Check in was easy but zero smiles, no welcome, hardly any eye contact, very dry and matter of fact service at the front desk (not a huge deal). First room they put me in smelled heavily like pee and the air was heavy and the smell was too overpowering to ignore. The phone in the room was not working so I called the front desk on my mobile. After 10 minutes of waiting, I walked to the front desk when I entered one of the two young ladies was helping another guest. Once again, no acknowledgment of a new gueat having walked in and zero eye contact (these things are hospitality 101). The ladies at the front desk seemed to know the person being helped because there was small talk going on between them such as asking the guy if he was married etc. I waited there awkwardly for another 5 minutes until I was called up. First thing I asked: "do you ladies hear the phone when it rings here at the front because I've been on hold to speak with you now for around 15 minutes". Then the one lady looked up at me and gives the old 'I was busy helping another person', then the other young lady who was involved in most of the chatter with the other guest, peaked her head around the small cubicle they have and said: "AND I was on break, sooo'. I was then assigned a new room. The new room also smelled of pee but I was too tired, I ignored it and went to sleep. Hot tub also not working properly (next day). Clean your rooms and retrain staff. I will not stay here again. Best of luck.
