Property was ok
The property is very convenient to the marina area. We stayed in #3501. DIdn't really like the separated bedroom area. It made the room seem small. Need more seating options in the living area.

The building in which we stayed (building A) was clearly an older building. The pillows were terribly uncomfortable. As someone with a disability, the walk to building A was quite far and the shower was not handicapped accessible.

For the price, I feel that people who book through Orbitz are given rooms that are less desirable. If your company wants my future business you ought to give nicer rooms to those of us who book through 3rd platforms. My room overlooked the air conditioning units. On the plus side it was quiet.
Hopefully it was just our room that needed a upgrade due to wear and tear and not the whole property. Our suite was big which was the reason why I booked that hotel but I haven’t felt an uncomfortable feeling sleeping in a property in a very long time. Our bathroom door was warping due to water damage, the tile and grout had some mold growing from it. After using the shower the tub spout kept running water without being able to close it completely. The front desk girl was nice but I really wished she would of done better judgement of sending us to a room that was half a block away. I was pushing a kart full of luggage with 4 girls to our room at midnight without her offering us any assistance. I’m sure with a property that big there could of been another employee there to help us out get our kart to our room. The heater was extremely loud and let out a moldy smell.

Everything is/was great about the Holiday Inn Bayside. I am very pleased i selected this hotel when I my flight delay caused me to miss my connecting flight so i needed to spend the nite in San Diego.
