The room is very clean. The maids did a great job. Check in was smooth. Check out was smooth. it’s a great location and the staff is friendly. The hotel could use some updating but it’s not a dealbreaker. Bed was comfortable the linens were fine. Overall it’s a safe and clean place to stay with a good location.

I loved the place the location is amazing perfect! It was cozy felt safe and staff was very friendly I think the location is great near the border beach and pool is awesome. Room was clean, amenities were great for what you got overall which is great. Just to add I stayed to a closer hotel el emperado and I would of stayed there, but had a horrible experience never staying there from now on I will recommend Hotel Tropicana to any person that wants the best $$$ for what they are paying for.

The charges were expensive. The lounge chairs are very old and falling apart. One very grumpy waiter. They charged me for using towels to clean up a mess I made when I was sick.

it’s a perfect hotel if you want basic amenities in the best location. The serving staff is excellent. The front desk is not too friendly but if you’re nice to them they warm up . if you like big fancy resorts, this would not be the place for you but if you want a great hotel and a perfect location, you would like it.

Durham is very clean. The housekeeping was fantastic. The staff are very, very friendly and definitely make sure you’re taking care of while you’re there. Be Axe and beach service once a phenomenal highly recommend this place.

Hotel Tropicana – Puerto Vallarta ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) I recently stayed at Hotel Tropicana. The location is good, and the staff are friendly, but the experience overall felt dated. My room had an older look, and the safe key didn’t fit, so it couldn’t be used. The shower also filled with water while running. One afternoon I returned to my room around 4:00 pm and housekeeping was only just starting, so I waited about 30 minutes before I could go in. I also needed an iron and had to visit three different places on the property to find one. Both the iron and the safe key had to be signed out on paper, which added to the feeling that the systems could use an update. The stay wasn’t bad, but with the price point in mind, there may be more modern and convenient options in the area.

Room was dated but clean. Small issue with the shower was fixed immediately. Location is excellent- right on the beach and has a pool. There are not enough chairs at the pool and people save them for hours wthout using them. Beach has lots of chairs and more added if needed

Room and Hotel very clean as all public areas were. Ocean view from room balcony was perfect and unobstructed. This Hotel is a great value for the money...pool , bar and restaurant area were well maintained and hotel is close to everything that you need. Employees were most helpful!
