The staff were very helpful, pleasant, and accommodating. The pool was refreshing and clean. The food was limited for our vegan diets and we found the snack bar to have the best lunch options for us. Only one of the two elevators in our tower worked at a time. A decent resort and if you come here get a tour with Jack Sparrow!

I think the hotel itself should have more English speaking staff. The staff looked at you like they understood and they just walked away and never did anything. It took us three days to get a washcloth. Anytime you ask them anything no one understood what you were saying they did not take American money we went to get pesos they couldn’t do it till 930 and our tour left at nine. The food was very Regimented to Mexico. I understand we were in Mexico but there’s a lot of American staying there.

Beach is very clean and nice and great for swimming when the water is calm - and it usually is so. The sand bed is pretty coarse with small rocks and not gradual -may be about a meter deep right as you make just a few steps into the water so when the waves are strong and coming you can easily fall and get pulled out and be a bit overwhelmed, and if you take it easy then it's fun. But if you have small children with you then just be very careful not to lose hold of them or they can possibly get drown when the waves are big .

Overall we like the hotel, the room were clean and spacious. The location is great, near a small port next to los Arcos. Also close to Yelapa waterfalls, the hotel (Jack Sparrow) offers boat tours to beaches, snorkeling places and Yelapa waterfalls. Easy access and we didn’t have to leave the hotel to take tour. The hotel is located within walking distance of a zoo, which we were able to feed animals like giraffes, moneys, and etc. It was a 15mins hike with great sceneries of the local town and a river. The hotel also offers free kayak at the beach, where we can see the famous los arcos. I used the hotel gym every morning, the staff is super friendly there and it was never busy. My two kids loved the kids club and the Disney show, the entertainment crew were great, offers kayak tours and games. All staffs were super friendly. The Spanish restaurant were my favorite, however I wish the hotel offered longer pool hours.

Beautiful propety. 7th floor ocean and property view.Staff was hardworking and almost all were friendly and happy..food was good, some room for improvement. Some restaurants staff could use some training...issues were minor but would improve experience alot..drinks were good. Overall great propety. 8 out 10. Would go back.
