I liked the Friendly staff . I didnt lime thatvthe pool need some maintenance, my nephew cut himself twice with the tiles .

6 days were waaaaay too long at this place!! We have been to Cancun and Cabo all inclusive hotels and were shocked and the low quality of this hotel. The rooms were gross...outdated...moldy...smelly and tons of bugs. I slept for maybe two hours every night. Pools were so dirty and foggy...and too small to accommodate everyone. They were also too warm and the full of bugs. Food was so bad...we barely wanted to eat there. Nothing tater what it was supposed to taste like. We ate out almost every meal. Drinks sucked too!! My husband was verbally assaulted by another hotel guest that was crazy drunk and the "guest services" guy did absolutely nothing about it. So horrible!! The few good things were....the wonderful and sweet staff...the location and the spa. Summary is... don't come here...it's not worth it! Stay at one of the nicer hotel chains and take a cheap cab ride to town whenever you want to. This is pretty much a resort for locals to stay in... you will feel very uncomfortable coming here. Cockroaches in hallways too!!

The property was beautiful. The biggest issue that I heard from a lot of guest was that not all of the rooms had a balcony. So my biggest recommendation is to have every room a balcony room.

Check in was slow and frustrating. The room (with a balcony) which I thought I'd booked wasn't available. The following day I was moved to a room with a balcony, which I truly appreciated. It would be beneficial for travelers if they could select a balcony (even if a smaller room) when booking on Orbitz. My friends and I have very different dining tastes and it was wonderful to have the variety of dishes at each meal. Everyone in our group consistently found meals they enjoyed. The housekeeping staff, waiters and bar tenders are all exceptional, remembering past preferences. I was served both black tea and a glass of milk each morning for breakfast without asking after the initial meal. The staff really IS that good: They not only recognize guests, but take note of dietary habits and go above and beyond to accommodate every diner at their next meal.. This was my fourth annual stay at this property and I can't imagine a place that's better suited for my needs, despite it's check-in services and not being able to pre-select room amenities. I suppose the ultimate question is "Would you stay there again"... and for this property, despite frustrations during check-in, the answer is "Yes, I would and without hesitation". I don't believe others would be disappointed staying at Buenaventura Grand either. This is place is simply comfortable. I can't describe it in any other way other than "comfortable" and a good vacation.

Check-in was slow and problematic with a few room assignment issues which were eventually resolved.

The property has chsnged ,the rules seem to change every other dsy ! Not happy how thry treated my guest

Food overall was really good. Oscar, Eduardo & Nelson were exceptional bartenders & waiters! Check in was a disaster & more staff are needed at the desk. The pool with built in lounging chairs are rarely used by most people. Lots of beach spots available but beach is a bit rocky. I took the most beautiful sunsets ever!

Loved loved loved our stay here. The staff was excellent and food was pretty good. Had more of a family feel to it but still enjoyed it as a group of Spring Breakers.

Great location.....only negative for me was housekeeping ......one day it was great next day no not

The beach is full of rocks, therefore no one can walk on the beach.
