Location: 4 out of 5 The hotel is in a good location easy 10 to 15 min drive to major sites within San Diego. Easy access to downtown & beaches. The hotel is very close to the 8 freeway meaning easy access to major highway helping access and drive time. The down side is the hotel is right next to the freeway meaning freeway noise is pretty noticeable, however, not as bad as you would expect. Amenities: 3 out of 5 The hotel grounds are well kept. The pool and Spa are nice and in good shape. There is limited space for sun bathing but enough. There is also a gym. However it consists of 3 machines so if you would like to run or cycle it will meet those needs. No weights. Room: 2 out of 5 The room was in good shape. Simple, the beds were very uncomfortable. The hotel left a notice stating that the water would be shut off for the night. When it was turned back on there was issues with the hot water. I called the front desk to complain regarding the issue. The front desk stated that she was not aware of any issues but offered to have maintenance come take a look. The maintenance guy stated they had a lot of complainant regarding the issue. He said to run the sink on hot and turn the show to hot. It took about 20 mins to get hot water. The hotel to its credit did refund me for the days of my stay which the hot was an issue. Hopefully this issue would be solved and not be a problem for future guests.

The outdoor dining area was a pleasant surprise. The room was quite and comfortable

great location. good prices, staff very friendly. close to everything Downtown, old town, fashion valley. etc.

Check in very helpful. My first assigned room had a crying child next door, check in staff readily gave me a second room that was quiet and comfortable.

My girlfriend and I stayed here since we read good overall reviews and needed a place to just sleep for the most part as we were out and about all trip. When we got there the hotel room was run down and outdated. My girlfriend found greasy hand prints on the chair and door leading to the next room. The worst part about the trip and stay there was on the last night we had a bunch of rain and the hotel lost power. Everything we needed was affected. No air conditioner which lead to an uncomfortable last night as well as having to get ready in the dark in the morning. I know it happens from time to time, but when we went to check out of our hotel, the front desk attendant was rude and dismissive. Also, not to mention the walls in the hotel room were very thin and we were woken up multiple times by our neighbors and after calling down and the security guard paying them a visit, they kept being loud. This best western felt like I was back in my freshman college dorm. The only good thing I will say about it is that the location is great, but overall we will not be staying there on our next visit.

Check in time is horrible. Wasted my whole day. Was Told I could check in early then after waiting in the parking lot for almost 2 hours was told I had to wait until 4pm anyways. Wasted my vacation on that place. Rooms were dated but not horrible

Very fair price. Nice staff. I would definitely come back here. Close to everything.

Quick service. Hotel rooms are very basic with tiny bathrooms, which is expected with the affordable price. Lots of mirrors in the room. Overall not bad for what we paid for.

I booked this hotel because of how affordable it was and it looked nice/clean and close to the airport. The front desk was nice and the room was very clean.

Always happy to stay here. From the start, Bethany at the front desk very welcoming and helpful(just like she was when I stayed here for a week in September) Nice comfortable room with great amenities, Clean, quiet and nice. The 7 Seas Cafe always good-Harry and Desiree are very helpful. Really enjoyed my stay and I'll be back!

Hotel receptionist is very rude. Place looks scary in terms of safety.

Clean hotel for the price easy parking in the middle of everything and places

great. love the property. not sure why Orbitz making me type more. Enought characters now?

Great central location, free parking, free WiFi; Grounds, facilities, and room all in great condition; I highly recommend this hotel!!

Staff was very friendly. Rooms are very small and a little remodeling would help.

My husband and I were visiting friends in SD for one evening, and just needed an affordable 3-star hotel to stay in overnight. There are a ton of hotels on this street, and we got a great deal at Best Western Seven Seas. It was extremely clean and the bed and pillows were comfy! We happened to get in after midnight and it was colder in the room than we realized, and the room did not have any extra blankets, so we were cold - but it was an EXTREMELY positive experience. Could not believe the rate we secured for the level of cleanliness and quality we received.

Great value, clean, but air conditioner was a bit Noisy.

My bathroom door was squeaky and neighboring room had loud pipes when shower was taken at 7am in the morning.

Quiet and Decent size room for a couple of nights

It's old and needs updating ! Grounds are pretty , close to sea world

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay. We apologize for not meeting your expectations and will share your comments with our staff. We understand the night of February 27 was an inconvenience for everyone. We really appreciate your patience and understanding especially because the situation was not the fault of the hotel but rather due to severe weather which caused power outages and flooding in our area. The outage lasted for 14 hours and we did not experience any damage to the hotel and no guests or employees were injured in any way. There was staff and security on duty throughout the night. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you.
