Nothing really to be excited about it is it OK place to stay for the money not something I would do again, the adult pools are full of kids and nobody care everybody play their own music Other than the bartender brings you a blended drinks fast enough if you tip them well it will be very sad vacation

VERY limited dining for an all inclusive. Dining is also NOT air conditioned. Cafe type food was the same every day. Grounds are beautiful but very cramped. Entertainment is in very cramped and uncomfortable lobby. Rooms were ok. They still use bar soaps instead of gel pumps. Every day the bars were out of basic and popular alcohol. Staff was friendly. Beach was well maintained and I appreciated the signage that staff will remove items from beach chairs that were saved with towels (although I didn't see staff do that at all). No place to sit that's quiet either indoor or outdoor. Main dining area is very uncomfortable - stuffy air, very limited food choices (mostly stews)...but again, staff was nice. Some staff does not understand English.

This was our first time in Mexico. The resort, all common areas, and pools were clean and well taken care of. The resort was everything we expected it to be. They had events every night that everyone could attend. The cons to us personally were related to the weddings on the weekends. Our room overlooked the ocean and the wedding music/partying went well into the morning hours. We also didn’t care for the food or drinks. The food at the sit down restaurants were not the greatest and the drinks seemed watered down or not blended enough. We spent more of our meals off the resort and were able to experience some better local cuisine this way. All in all I’d say it’s a great deal for your money, close to the malecon, and right on the beach, Beds were comfy, food/drink were Ok.

The food except for breakfast was terrible! Our toilet broke 3 times and we also had no water all on the first day. The front desk never answered the phone. The noise from the lobby was very loud in our room. I do have to say that the staff was very nice but we’ll never stay there again

Perfect spot nice and clean on the beach and just a few blocks from the Malecon, The Buffet was amazing they had different food every day of the week and Staff went above and beyond to make it and Amazing experience! 🙌👏👏👏

The wait staff and bartenders were absolutely outstanding! Housekeeping staff as well as everything was exceptionally clean. My room did not have hot, or warm water my entire stay, and no one seemed to care, but I overlooked this because the location and service was so exceptional.

I have good and bad reviews for this property... I will start with the good. The pools and outdoor property are beautiful! Right on the beach and staff is very friendly. They went all out for a "Night on the beach" meal, with amazing food and service. Now for the negative... We paid a lot of extra money for a "Honeymoon" suite because it had a hot tub, but when we got to our room, the hot tub had NO hot water!! The room was also very old and hardly honeymoon material. The balcony overlooked a garbage pickup area and the view of the ocean was obstruct by another building. They "fixed" the hot tub on the fourth day we were there but it took running it for almost an hour for it to warm up at all. We also had to run the shower for 20 min every time for it to warm up. They ended up changing our rooms to a much nicer part of the hotel for the last two nights of our trip. The hot tub had hot water but the jets didn't work. We had quite the run around with the staff about all of these issues and spent too much time out of our vacation to deal with these issues. Overall, I would recommend asking to stay in the newer, much nicer part of the hotel. I would not however stay here again.

Great time at Buenaventura. They have excellent service and great food. It is also near downtown, which is very convenient for other food options like taco carts and other great restaurants. Highly recommended. We try to go every year and have met many people that go there the same time of year as us, so we have become vacation friends with many people there.

Love this resort…we keep coming back because of the excellent location, property, and the staff go above and beyond. Thank you for another fabulous vacation!

They get you to a time share presentation by offering you deals like cheaper Covid test and massages, then lies and tries to take offer away for not buying. We got the honeymoon suite but they don’t show you it’s over the main pool area. The window has to be closed when using the jacuzzi or everyone will see you. Jacuzzi smelt like sulfur for a bit but went away. It never looked like the floors in our room were mopped. No extra wash clothes but did get towels every day. They don’t replace the soaps and shampoo regularly. We never got room service so idk. Corona light in mini fridge with coke/sprite and 2 bottles a of water each day. The pools were nice and the main one got sun starting mid day. Service at the pool was Awesome! Buffet was gross for lunch and dinner, cold and tasted like it was sitting out awhile and Slow service, breakfast was good. Sunset rest. was good. “Mexican rest.” Didn’t serve much Mexican food and was ok; can buy off special menu.Sky Bar was really nice, serves shots and food. Lots of drink options, special marg. In adult pool bar. Hotel held a fiesta with more authentic Mexican food one night on beach. Beach service was good, beach kinda rocky but sandy areas to play. Walking distance to boardwalk on beach or road in front of hotel. Staff all wore masks and most guests. Sprayed disinfectant around main areas regularly so I wasn’t too worried about COVID. hotel could use some work, looks bigger than it is in pics. Staff were nice.

Beautiful property, front staff is a bit cold and unaccommodating.
