this hotel is the worst if you are a tourist , the rooms were not clean the sheets were dingy and very worn out , my sister asked for a blanket they brought her a old wrinkle dingy blanket with a hole in the middle of it. The food was not good no variety the drinks were not great , we slept on towels in order not to sleep in the beds , we were waiting for our representative from Fun Jet so we could change hotels and we did we moved to the Hilton Puerta Vallarta , I would not recommed this hotel for any tourist we were the only tourist there I can see why HORRIBLE.
Glad I took a vacation in these hotel was an amazing experience to be with my family having a good time. The food was good but the drinks were excellent thanx to my favorite bartender David now. Always kept the drinks coming and a very friendly funny person overall.
David is the best bar tender ever! Had a great time being there. He is very nice and knows how to make people laugh! The food is very good too, the beach is so beautiful and it's a good place to have fun and relax!
The whole experience was great. The food and drinks were the best. David, the bartender at Coco Lobby Bar was the best. Such a friendly person. Never kept us waiting long for our drinks. He was my favorite out of all.
David at the bar coco lobby is great! Has us laughing the whole time and jokes were funny this guy made a bad experience drom earlier in town go to a great night i give David 10/10 stars. So if your in Puerto Vallarta stay at the palmas and visit David at the bar coco lobby.
We visited during University City spring break week , I wouldn't recommend it that week .However it's a nice beach front small hotel with terrific staff , nice enough hotel room , pretty good pool ( two of them ) , the restaurant a bit repetitive but you won't go hungry. We were looking for a beach vacation on a budget . We found it here and enjoyed it .
We had an amazing oceanview room 401, corner suite with a huge balcony. Room was clean thanks to the wonderful house keepers. David the lobby bartender was the best. He made us feel very comfortable. Pablo and Edwardo at the main bar were hilarious and super friendly. They remember everyone's name and keep the drinks coming. Yolanda and Inez in the dining area always made sure to serve us a beverage right away and always asked if we needed anything else. Everyone should experience the wonderful meals at the A La Carte restaurant. Front desk staff very helpful no matter what was needed. Overall all the staff at Las Palmas were truly amazing.
We are seriously thinking of booking this resort. I like the reviews and I'm aware it is an older resort. However, if it is clean and the food is good, what more do you want- we love friendly staff and good food. However, I was wondering; if you are sitting along the pool or on the beach do the waiters serve you? Or do you have to get your own drinks? Can someone advise. Thanks.
They offer a 360° Virtual Tour of the resort on the website and you can see exactly what the resort looks like. I think it's beautiful. I like a resort with decor of the area's culture and character yet Clean and secure. I was very pleased with the accommodations. Make SURE you make a reservation to eat in the restaurant for dinner. Then it is almost guaranteed you will have a great meal. I don't think you will be disappointed here
We had an amazing time at Las Palmas. The entire staff was wonderful. David was the best bartender, we sought him out every night we were there. He was very attentive and fun to hang around with! Martin the Bellboy was a delight! Everyone was truly invested in your stay! The rooms were nice and the hotel is right on the beach. The service was excellent from the dining area, to the bartender taking your orders on the beach or at the bar, to the Vallarta Adventure group set up in the lobby, Abdel was the perfect Host, the front desk and security! We felt very safe at the resort. Gerardo was amazing when our daughter got hurt on the rocks. He was by our side before we knew what happened making sure she was alright, which she was! We will absolutely come back!
