Everything right at your step. Service was awesome, 3 restaurants to choose from plus a 24 hours cafe & sweet to choose. Rooms are clean, safety box, stores, pharmacy and other restaurant outside the resort. Multiple swimming pools and beach front. Activity, shows and lots more to do.

While my family and I enjoyed our time at Sunset Plaza, there is still something left to be desired. This resort gave a sense of a “locals” weekend retreat and not the normal on vacation vibes you expect at an all inclusive. The resort is immaculate and everyone is welcoming and friendly. There are renovations going on and they are building an additional wing, but that wasn’t an Issue for us. There was absolutely nothing to do during the day for activities. We were traveling with friends and we had our kid with us. The kids area was closed the entire time we were there. Most resorts offer daily activities for all to enjoy, but this particular one didn’t. Also, the dining options are very limited. While I can appreciate the “no buffet” approach, the limited dining options made this a disaster for our kids. Like all all inclusive resorts, there’s time throughout the day when the restaurants are closed, but there is always somewhere to grab a quick bite. This was not the case for Sunset. Sadly, this resulted in us having to venture out and find local dining options, which turned out to be fantastic choices! :) Overall, we enjoyed the experience at Sunset, but we would not return when we revisit Puerto Vallarta.

We have traveled to many all inclusive resorts. This resort while on the smaller side was very intimate. The staff was exceptional…Victor, Cesar, Gabriel and Jorge just to name a few. They treated us like royalty! The food was delicious as well and everyone was so inviting and helpful. We also enjoyed an hour long massage overlooking the beach that was so relaxing and well worth every cent! You will not be disappointed, the rooms were really nice and we were extremely happy with every aspect of our anniversary trip! Thank you again for a great first trip experience to beautiful Puerto Vallarta…we will definitely return!

Decent food, elevators kept having issues so there were long wait times. The hotel next door is really loud. Most employees were very kind, and a few that were not so great. Property is well maintained except the pools which were gross, the smaller pool wasn’t filtering at all and had so much sunscreen and whatever else floating around. Shade is limited and so is seating around the pools. Good shows and entertainment. Hotel has a lot of potential, hopefully when they are done with construction some things will be improved upon.

My friend and i stayed for a week and it was honestly amazing. Mexico is beautiful but i believe it was the people the make it so beautiful. the workers were literally our family, they treated us with respect, kindness and compliments. This resort is truly amazing and hopefully i come back in december!!
