The people where very friendly

Found this place for one night after flight delay it was perfect good price clean safe place great food

It’s a great deal with a much more authentic Mexican feel When I arrived it was late and dark , but the next morning and the the days to follow I felt very safe and secure. So I extended my stay for an additional 3 weeks and I love the community that surrounds it with a much more country feel. Rather than the Malibu, Mexico feel of downtown

Lots of friendly guests.Staffwas overall friendly even though not many spoke English. Front desk staff can be more friendly and cheerful

The pool area was beautiful. The rooms were spotless and the staff was friendly, yet professional. The outdoor shower for the pool and the zacuzzi area needed sweeping/cleaning. The hotel was quiet and convenient. The restaurant food was good, as well as inexpensive. It was a short walk to the beach and to the zoo. I will certainly return to Casa Iguana,

Very roomy ,clean,a.c. Worked good, buffet also good, pool was cleaned every morning , turtle pond was clean, staff friendly, hotel is very family oriented. Nothing negative to say overall. Great value.

Nice hotel very close to the beach. With a good complimentary breakfast

Close (10 minute walk) to beach and zoo. Breakfast pretty good. Stove did not work (and was not repaired after notice given) and no microwave, so it was not possible to cook. Both of us cut our toes on exposed sharp corners of room's interior post bases.

It is a great small budget hotel with some hidden amenities like the close beach and zoo, bus route to town, and local flair. Pools are especially great for families. Friendly atmosphere.

My wife and I enjoyed 5 nights at Casa Iguana Hotel. The grounds were beautifully kept, the rooms were spacious and clean, and we had a very nice breakfast each morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. Most spoke very good English. Its we’ll situated about 2 blocks off the main beach in Mismaloya. Easy walk to the beach as well as a number of nearby restaurants. Looking forward to our next trip!

The hotel is about 20 mins outside of town, but still pretty accessible by bus/taxi. We ended up canceling our rental car. The price also wasn't bad for a last minute booking. Our only issue was how loud the hotel guests were late into the night.

good clean rooms, great food, kind helpful attentive staff

Loved the nature part of it and the surrounding area.

Very nice I wish I would of stayed longer!!! Next time!!!!

this place asked for more money than I had already payed!!! this place is a scam. I ended paying 200more pesos. and the windows did not have a lock at all!!!

There are good things about this hotel, but they were negated by a theft from my room. I suspected housekeeping, but the maid denied involvement (of course). Also, service in the restaurant was not good -- one morning we were ignored by wait staff for 30+ minutes while they attended to a party in another area. We wouldn't have waited, but the breakfast was included in my room package price.

I have to admit when we checked in we were a little worried. We had chosen CI for the kitchenette & real beds for each of the 3 of us. Once we settled in everything was just fine. We went to Mexico to explore, walk, read, relax and get a tan in a safe environment--CI delivered. -Think small older boutique hotel, maybe 30 rooms & appear to be renovating them 1 by 1. -The same caring, friendly people worked every day & took care of us like family. -Our room, though not renovated, was spotlessly clean & had great air conditioning, shower pressure & very comfy beds. A little dark, but we weren't in Mexico to sit inside. -The location is quite far away from DT PV so was blessedly quiet except for the birds--it IS in a jungle!20 minutes and 75 cents by bus to town, 1 minute to the bus stop. -The bar/cafe opens early and closes early evening as well. If you need beer/cocktails late stock up at the the hotel's convenience store or town supermarkets--that's why you have a kitchen! -The pool is small, but plenty of room and lounge options for sun lovers. -Note: no room safe, small deposit boxes are available in the office -If you require an elevator or room service or plan to spend your vacation online or on the phone, this is NOT your hotel. Our stay was very relaxing and I would do it again for the price. Say hi to the hotel mascot cats for us!

Great place to visit the zoo (better than expected-go early), botanical gardens, mismaloya area. Loved the 2 room suite with the kids, gave us privacy compared to hotel rooms. walk to beach ( get the $20 massage). restaurant was good, breakfast especially. Pool was too cold to use. Quiet and peaceful probably because hardly any guests that week. Very clean. Got bitten by bugs a bit, bring spray.
