Nice friendly staff and very accommodating. Flew all night to get there and had room ready a little early for us.

Shower had mold. Fridge was not even cold. The bathrown door was annoying because it would not stay open. Would not stay here again.

The pool was a great relief after a long day in the sun but it needs to be cleaned more often. My body was covered in other peoples hairs. The hot tub was had yellow water and needed maintenance also.

It's even better than before and the value is better than anything in San Diego. The neighborhood is safe. The friendliness of staff is a 10. They hire excellent people.

The hotel was in a good location for minimal travel (30 minutes) to many local attractions including LaJolla, Seaport Village, SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo and San Diego Safari Park.

Nice clean quiet hotel, stay there often when in SD

Just off the freeway (I15) so easy in and out. Stay was quiet and nice, hotel staff attentive, nice and informative. Overall this would be a place I would stay again.

Well located for the events we were attending. Staff exceptionally nice. Food was good at breakfast. Room air conditioning was noisy and irregular.

First off you can't see the hotel from the street, it's tucked behind other office buildings in a business park. Second, although clean, the interior of the rooms is dated. Finally, it is an excellent value...$150 for a one bedroom suite.

Most comfortable bed in this class of hotel. What you give up, though, is free breakfast.

After a long day of travel across the country and a drive from the airport all I wanted to do was check in and sleep. Time change was alredy hitting me. When I got to the hotel, late that night, I was greeted by the front of house staff immediately and cheerfully. Check in process was smooth as silk, and while waiting I was offered cold refreshments. The room is spotless and comfortable. Mini fridge, Kuerig Single Cup Coffee maker and Tea! Nice work area for the laptop. Pillows were terrific and swallowed me right up. Great rest that night. Breakfast was served hot with Omelettes cooked to order. I was a happy man!

I did not get to stay for 2 nights. I was asking to be moved to a room with 2 beds and they were not able to do so. the hotel location was too far from the beaches or downtown activities.. There was nothing to do for the young teens and young kid that came with me. We were so cramped in the one king bed room and so I ended up cancelling my second night and did not get any refund at all. We moved to LA and stayed in a different hotel for the second night of our trip. This is my worst trip I've ever had so far. I will also not booked thru a third party again.

I enjoyed the location. It was convenient for my business travel. Didn't deal with the staff really so no complaints.

The hotel location was great for me since I was there for business and it was located close to where I needed to be. When checking in the employee was on the phone with a customer and there was someone else behind me waiting to check in. After being on the phone for a few minutes she asked the customer to hold on. She checked me in but didn't tell me anything. I knew nothing about the dining area or anything about the hotel amenities or anything else about the hotel. I would rather of waited a few minutes longer while the employee finished on the phone then be rushed. I felt rushed as well and couldn't ask questions.

Excellent hotel for the price. Unbeatable in San Diego. The two only drawbacks are: the location is far from downtown and the airport, although is extremely easy to get to. The hotel itself is a maze. It took me a few minutes to find my way back to the lobby. Parking is plentiful and included. I recommend this hotel if you drive to San Diego, But if you are flying and don't have a rental car, you may want to find a different location.

the only thing was the breakfast was not part of the deal, other then that its a good hotel, comfortable stay , good location, lots of near by restaurants

My wife and I went to San Diego for a few days. The Hilton Garden Inn is a great hotel. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. I want to thank Mike at the front desk who took care of us our entire stay. He was courteous and genuinely concerned that all of our needs were met. Thank you Hilton for wonderful experience

Nice hotel but I am used to having complimentary breakfast. The motel did not have one so we would have to go downtown to eat breakfast.

We stayed two nights at this hotel end of Dec. 2013. The hotel is very clean, very conveniently located, and has quite a few amenities. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only complaints we had was that the first night we had very noisy neighbors in the room right next door. The doors slammed shut every 5 minutes and they had young children running up and down the hallway and even knocking at our door by mistake. So that was annoying. Also, would recommend requesting a top floor room as we were on the first floor and heard footsteps constantly. Also, there was no vent in the bathroom which made for a steamy experience with no way to even prop open the door to let the steam out for the next person. Other than that, this was a great choice and very reasonably priced.

We had a great stay. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our Families needs , like the microwave and frig.
