Room is very old and dirty. Won't recommend. The area is kinda sketchy too

It’s $5 for parking. There is gated doors all around that you use your key to get in which is nice because the amount of go less that are around is insane and they seem to hang out a lot in the side wide at the entrance of the hotel. It gives it a very bad look. Hotel is perfect for what you pay for. The location is amazing literally 5min from SeaWorld. There is plenty of food options 1-3min away it’s awesome.

Everything is great about the hotel, whether it be the staff, cleanliness, and nicely secured access. The only bummer part is the fact they charge $5 a day for parking.

Quick check in For a non smoking hotel it was terrible to have cig smoke leaking INTO the room ventilation overnight

Definitely what you get for budget friendly which is what we were looking for. Hotel staff was nice, room was clean, but located in a rough neighborhood. Some people partying into the wee hours in the parking lot which echos into the rooms and had a naked transient in the hall one day looking through trash.

Awesome, this month will be 8 years we have been staying here every time we visit San Diego - this is our “go to” spot.

Horrible! The pictures/ description made it sound like a four star hotel. But, once I arrived I was charged for parking, and made to give a fifty dollar deposit that I haven’t gotten back yet. Even though I left almost immediately. The place was cluttered with drug addicts hanging out in the parking lot, two even accosted my lady. The rooms were in terrible condition and they stank so badly. There was no pool/ jacuzzi. The clerk was quite rude and I felt like i has been hustled. Bad area, bad service. I will never go through orbits ever again.

Not in the best place of town. Wouldn’t take a family there to stay if going to sea world. The lower level is caged up I would imagine due to the homeless and activities that go on around the area. The cage doors are noisy and people mill about all night long. Just a shady feeling over all plus getting charged $5 For parking In the hotel is ridiculous. Give it a 3

I stayed there before and didn't have to pay for parking. It was a pain to check in. For the hassle, I should have went to a more expensive hotel.

The neighborhood was a bit sketchy but we had no problems. Recently renovated and very nice. Very clean and well-presented. I take issue with the $5 / night parking fee that was added to our bill even though it was not disclosed on the Orbitz website. That's VERY flakey and should not be happening. It is simply a way to charge another $5 for the room by being sneaky and under-handed. There was only coffee at breakfast, not even the "pretend" breakfast that most places provide. I was aware there would be none when booking so I can't say it was a surprise, it's just a pathetic situation.
