the food was excellent and plentiful. While I declined the introduction to being a member, by the end of my stay I would consider it as this is only one of their resorts and if they are all managed as professionally, it could be worthwhile. This was my first trip to Cancun and now that I know the logistics of the area I look forward to returning.

Everything about this hotel was good - including location, beach, facilities, cleanliness, food and events. The only issue we had was that they provided a room with double beds even for couples! Even upon request, there was nothing they could do.

The hotel is very nice and the service is exceptional. However I wish we would have known that families with little kids have many fewer choices. Kids are not allowed at the Oriental restaurant for dinner, the Prime Rib for dinner or the Italian restaurant for dinner. Also kids are not allowed at one of the pools that has the swim-up bar and infinity pool. So options for kids were limited. We still had a good time though and the food at the buffet was fairly good. The Taco snack bar had some really great authentic tacos! Drinks at the bars were good. The beach is amazing, clean and plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas. The entertainment was alright. I felt like they disappeared a lot during the daytime peak hours and repeated the same entertainment day after day (bingo, beach volleyball and 'fashion show' which was just a ruse to get you to buy clothes). I would have liked to see more varied entertainment activities especially more for kids. Nighttime entertainment was hit or miss, just average.

I had a great time with my family this Christmas at Grand Park Royal. It was my first time at Cancún and they made it a very pleasant one.

Very convenient location and the beach was beautiful.

Warm welcome upon arrival. Check in was later but we were given full access to all the amenities. We enjoyed the pool with the swim up bar. Fransico was a wonderful bartender. The buffet was great. Great variety. The staff was friendly and courteous. We would definitely make this somewhere we would return to

Overall a good experience. I would rate it a 4 out of 5. The hotel is clean, the staff is always nice and helpful. The restaurants are ok, one Italian, one oriental (Lupita, the manager is a very nice person, always ready to accommodate the clients) one restaurant with grill and steak ( we did not try it, my wife is vegetarian) and a Mexican restaurant. I was very pleased with my stay, everything all inclusive, free to drink and walk around. And the standard room allowed you to still have an ocean view.. Highly recommended.
