This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Mexico. Nice staff, fun to be at the beach

We just love it here like coming home each year we come! Just got back this made # 10 for us we love it! We always great ocean front rooms that's the best !

Have stayed at all 3 of their properties many times over the past 10 years The location is terrific and kept in good condition but this time the service was disappointing even for a budget hotel. Don't let the check in staff charge you for what you booked they try to add $25 or $35 a night to make any changes even to get the 2 beds you reserved online. I have almost always booked on Orbitz and had good rooms but there are a few bad ones here. It's a nice, clean, local Mexican property in great location. Management may have changed, the staff seems unhappy and unhelpful generally. I have never seen them with enough check in staff at peek times although they have staff everywhere doing stuff. I hope the management sees this and makes changes to the service since I do love these properties. Would be disappointing to start using Airbnb or the many condos in the area. Still looking forward to my next trip.

This was our second stay at Playa Los Arcos and it was fabulous! The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean. Most rooms have an ocean view. The pool area is nice and we never were without a chair. You can't beat the all inclusive option. We used it for drinks, breakfast, lunch and snacks. We chose to dine out as there are literally hundreds of places to eat in old town and the food is to die for! The location is perfect -- beach, Malecon, shopping all just steps away. Love this hotel!

Checking in was easy, room small but nice, big bed, very clean. Loved the amazing view to the pool which also had a view of the beautiful ocean, at night very quiet. I loved it. Very close to shops, restaurants and the best the beach at the back of the hotel .... great experience. I will of course recommend it to anyone to stay here. Smoke free, family friendly... would love to stay at this hotel if coming back.

Remember, this is an old hotel and is not going to have the amenities of some of the new large resorts. The offset is the great location within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and other services. Our room was a superior double, located on the 3rd. floor. We had a nice view of the pool area and a slight ocean view. The room was not large, but was perfectly adequate for the amount of time we spent in it (basically sleeping) during a 7 night stay. The room furnishings and bathroom were worn and dated, however, very clean. We did the all inclusive and even though we ate most dinners off site, we felt it was a good value, based upon the all day availability of the buffet, beach/pool "fast food", and the drinks (does not include top shelf brands). We usually ate breakfast and some lunches at the buffet, and it was good for buffet fare. We especially enjoyed the restaurant's location overlooking the beach and water. It was very pleasant to stop in during the day or evening for drinks and snacks. There was nightly entertainment which was of average resort quality. The home made churros on Fiesta night were yummy! We utilized the spa services and found them to be reasonably priced (compared to other hotels/resorts) and the technicians were very pleasant and skilled. Service was not outstanding, but we never had bad service either. We made sure to tip all of the staff that provided service to us.

This is an older, but well maintained, hotel right on the beach. Our room had a view of the courtyard, with a balcony with chairs, and a table. We did not take meals on site. The hotel is located on the main street of the zone, with many interesting restaurants and shops near by.

Room was next to the maids storage room. Noise and loud talking. The refrigerator compressor made a loud pop every time it turned on. Tiny bathroom.

Great walkable location to restaurants, bars and downtown. The all inclusive is a great deal, food and drinks are very tasty. Hotel staff in very friendly and helpful. I've been coming here for years and they keep improving the hotel every year, I'm excited to see what will be new next year! Magda-concierge, Marta-front desk, Lupita-breakfast cook extraordinaire, Betulio-waiter, Lupita-maid are just a few of the staff that made our stay special. Thank you!

Had a wonderful time at Los Arcos Hotel we will come back next year and stay for a few weeks It was better this time we had great service. The food was good and the waiters were so nice and very helpful I will recommend this place to all my family and friends

We always stay at Los Arcos in Puerto Vallarta. You can't beat the location, which is next to the beach in the Romantic Zone, and there lots of restaurants and shops close by. There's a very nice pool which is great for kids, and we enjoy their buffet breakfast. The staff is excellent!

Another great stay in Playa Los Arcos. The staff is just phenomenal starting with Marta right at the reception, then the even planner Magda, and the army of staff who served us in restaurant and in bar, and also cleaned our room every day. They all make sure you feel like in home!

The hotel has a funny smell to it and the smell was really strong in the rooms (kinda like sitting water smell). The shower was pretty disgusting (mold on the curtains) and it was really dark in there. The floors are all tile. The buffet food was not that good. Many times there was not any food that I liked and I had to go elsewhere for food. It's a beautiful location right by the location but everything else was not good. I def would stay somewhere else next time.

Pro's: Nice pools (one is an infinity pool to ocean), partial ocean view balcony and hotel location. Con's: staff indifferent at front desk Assigned room very small Bed very hard Housekeeping is terrible Room is not clean Inside of room is terrible (cracking in walls, front door was stuck and had to kick it to open every time, wall lamp just hanging from wall, exposed wiring hanging down.....just too much to mention) Buffet

what we were promised in our pic that we booked was not it. we complained got a better room but with no balcony.. It is a great location were clear waters and great food and shopping..the people of the city were very charming and a delight. Next time we are going for a month and for what we paid 700.00 us dollars for a week we can rent an apartment for a month...

Ready to go back again next year.. Love the hotel, the people and really good services

A shout out to Victor, Oscar, Palimira, Adrian and Estaban for your excellemt service in a beautiful place

they put in a new pool and it's a great place where they put it right by the walkway

The hotel overall was wonderful. Great fun, staff, pool and beachside accommodations. Our only complaint was our room. It had a great location ocean front but we were on the ground flood and it felt like a cave. There was a constant musty smell of mildew and mold. Sometimes it was pretty overwhelming so we tended not to stay in the room too long. We asked our maid to see what she could do to fix the issue but I think she didn't understand us. Other than that Los Arcos was excellent.
