I expected better at a Marriott. I had some issues getting my room cleaned before 3 pm despite it not being a busy hotel. As the maids were cleaning I sat down in the empty bar area at at table to watch the baseball playoffs. The server came over and told me if I didn't order anything I could not sit there. I had already spent over $1K on the 4 night stay and didn't feel like eating or drinking at 3 pm in the afternoon. He refused to allow me to rest there while his hotel was late cleaning my room. Absolute BS. Just not service oriented.
