A $40.00 withdrawal to my credit card as s deodot, $13.00 for parking not mentioned in the ad. The room was unnatractive and the headboard was loose and banged every time I moved.

lets start with the room itself. It has not been updated in many years. The carpet was old and stained. The ceiling around the air conditioning vent was very dirty. The bed was pretty hard. After returning from dinner our room cards didn't work. I walked a long way to the front desk and the cards were supposedly fixed. I had to wait a while at the front desk because other people were having the same problem as me. Went back to my room and guess what, the cards still didn't work. Walked back to the desk again and this time a maintenance man was sent to fix the problem. Why didn't they just send him the first time? When we finally got back in the room we noticed that it was pretty warm. Turned the AC down and nothing happens. Only warm air comes out. Called the desk and another maintenance man was sent to our room. By this time we were pretty upset and asked if we could have another room. No other rooms available we were told. The maintenance man tried to fix the AC, he had to access a crawl space above the ceiling. He couldn't get it to work properly. We were given a stand fan to help. We would not have stayed except it was getting late and we were travelling with an animal and it would have taken too long to find another pet friendly hotel that night.

For me the hotel was adequate everything I needed. Cocktail bar ( great Bartenders), Good restaurant ( service a little slow), good size pool, shuttle to airport. Housekeeping is disappointing. This was our second visit to the hotel and for the second time they forgot to clean our room.

easy check in, clean room and very good sushi bar in lobby. Paying 14.00 a day to park a little excessive. Overall nice experience

Room average Hotel below average High price for nothing

Hotel was comfortable & convenient to all location. Service was adequate. Had problems with housekeeping. Besides for the price, it was very good.

Below average for the price... $180+$13 parking per night. The front desk staff were not the friendliest. I waited in line for awhile both to check in and out i was the only one waiting. There's nothing impressive or exceptional about the room including the bathroom, the elevator, the halls and the pool looKS and feel dirty. The quality of motel 6 (no offense to motel 6) the name of "Crown Plaza" is very misleading. I don't recommend it.

I was at the hotel for a 2 day conference. Breakfast and lunch were provided. Overall food was good. The room was clean but extremely hot, unable to regulate the air conditioner, no cool air coming in so I opened the terrace door, no refrigerator, no coffee maker,is that an added amenity with incidental fee? Location was good.

Nice beautiful view. Overall good experience. The bar lounge was a perfect ending to the dAy.

Upon arrival, this hotel brought me back to the 1970s. It definitely needs a facelift.

The hotel is located close to all major attractions. And The landscape and pool are wonderful, however the rooms, yes rooms. (We had to switch rooms because the air conditioning, and safe did not work.) The hotel finally sent maintenance to look at the unit, only took 4 calls and almost an hour, and half, but when he arrived, he took the temperature of the air conditioning unit and said the unit worked just fine, then he offered us a fan, but never returned with one. Called to have maintenance again, only had to wait 45 minutes this time. And this repair man said the air conditioning was broke, and we could move rooms. So we Switched rooms, and the air conditioning barely worked in there as well. The temperature was only 105 degrees outside. Disappointed, our concerns were not taken seriously.

Had to keep the door locked and hatched, the cleaning lady had a bad habit of just busting thru the door in the mornings and scaring my children.

Very comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a strategic location to all the places we needed to visit.

We decided we would stay the night in San Diego on the same day we booked our room at the Crown Plaza. This hotel did not disappoint. Our room was clean, spacious, quiet and the staff were truly friendly. They delivered a crib for my son very promptly and gave us drink vouchers. The only complaint I would have is the breakfast buffet. Food wasn't so good but highly expensive. Either way, I would definitely go back.

we were surprised friendly staff, very clean comfy large room. Close to beach ! great pool we will be back! Loved the view and courtyard with the large trees and plants waterfalls ect , very nice.

Nice hotel, but had to pay to park there, great location but so are all of the other hotels in hotel circle

The location, right between Sea World and The Zoo, offers a great place to stay for trips like that. There are free shuttles to both attractions daily and the staff is wonderful. Not in the classiest of locations, but not in sketchville either. Two things I would have liked are a fridge in the room and a shuttle to the airport, but there could have been way worse things lacking. On site restaurants are good, but a bit on the expensive side, and not a lot you can walk to because of the highway. Overall, I liked it, and would stay here again.

We loved the lush scenery at the hotel and enjoyed the sushi bar as well! I don't like that they charge for parking, they should roll it into the room costs so I don't feel like I'm being nickle and dimed! Also they charge 9.95 per day for wifi! It's 2013, it should be included just like towels!!

We loved the beautiful garden area, pool and hot tub. However, having to pay for wi-fi should be a thing of the past. For the money, a complimentary breakfast should have been included. $5 for a cup of coffee in the restaurant?? C'mon

Room was very clean, grounds were nice, and location worked well being right off the 8 in Mission Valley. Recommended
