Staff not on same page, not friendly and rude. Managers were rude and not available.

Lacking a few amenities, but good value for the price

The entire room smell like smoke. Slow check in...

No dishes in room so you have to request them when you need them. The only thing we needed apart from cups (no glasses available) was a bottle opener.... They didn't have one for us! That pretty much sums up the service. And forget about the "includes breakfast" they ran out of coffee and only provided muffins/granola bars! Oats.... Nothing else. Very disappointed but I suppose you get what you pay for!

Horrible , bugs, dirty, smoke filled environment. Inattentive staff

Stayed at hotel while visiting Seattle and attending the Kenny Chesney concert. Even though we had our own vehicle we still used other transportation options to avoid event parking cost and overall downtown traffic congestion. The hotel's location was convenient and close enough to make our stay worth while.

The hotel was very dirty, hair all over the bathroom and bottom of the toilet and the room overall wasn't very tidy, no shampoo in the bathrooms, and the place was in a very unsafe area. I did not feel safe going back at night, but managed with the place until I saw a bed bug on the morning of my third night there. So I proceeded to check out and called the front desk which they were able to refund my last night but not the nights that I had stayed, but not I have had to take a trip to the doctor and put hydrocortisone all over my body due to all the bed bug bites

Nice hotel, a little north of Seattle, but only took 14 minutes to get downtown - not bad at all!

My trip to Seattle was well complemented by my stay at Extended Stay America. The hotel was well placed near to Aurora Ave North and had all the basic facilities to ensure that the stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Very dissapointed with the hotel. Bad location. the hallway was smelly. My husband had to pickup the kitchen supplies and bring them to the room. Our bed had lots of hair. There were all kinds of stain on the towels. AC in the room were not working. We reported problems to the front desk, they promised to sent someone to take a look but never showed up.

I booked this hotel many months before our family vacation to the northwest. Our family arrived late one night after attending a Mariner's game. Upon arriving, I was told the hotel had canceled our reservation because they were overbooked and did not have any available rooms. The manager came out and spoke with me. She informed me that she could get us a room at a different location about 10 miles away. Being it was 10:30 PM and we had sleeping children in the car, we just needed to find a room. We arrived at the other Extended Stay America and checked in. When we arrived at the room, we called the front desk to check on the baby crib that we had requested. They informed us that they did not have baby cribs at this hotel (which we were guaranteed). We tried to find another hotel at this point, but were unsuccessful. So my husband and I were up all night with a screaming 14 month old. Worst hotel experience ever.

If you are looking for somewhere affordable to stay in this area, it works, but it's really for work travel as there are few amenities and it's not a "fun" location (behind a grocery store). But, it's safe, comfortable, and fine for that kind of travel. You do need to be aware that because it's extended stay, there's no housekeeping if you stay less than 7 days. Front desk staff perfectly functional but not friendly.

No cribs or pool as advertised on this website. Nice thing is the stovetop for preparing some meals.

Actual location of property is ok- in an industrial park. However, the access to the express lanes is very handy for commuting to downtown. Room needed to be cleaned more thoroughly. Kitchenettes had lingering food smells (fishy) that could easily be remedied with your own smell neutralizer.

was wonderful. checked in at 11pm left at 9 am. the night auditor was extreemly curtious and funny. nice breakfast surved as well.

Found the location to be convenient, room was very clean and quite comfortable! Would have been great if we had planned an extended stay! Loved the kitchenette! Bed was very comfortable. Definetly would stay there again :)

I was drawn in by the pet policy, convenient location for my overnight needs, and the lower than average price for this class of hotel. It met all those needs but I found 1 thing to be worth a warning to other potential guests ... the pervasive cigarette smell. I requested a non-smoking room upon check-in but as soon as I got off the elevator on the top floor, the smell of stale smoke hit hard. Unfortunately, it was even worse when I got to my 'Non-smoking' room. I dealt with it for the night but couldn't wait to get out of there the next morning. As far as the other usual review topics - the night receptionist was friendly and check-in and check-out were seamless. The room was 'clean' and was obviously recently refurbished by the look of the carpet and newer kitchen/bath floors. The bed was on the hard side but the 3rd floor did provide the quiet and darkness I needed for a decent nights' sleep. The neighborhood is safe enough, but not where I would suggest taking a walking tour. Several conveniences in the area but no destinations and nothing interesting to look at on the main drag but people in their cars. Bottom line, if you're a smoker (by the way - I am too) and don't mind the smell of indoor smoking, go for it - this place will probably suit you fine. If not, you will probably be VERY uncomfortable.

The hotel room is nice, clean and new. The kitchen provided plates, silverwares, mugs, it was nice to have them with the kitchenete.

A good place to crash if you are visiting Seattle, specially if you are joined by girls interested in shopping since it is located on the north side near a mall and on the way to Premium Outlets on the I-5 highway. Just a good place to crash; nothing special about it or the surroundings. You need a car to get there.

I came to seattle for a sporting event downtown, and this place was in just the perfect location for it. You can get on the interstate easily and your a block away from Aurora St. which took us right to the stadium, and helped us avoid the traffic.

Thanks so much for selecting our hotel while visiting the Northgate area. We appreciate your feedback, and we apologize for the less than hospitable service you received and that we didn't have the supplies you needed. We usually receive positive feedback on the value of our complimentary grab and go breakfast, it is disappointing it was not to your satisfaction. Having you back as our guest would be an honor, we invite you to come and stay with us again. General Manager
