Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe All Inclusive

After returning from our 5th trip staying at Grand Park Royal we can not wait to plan our next trip. This resort is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The entertainment staff keeps you busy during the day and at night with different activities. Their Michael Jackson Tribute show is defiantly a must see! Can not wait to see what they have planned for the future.

We recently returned from a 4 night stay trip with some friends. The hotel staff was amazing! Everything from check in to check out was great. Felipe at the front desk was incredibly helpful. Our friends stayed in the Villas, which I would highly recommend. The personal butler service was well worth it! Roberto was so kind and always willing to help.

When we arrived we were quickly whisked away and talked into listening to sales presentation which was only supposed to take 90 minutes, but ended up being over 2 1/2 hours. We booked an ocean view room, but all we could see was palm trees from the first floor balcony. We complained and the next day they moved us to another room with a beautiful view, and gave us a honeymoon package. The rest of our stay was very nice. Skip the sales pitch and enjoy the beach.

Hotel was kept very clean. Was disappointed with the room we received. I requested a 1st floor room and called and verified twice before our stay that we were on the 1st floor. When we checked in we were on the 6th floor. Hotel staff checking us in was not accommodating and did not seem to care that we paid extra for this room choice. There are also not a lot of chairs out on the beach. We got up early to get chairs and there just were not enough to go around. Food was great! Bartenders were great! Would go back but would not upgrade next time due to the problems we had this time.

This resort is in a great location, walking distance to shopping and bars. The beach is beautiful with white sand, and clear water.

Great location, probably has the best beach along the resort row in that area. Clean, beautiful water, and plenty of room. You can walk to shopping either along the beach or on the sidewalk. You can watch the sunrise every morning, and the sunset on the rooftop bar. We had 15 in our group, and everyone was satisfied. Came home all relaxed!!!!!

Amazing! Second time we've been there and they never disappoint.

As many reviewers have said, the service at the hotel is impeccable. Everyone from reception to the bartenders and servers were all fantastic and upbeat. Our group did tip well so I imagine that made a difference. The hotel is in a great location, the beach is absolutely spectacular. We spent all of our time at the "relaxation" pool which was a beautiful infinity pool with a great view of the ocean and a fantastic swim-up bar. The other key thing is this pool gets sun all day. I was with a heavy drinking group and the bartenders are very willing to make strong (and good) drinks. Semi-premium alcohol (Absolut, Bacardi, Jack Daniels at the main bars...Belvidere and Grey Goose at the rooftop bar at night). I stayed in an ocean front room. It's a bit of a walk to the lobby, but the rooms are nicer versus the standard rooms and it's closer to the relaxation pool, Italian restaurant, gym and rooftop bar. Small fridge in the room that is stocked with water, soda and beer, but no snacks. The food was okay. Highlights include the pizza corner near the pools (great for daytime snacking) and El Jardin where you can get nachos, burgers, chips, etc. The buffet was okay. Breakfast is the best out of all of the meals. We made reservations for the Asian and Italian restaurants. Both were okay and nice if you wanted a seated meal. At the end of the day, it's a great hotel for the cost. You can use Orbitz discount codes making it very affordable. We had a great time.

Our hotel stay was awesome and we can say the hotel staff worked so hard to make everything nice.

Great hotel! Love that it was walking distance to nightlife, shops and malls. Felt very safe in the area. Would get a little boring at times bc they cut music and shows off by 10:30pm and rooftop is open until 1am but the music sucked and felt like I was at a spa. Overall it was a good time, staff was nice. I HATED the part where they try and sell you a timeshare! I'm not there to listen to deals, I'm there to vacation and those 90minutes are wasteful! That part was very annoying, they don't know how to take NO for an answer! I had to walk away from the guy. Another annoying thing is that men must have sleeves on for dinner! I get it for the restaurants but at the buffet line? Really? After a long day of drinks, sun and fun the last thing you want to do is worry about wearing the wrong shirt to the buffet dinner! Ridiculous! Other than those 2 annoying items- the rest was fabulous! Would return again to the resort.

