Nothing exceptional but nothing bad. Good hotel for good price.
Right next to the highway so was a little noisy. The heater made a noise when starting and stopping so it would wake us up several times at night. Staff was all very friendly.
The rooms were clean and modern. Bathroom was a little small. This hotel is located near a busy highway with lots of traffic. It's close to everything we wanted to see such as Sea World, Olde Town, Seaport Village and La Jolla. Had a nice pool area and restaurant. Target and several restaurants just across the interstate.
Arrived to check in early to get ready for a wedding. Room was ready however it felt like we were being punished for arriving before actual check in time! Dirty wine glass was outside of our hotel door room when we arrived, the view was overlooking the empty pool which front desk did not mention that the pool and jacuzzi was not available. Bar did not open until 4:00 which is ridiculous being that about 100 people wanted a drink while getting ready before the wedding. Also the air conditioning was not working, felt like the heater was on the entire day and night.
Amazing hotel with many stores nearby and plenty of food!!
We loved the hotel! The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the Sheraton has such a great staff. Everyone was so nice.
Excellent hotel centrally located. Clean, nice pool area, quiet, and friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay. The charge for parking seemed unnecessary. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay!
Initially we were pleasantly surprised about the room - it was updated and spacious. But the cooling was inadequate - we could never get it to cool to the temperature we like (a reasonable 68) and on the second night the AC failed completely. Our family of 4 was awake at 3am, sweating in our beds. The entire hotel was without AC. It wasn't fixed until the next day. We were comped breakfast for it. My other gripe is that the sheets were rough as paper. Nice pool, though, and for the modest rate it was fine overall. Just needed better cooling.
I was allowed to bring my dog which was a big plus.
I stayed for a week to visit my college student. I was on the executive floor so I had breakfast included as well as evening Happy Hour, and included wi-fi, so that all helped. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was all freshly made and delicious. I assume it is the same food that would be at the downstairs restaurant. It would be worth paying for. They were having problems with their parking gates, so they just comp'd the parking. The bed was comfortable, the shower vigorous at all times of day, and all the electricals, including a fridge, clean and working. There were ample outlets, and those were easily accessible. My room had a balcony, which I sat on a lot. It could have used better seats as the cast aluminum was uncomfortable. The HVAC system in my room didn't appear to work. It was cool at night and stuffy in day...it pretty much tracked the temperatures outside. It wasn't really an issue for me, as I like it cool at night and I opened the balcony door during the day for fresh air and ventilation. I didn't report it til I checked out, so I can't say if they would have corrected it promptly. I did have a lot of writing to do, and the desk chair was squishy and way too low. Not adjustable either. Too bad, because it was a good deal to work at. The pool was clean and the temperature was pleasant. I didn't have kids, but many other people did. It was a good size and depth for family use. Towels are provided.
Hotel was great for everything EXCEPT coffee!! Need more coffe (this is for ALL hotels). Add more than two coffees per room!! Otherwise, great hotel experience!!
Stop quality can't believe the price for the buck. I would say this is a great location
Poor location and noisiest hotel I ve stayed in. Hotel shakes and vibrates from all the traffic on Interstate. Orbt Said breakfast for 2 is included when booking but it was not. Hotel charges for parking overnight fees. No free parking. Ended up being more than 200/night for mediocre experience.
Overall my husband and I had a great experience at the Sheraton. The staff was very friendly and we greeted right when we walked through the doors. We were quickly checked in with no issues. Our room was inviting and very clean. We chose this location because it was close to local shops and restaurants.
Hotel staff were great. Rooms were clean and nice pool area. Close to shopping and restaurants. 15 minutes from airport.
AVERAGE HOTEL, WIFI IS VERY SLOW. LOCATION WAS OK. I WOULD PREFER SOMETHING IN DOWNTOWN NEXT TIME.
The bed was so comfortable, it sleeping on a cloud.
A very pleasant stay!! Enjoyed every minute! Great location, beautiful hotel with good staff, room was nice and clean, and beds were perfect! Hotel location is close by the fashion valley mall where you can find great food and stores to shop at! :) I will most probably stay here again in my next visit to San Diego! :)
Enjoyed pretty much our stay at this hotel, accomodations and location are both very good.
I have stayed in almost all hotels of similar class in the area. Compared to others of the same class this is probably the worst. When you pay $14 for parking and $9.95 for wireless internet you pretty much pay the same as some of the good hotels in the area. Room was close to being called dirty with stains on carpet and the chair, amenities need definite upgrade. There was no in-room dining menu in the room and I had to call 4 times to get one because the phone will get disconnected because of some technical issues. The restaurant staff were great and food was fine. The hotel staff were courteous and friendly.
