Playa Los Arcos is an older but affordable property in an unbeatable location. The property and rooms are showing their age but it is clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. Great location with many restaurants and a short walk to the Malecon. Property also appears to be family friendly. Would recommend if you are looking for a budget conscious vacation in a great location.

I won't stay anywhere else! Located in the middle of everything Vallarta! Out the front for shopping, intl dining, cafes...out the back for beach, malecon for morning evening walks, dining, etc. They also offer all-inclusive dining and drinks.

We did not like the lack of cleanliness overall, especially in the bathroom, very dirty floor, stains in walls, the toilet needs replacement. This hotel is very dated and needs urgent renovations. All curtains are cheap, dusty and stained. We like the beach front location, steps from the malecon with many restaurants everywhere.

Best hotel I could have picked. Right on the beach with a great big heated outdoor pool.surw the next ghborhood is noisy but that the city, it's full of life! So many great food options, Andales, Cafe San Angel were my favorites. The staff was very friendly, cleaned the room to perfection. I will be coming back

Los Arcos is in the old part of Puerto Vallarta but it was so quaint and amazing. They had so much to do to see the staff was amazing. Miguel was our main server and he made our trip 100 times better. I can’t wait to go back. I didn’t wanna leave.

Enjoyed a week-long stay with my teenage son in April. I thought I had booked the all-inclusive plan with Expedia but when we checked in this was not the case. It should be clearer in the booking process. Our room was on the top floor, with a large patio, which was great. The furnishings and general state of the room was very dated. Part of the hotel has been upgraded but we were in the section that wasn't. Loved the beach setup and the variety of pools. Food at the buffet in the restaurant was very good and there was always lots of variety. Restaurant service was poor, and it was often difficult to get any table service once we were seated. The area around the hotel is vibrant and busy, with lots to see and do.

They are in the process of updating rooms, if you’re unfortunate to get an old room-it’s pretty dated and tired looking. The rooms that have been updated are nice! Location is key, lots of dining options within walking distance, an OXXO on the corner for snacks etc.. beach is nice.

Busy area. Lots to do and places to eat. Bar by the pool. Easy to walk the beach front promenade (malecon) north to the main action. Felt safe as it was quite busy with tourists. Lots to do and see on the way.
