Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway

Outstanding all the way around. Staff, facilities and service was excellent. The one drawback was the condo-like sales pitch when we first arrived.

First time we went on the European plan vs All inclusive: we saved over $1,000+ because of the way we now travel in Mexico, we had dinner at other restaurants 4 out of the 7 nights we stayed, Eating and drinking in Mexico is terrific and not very expensive....Warning at Villa Premiere if you are not all inclusive You can NOT use the facilities at Buenaventura (next to VP) without an extreme cost. The bars, etc are open until 1:00 as opposed to closing at 11:00 at VP.. The room we received had only a King bed, one sink and a very small balcony, which is open to the balcony next to you with no barrier or privacy, we did ask to upgrade to a Suite but were informed it was not possible due to capacity. Overall the staff is very friendly and service oriented, Food quality and variety is Good, Facilities are well kept and the place is very clean and secure, but for us to not get the type of room we wanted (any type of Suite with a decent and some what private balcony) and not to be able to use the facilities next store was very disappointing.

Food quality requires major improvement. On Super Bowl Sunday I had a cheese burger in the outside restaurant for lunch---and it was the Only food I ate all day,by 5pm I was throwing up this also happened to a friend of ours on 2/2. Monday afternoon when I was able to leave the room I went to visit the restaurant Mgr. and made him aware of the problem and he wanted my name and room number and said "I will look into this and get back to you". He did not get back to me with an answer----so beware of the food!

Loved the small feeling of the hotel. Staff was amazing; friendly and helpful. I knew all their names by the time I left and they all knew mine. The quietness and ease of doing everything was very nice. Food was fantastic. We ate every meal on site except one and loved the choices at breakfast lunch and diner. The chef menu was the best. We felt like we were staying at a Four Seasons.

This is our go to vacation spot. Facilities, food, staff, and management are outstanding. We have been going for almost 20 years and know most of the staff by name. This is a small quite property that caters to you enjoying your time with them.

Poor location - very average room and horrible pool rule that allow people to claim chairs for the day and never use them

Frankly, for $200 per day we expected more. No free filtered water for us tourists who can't drink the Mexican water for fear of protozoan infection, maintenance lapses with a noisy bathroom fan, a tub that didn't want to drain, and a room safe that barely worked and seemed to be from another century. The no children policy was greatly appreciated but the hotel is next door to their sister hotel that does allow children so they are seen and heard when on the beach.

We arrived and were greeted with a glass of champagne and a short massage! Our room had great views and was good size with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. Meals were very good and service was a bit slow but extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Great location for a nice walk to town. Overall a very good experience!

A+++ great hotel, excellent staff, highly recommend. Loved it

A peaceful hotel with great food and service. Loved it

My husband and I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and had a great time! We loved the hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean. We did all inclusive, and the food was AMAZING! We will definitely return to this hotel next time we are in Puerto Vallarta! :D

The villa premiere was great. Love that it's adults only. Food in restaurant left a bit to be desired.

The hotel was great and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent! Only complaint is that sometimes the bars will close with a long lapse time without opening another one on the property.

Yes, this hotel met our expectations. We did not opt for all inclusive and the few drinks that we purchased made us feel like we made the right decision. Other guests did speak positively of the food, however. The staff was almost always helpful. Rooms have nice views and the ac worked in ours. In our experience nearly every place we stay seems to have dim lighting so we were not surprised or too disappointed, but the lighting in our room was among the darkest we have experienced. Room cleaning was fine but pretty late in the evening most days for us. Other than that, pretty good for the price we paid. Pool was nice but chairs unavailable sometimes (we did find the staff to be very accommodating with chairs on the beach, however, at those times and we just jumped in the pool once in a while to cool off). Gym was good and check in and out was effortless for us. 4/5 80 a good solid B is exactly how we would rate our experience.

The Villa Premiere is a first-rate hotel. I was travelling alone abroad for the first time and felt safe and well cared my entire stay. The location is great. The restaurants on site are excellent. The spa is wonderful (especially the pedicures). The only thing they needed to do is to pay more attention to the gym.

the hotel staff is the best ever, they receive you with a glass of chmpagne and a 5 minutes free massage. Rooms clean. Overall best place in Vallarta.

We had the Master Suite 7th floor corner room # 2701. The first night we did not have hot water for our spa tub on the deck or the one in the bathroom. The air conditioner would not go below 79 which was way too hot for the room. We spoke to the front desk about this the next morning and still nothing was done until we complained to the manager of the hotel. We had the all inclusive plan and they tried to charge us $100 US dollars for one of our meals. It was finally taken off our bill. The area around the hotel is not very nice. The Marina area is much cleaner and upscale. The 2 pools at the hotel are smaller than out pool at home. The staff was pleasant, but certainly did not go out of their way to help with anything. Our room was not cleaned until very late each day. The first day I had to call the front desk at 4pm to ask them to clean our room. I think there are way better options if you are going to visit Puerto Vallarta.........please look around at other maybe bigger resorts before book at the Villa Premiere.

I've traveled throughout Mexico for more than 30 years now, and have enjoyed a range of hotel experiences. My choice of staying at this hotel for 10 days was based largely on generous reviews, so expectations were high. Great location: easy walk to shopping, restaurants and the Malecon. Disappointed with the beach: sand erosion is a major problem from the hotel site, south to the Malecon. Small to mid-size rocks are quite common, so be careful where you step. Disappointed with room cleanliness: the camarista replaced towels and toilet paper, for that I'm grateful. However, my room floor was swept only once, and sheet changed only once during this stay, even with enticing tips throughout the stay. Disappointed with room phone access: could not receive incoming calls from my daughter in the states and from local friends in PV. The hotel operator advised my daughter there were problems with the phone, but never referred that issue to hotel staff for further action. I paid $150+ a night, without phone service. On the 8th night of my stay, I addressed the matter with hotel management, and immediately upgraded to a suite with no phone service. The upgrade was not requested, and while the suite was nice the value of hearing my daughter's voice was far greater. Disappointed with poolside manager: On the 4th day of my stay, I left the pool area without signing my daily drink purchases. Clearly, my error. However, the pool manager was not happy with this act of disobedience, and proceeded to verbally chastise me the following day. Subsequent interactions with this gentleman were cold for the remainder of the stay. Perhaps, jail time was more appropriate for me. Overall, my stay was average. Still smarting from the phone issue. Bottom line for me, I fell in love with Mexico, it's people, food, music and natural beauty years ago. Nothing has changed.

This is a return visit to the Villa Premiere this year. We love the staff at this boutique hotel. All are friendly and go beyond to make your stay memorable. Our most favorite thing about the hotel is the food. There are several places to eat on site, and all serve excellent food. Try the all-inclusive plan. It's well worth it.

Nice hotel but I wouldn't give 4 stars, lots of minor repairs needed (tiles in pools needing cleaning, lots of little broken tiles, attention to detail). I would recommend for someone wanting an oceanfront hotel within walking distance of Malecon. A/C broken for one day of stay made it really hard to sleep.

Dear Jimmy & Jackie, Thank you for your comments and your feedback. Our guest had access to Buenaventura Grand Hotel for restaurants and bars and they can charge any consumption to their hotel account. That is a excellent amenity for our guests. Please understand, that they have their own guests and they will reserve the spaces at the pool and beach for them. You reserved in Villa Premiere and you have full access to our pool and beach. Thank you again and we look forward to welcome you back in paradise.
