The staff are very profesional. Friendly. The food is GREAT The pools are clean You can tell the staff there really care about their job and the property’s upkeep. It’s definitely a must-come-back-to hotel. The top floor pool is amazing.

My room (206) was directly above the jacuzzi. I had to listen to loud voices for literally hours.
This was the third time we have stayed at the Grand Miramar. It has the very best view from the highest point in Puerto Vallarta. It is an upscale resort with 4 pools that were never crowded. We could eat dinner at the top of the resort overlooking a 180 degree sweeping view of downtown Puerto Vallarta and the entire bay. I am a birder and behind the resort are woodlands up to the top of the hillside. I have photographed over 30 new birds immediately around the resort. I have seen Trogons, parrots and various hummingbirds. Without exception every employee went out of their way to engage us and take care of any requests we had. A perfect vacation location. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't quite capture how magical this place is. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal - all of the staff made our stay truly enjoyable. We mostly used Uber to get around however we did make the beautiful walk down the mountain one day (wear good shoes if you plan to make this trek as it is rough cobblestone). Zona Romantica is a quick trip by car so we went each night for dinner to experience the town and expand our culinary options. Alam at the tour desk was very helpful in arranging a tour and transportation, as well as assisting with scheduling our covid test. Our junior suite room was very comfortable and incredibly spacious. We watched the sunset most nights from our balcony but I might spring for the jacuzzi upgrade next time (the one on property was a bit cool for our taste). In short, I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Puerto Vallarta! Book this gem!

Nestled on the side of the mountain in the beautiful neighborhood of Conchas Chinas, this resort is an absolute oasis for your Puerto Vallarta getaway. With only a 5-minute taxi ride, you're quickly in the heart of town for all of the restaurants and nightlife. And with a quick taxi ride back, you're relaxing in your spacious oceanview room with every whim and need at your fingertips. The staff is outstanding and extremely friendly, the food and drink are fantastic, and the room is well appointed. COVID-19 procedures were in full effect - masks worn in common areas, along with hand sanitizer and temperature checks. I'd highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the area.
The hotel calls itself luxury by the virtue of having very large rooms. Mind you, our massive room was the most uncomfortable place I could imagine. Imagine a giant place with stark white walls, nearly empty of furniture and decor, with horrific fluorescent lighting throughout. I felt like i was in jail (just a large empty cell). It was terrible. Also, smelled like insect poisoning, the locks on our sliding doors were either missing or broken (repeatedly), our washing machine didn’t work (and they knew it and placed us in the room anyhow), the staff was mostly unfriendly and entirely clueless. Worst part, it cost a fortune. Hellish.
