Nice clean rooms. Love this place my kids had a great time playing games
The hotel was a bit dated and not as updated as other locations. The housekeeping staff was not friendly at all. Though the activities for the kids was a plus.
We had our kids with us, so we assumed we would spend a fair amount of time in the arcade and pool. I guess I shouldn't of assumed they had a pool, because they don't. As far as the arcade goes. It doesn't open until 1pm. I don't know about you, but my kids are ready for action at 8 am. The arcade was fun overall. The room was clean and nothing was broken. If it wasn't just a stop on our road trip, I probably would stay somewhere else with a pool and visit Circus Circus next time.
We stayed here for one night on our way to Las Vegas. With two young kids I thought they would have fun on the Midway. After a long day of driving I was frustrated to wait over 25 minutes just to check in. I was a bit frustrated that I was charged over $12 for a roll away bed just for one night. I didn't mind the walk to the Sky Tower from the front desk, but then we waited for 3 elevators to go up to our room due to so many people waiting for an elevator with luggage. The room itself was as advertised, but there was mold in multiple places in the bathroom and the overall feel of the room was kind of dirty. I am not really a germ-a-phob but the tv and the remote had ground in dirt and grim that made me not want to touch them. I had read they offered room service but there were no menus in the room to order anything. I needed to call down to the front desk due to losing my credit card on the Midway, and discovered our phone didn't work. I eventually got it to work but similar to the tv remote, it just seemed grimy to the touch. Overall the kids had fun playing games, but we will not be returning again due to the overall run down and grimy feeling of the hotel. I found a good price for my night, otherwise I would have been very disappointed if I had paid full price for my stay.
Can't beat the price on a week day especially. We have a child so this place is great for that... needs a little updating but while we were there this time they were renovating. The room was pretty comfortable. The hotel itself is conveniently connected to a couple others
Not exactly the pics on line or decoration. Looks old and dirty no coffee pot to make coffee or fridge or microwave. Bathroom look really old and dirty
My reservation was not there when I arrived so they made me pay $80 and get another room
Great new clean look, friendly staff at valet Ann bell hop and front desk! Housekeeping on other hand rude! Had 4 people in room and argued only give us 3 towels then ordered roll away took 4 hours to get it! Dealers where all stuck up
Lacks signs for valet, registration parking for check in. (Got lost in big parking lot!) The valet stored our bags, when leaving and forgot to put my suitcase in our car..they are UPSing it to my house! Also did not know from conformation that our room was in the tower, across the street..had to upgrade to room above the casino because I'm 81 yrs, and bad hip.
Room service took a long time to deliver our food. Wasn't satisfied with the food either. Ended up throwing it away
Nice quite, clean hotel to stay during the week, but lots of loud, drunk California trash on the weekend. Great service from the gaming staff, but many bars and table games shut down during the week. Poor drink service.
My experience was good but the room has a problem with the fire sprinkler. They were tape. Not SaFe.
Woken up first moring at 6am by maid, who continued barging in after I said later. Called Front Desk, who said ' oh I dont know why they do that?' No apology. TV didnt work, took 3 calls before someone showed up. It seems the employee just stopped trying a ling time ago.
We were in town on business. We knew the weather might be bad, but it was very bad and we had to stay in the hotel/casinos for most of a week. The good things were that we could park our car in the valet and take it in and out away from snow and rain. The staff was very nice. There were many restaurants throughout the connected 3 hotel/casinos and it gave us a chance to walk around and stretch our legs rather that always being cooped up in our room. As a vegetarian, the food choices were literally limited to dinner salad or eggs. A lot of pizza and other bready things were available, but they seriously need to step up their game for vegetarians. Simple vegetable soup and veggie or bean burger choices would really help! Perhaps a fabulous Mediterranean and other non-meat salads too. Everything else had meat in it!! There was even chicken chunks in the broccoli soup!! I have never seen that before-it is not a good general choice anyway, but at least it's a vegetable soup. The worst thing was that we woke up on our 5th day, with 3 more days to go, to loud construction noises. Relentless sawing, sandblasting, drilling, etc. that went on and on. Finally, we went down to the front desk who explained they were doing repairs on the upper floors and that it was planned and would be ongoing!!! So, we had to move rooms!!! It was extremely inconvenient and took a chunk of our morning to pack up everything (we were there on business and had set up a temp office of sorts in our room)
hair laying around the restroom; found rubber band and garbage laying around the floor.
It was perfect for one night stay, we had a good time.
This hotel had a great location. Was in the middle of DT Reno. Room was very spacious & clean. I just wish there was a mini fridge ;)
No working TV in the room and when brought to their attention they didn't fix the issue or apologize for any inconvenience
They have a rude employer. They behave so bad. They gave used room. They didn't say sorry. Bad Services, bad room, bad things...
Disappointing customer service and hotel overall. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, so if you are looking for a budget friendly option this would be adequate. Comparable to a Motel 6 or Super 8, although, my bff recently rented at a Super 8 and they have really come up.