I booked this resort as a last-minute getaway and ended up being really pleased with everything. There are so many resorts to compare, and this one definitely came out on top for a great value. They didn't have the exact room configuration we requested, but offered to upgrade for free to one of the tower rooms - which was separate from the main building, nice and quiet, yet steps away from the beach and a second pool/bar area that seemed to have less kids. After checking in, they wanted to give us the timeshare tour, but we declined. Food at the two restaurants (Italian and Mexican) was average - lots of variety, and definitely did not leave hungry or thirsty! I'd recommend this resort to anyone - grounds and buildings were well-kept, and staff was friendly.

We stayed in villa. It was wonderful! Nice view; good service: sandy beach; quiet place!

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Not a day went by that we weren't impressed with somebody in the staff - in the buffet, restaurants, bars, pool area, cleaning and maintenance, even the bands in the buffet restaurant. Our 1 year old grandson was treated like a king - of course, he is really cute

Close to beach upgraded not sure if it was worth the extra 50 per night no real extra amenities but a tub in the room and closer to beach ,,, property was very well maintained bartenders didn't seem happy or eager to make nice cocktails just strong ones no flavor and make sure u put a towel out or by 10 u won't have one restaurants u need to have a sleeved shirt to enter all of them women can let it all hang out but men can't wear a tank top

Ok, I'll provide a very detailed review in hopes that others can avoid some of the downfalls in the future. The Good: -Hotel Staff- Every last employee had a smile and a kind greeting upon interacting with them. The pool waitresses, the front desk staff, and Antonio at the Italian restaurant were awesome. -The View- Our room provided an incredible view of the ocean. -The Italian Restaurant- The food and ambiance here was easily the best on the property. -The Bathroom- Huge shower with three heads, very spa-like. The Mediocre: -The Food- Definitely not first class, I'd call it decent at best. The buffet was well below average. -The Bars- The lobby bar was depressing, the roof top bar was dead.....the swim up bar is what it is. -The Beds- They were very hard, sheets were cheap and starchy. The Bad- -Food/Drink Availability- Not enough places to eat and drink throughout the day. The pizza available by the pool was basically freezer pizza popped in an oven. The Horrible- -Adjoining Room- Our room had a door to facilitate adjoining (which we didn't need), and provided ABSOLUTELY NO sound insulation. DO NOT accept a room capable of adjoining. -Walkways- Nearly impossible to walk on the uneven ground with heels....according to my wife.

Hotel staff was very pleasant. Hotel needs remodeling.

We were there for a week and was our first time in Cancun. I have only good things to say about the staff at Grand Park Royal and about the property in general. The staff was super friendly and customer oriented the service was excellent. The property is cleaned and very well maintained, the room was cleaned and the pool area was great. We've been to many places in the Caribbean area this place was by far one of the nicest....we will return here for sure.

I will start by saying the food is good, location is convenient and the place was very clean. Most of the staff members are super friendly and courteous. One of the things that I did not like was the fact that I booked a room with a King bed, and all my rsvp papers said I will get a King bed. When I finally get to the hotel, they gave me 2 beds and when I called the front desk I was informed that they only guarantee the room type (ocean view, street view..) not the beds, and that was pretty much based on availability. And if I wanted to change room, I should go the next morning to ask if there was a room with King bed available. I didn't go because I felt, I should not go and ask, they shouldve just given me what I made reservation for. So, 3 days later, I received a call asking me about some reviewed I posted online about the room, I explained it to that person and he said Expedia explains that only room types is guarantee and I told him that I booked through Orbitz. He asked if I wanted to change my room now. But it was too late, I was leaving the next day. Besides that, everything else was fine, had a good time. Only suggestion will be to have more entertainment activities at the Theater like a show perhaps and have a gaming room or club. There are a lot of malls and clubs not far from the hotel, maybe walking distance. But not everybody wants to leave the premises at night time to go have fun or party. Pool and Jacuzzi closed at 9pm and bar/cafe at 1am. No dancing lol

It was a wonderful time.. All of the employees at the resort were very nice and very helpful.

Overall staff was friendly, food was good. Rooms were nice. Had a leak in our toilet but maintenance came and fixed quickly
