Location!! The size was smaller so it had a quaint feel to it. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond during an incident on February 21st in PV. Would recommend!!

El trato del personal fue, en general, poco amable. Únicamente el recepcionista que realizó mi check-in y el bellboy brindaron un servicio adecuado; fueron lo único rescatable de mi estancia. Al ingresar a la habitación encontré una cucaracha muerta y, en la regadera, un fragmento de vidrio, lo cual representa un riesgo serio para la seguridad del huésped. Un día después de mi llegada, impidieron el acceso a un familiar incluso a la sala de recepción. Me ofrecí a cubrir cualquier consumo, ya que únicamente me estaría esperando para salir, pero la negativa fue absoluta. El guardia de seguridad fue grosero y hasta me tronó los dedos para llamar mi atención, lo cual considero inaceptable. La recepcionista en turno mostró una actitud burlona, no ofreció ninguna solución y se negó a llamar al gerente; solo lo hizo cuando otro miembro del personal intervino. Para finalizar, el día de mi salida fue imposible abrir una cuenta para realizar consumos dentro de las instalaciones. En resumen: instalaciones descuidadas, falta de protocolos claros y un servicio deficiente. Una experiencia totalmente decepcionante.

The staff were helpful. It would have been nice to have more shade options other than the restaurant to sit at. There were 6 tables beside the pool to sit at but unless you were awake and there by 6:30 they were taken.

The food and service in the main restaurant were the worst part of the stay. The food was just nasty...cold congealed cheese, dry overcooked chicken, took over 30 min to get nachos, waiter was nowhere to be found. Everything in the hotel is kind of shabby and in need of repair, although it looks like it was once a very nice hotel in its heyday. Super rocky beach. Extremely slow elevators. They claim to have parking, but this means you have to walk around the corner and park in this fenced off basketball court. My car was ultimately fine, but I didn't exactly feel good about leaving it there.

Room was very traditional as we were in Mexico, we stayed in one of the cheapest room. Our room was quite, the elevator went down a few times during our stay. Server Ricardo was the best for afternoon and evening dining! Morning servers were not very attentive. Overall we had a great time, and I will go there again. We are planning our next trip to stay here at the end of this year.
Best Server! Ricardo gave us the best experience at Playa Los Arcos, made us feel we were special guests.

Stayed for 7 days. Room was cleaned every day. AC worked fine. I thought our rooms were spotless every time we came back in the evening. Old decor, but it’s fine as it has an authentic Mexican charm to it. Even though the hotel was right beside the NYE street party, I managed to get a good night’s sleep. Restaurant was okay, although the price is a little on the high end for what you get. I loved the happy hour drink special near the lobby— we went for them almost every day! Would I stay here again? Absolutely. If I’m not mistaken, Playa Los Arcos has the largest outdoor pool near the pier. I could not see another resort in the vicinity with a pool from the pier to Malecon. Their beach amenities and service was over the top. Thank you!!

We really enjoyed the resort. The location on the Malecon, the pool area, and the restaurant were great. We had an unrenovated room on the top floor. The top floor on that side had amazing terraces with 2 chaise loungers and a table and chairs. With the location of the sun it was incredible, and we spent all our time outside. Because of the extra big terrace, the room was tiny. 2 people couldn't walk past each other at the end of a bed. The bathroom and closet were tiny too, and all were outdated. BUT we decided that the terrace life and resort made up for it and would come back and take the same room. Loved all the restaurants in the area and the ocean walkway in front. Could use a coffee maker though and be aware the Snow Birds tend to stake out all the tables in the pool area by 8 AM.
