Very nice for the price point. Staff very attentive. Didn't appreciate paying for parking. Food was good and not over priced. Restaurant staff were excellent every day went out of their way. Area has lots to do and close to beach and many restaurants and shopping.

The front desk was not ready to check us in on arrival despite having called them in advance. The AC in our room was not working in the crazy San Diego heat. It was a terrible experience all in all.

We stayed just for a night and our overall stay was great. The pool is very nice and the breakfast was good. Everything was really nice.

The room was mostly clean. There was a dark stain on one towel and the sheets, and some pieces of plastic clothing tags on the floor (looks like they maybe forgot to vacuum?). I was also in a room between two other rooms that can all connect, and this meant I could hear my neighbors easily. Its worth checking on this before you stay because I could hear everything my neighbors said and watched during the day. The staff was friendly and helpful, and helped me out with a few things that were not necessary but very much appreciated. The only real issue I had was that there are no fridges in the rooms. You can apparently ask for them if you're there long enough, but when you stay at a Hilton, you expect the basic room furnishings. I didn't even think to check if the room had a fridge because I've never stayed anywhere that didn't, so lesson learned! All in all, a decent place to stay, close to Torrey Pines beach, and far enough from the city that I was able to avoid traffic for most of my excursions.

Unfortunately, San Diego deems parking as a premium amenity, so all the hotels in our area charge for parking. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the food and restaurant staff! I was also in a room between two other rooms that can all connect, and this meant I could hear my neighbors easily.
