This is a beautiful resort. The rooms are spacious and the pools are amazing. You feel like your in the middle of nowhere. Then you jump on the bus and get to town in 15 minutes. The beach is small but nice. The only thing that I would suggest is not being limited at the special restaurants. I will definitely be back!

Been coming here for a few years however this last visit there were WAY too many kids not properly supervised by adults. Too loud, service at restaurants was slower and some of the food not up to standard.

Items at the food buffet that were suppose to be hot were always cold, it made us wonder if that was the reason so many of us got sick.

Barcelo is a nice place, but we had $200.00+ stolen from our room safe out of our wallet. Filled out an incident report but nothing came of it. We are very disappointed and angry that this happened, We work very hard for our money and this ruined our vacation. I can not believe that this highly rated resort just let this go with no response.

Have to pay for wifi and room service. Maid service was very poor. Always took our towels and didnt replace them

The staff is very friendly and attentive. Grounds are well kept. Food is good. Felt very safe on resort and beach. Good location for multiple activities off resort.

Hotel was great, as advertised. Food was good but not spectacular.

We enjoyed our stay very much. However, room service requests were a little slow. My daughter asked for towels, and it took the staff 45 minutes to bring them to the room.

Beautiful facilities with updated rooms. Loved the pools and the beach. Stunning location.

We were really disapointed that we only spent the 1st night there, we moved to another hotel. When we made tbe reservation it was based on the pictures from internet and the good reputation of Barcelo's hotels. And we are not saying this, we have proof, we took pictures. It might have been a good hotel in the past but time and a not appropriate maintenance has caused impact on rhe infrastructure.

Maybe our best vacation ever ! 10 nights Premium level .Excellent room, the best pools, such friendly staff ,entertainment was good ,can't beat the grounds and location. A special shout out to the buffet restaurant .We ate there every night except one. All the staff at the Barcelo are gems. I love this brand. Coming back soon !
