Great little boutique hotel right in the heart of old PV. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. The atrium and rooftop pool are highlights.

Easy walk to restaurants, beach, shops etc. Bathroom was a little small.

We stayed four days after a week in a nearby condo. The hotel is clean and the rooftop pool area is quiet and secluded. The location is convenient, but a little noisy at night. We did not specify a balcony room and had to pay $15/night to upgrade, but it was worth it as the interior rooms are dark. I think you can specify when you book so you don't have to pay the upgrade.

Susana has been is my home in Vallarta. for 5? years I am not too happy with the greater number of straight couples (it used to be more 50-50 gay) but everyone is very civilised.

A bit noisy as the employee break room for all the Archos group was directly below our room

The entire staff we dealt with were very helpful w/ special kudos to Carlos at the front desk & Boni the concierge across the street who helped me w/ checking in for my flight home the day before departure - complete w/ printing a confirmation of that process. We would definitely stay at this facility again.

We were quite disappointed with our room. I reserved a king room but when we checked in, they tried to give us two double beds. After some argument, they agreed to move us to a king, which smelled horribly of mildew and had no outside window. The next day we complained and they agreed to move us again to a different room. This one was a bit nicer, but still no outsie window so no fresh air. At least once or twice a day, our keys would stop working. They were very stingy on bottled water, we were constantly having to request more, they would argue, then eventually bring some. The all inclusive hotel would not give out bottled water. The food, however, was decent and plentiful. The restraint staff were fantastic and helpful. We would not recommend this hotel.

The “air conditioning” in our room was completely useless even set to 18C. It was uncomfortably hot and humid in our room. In fact, we would occasionally open the door to let air in from the courtyard as it was much cooler.

Great hotel, half a block from the beach, access to Los Arcos amenities, near restaurants, shopping, bank, Oxxo and so much more. We will definitely be back soon!

Nice and friendly staff. Standard room was smaller and upgraded to suite. Charming smaller hotel.

Perfect location. Small older very clean hotel. Quiet rooftop pool. Easy Uber ride from the airport. Will be back. Staff very friendly.

Third time this year. Going back in October again.

This hotel should be a secret ! Great location. Great staff . Amazing rooftop.

Very clean, nice quaint hotel.... very comfortable and great value

I'll never use Orbitz again... they ruined my reservations promised to correct them and never called back... DON'T USE ORBITZ FOR ANY TYPE OF RESERVATIONS

Part of the family friendly Los Arcos properties and sharing in the amenities, the adults only Casa Dona Susana is a great little hotel. Classically rustic, the rooms are just spacious enough to be comfortable. The rooftop pool is smaller but a great alternative to the beachfront and poolside of the Los Arcos if busy. There is construction next door, but only during the day as the evenings are filled with music from the restaurant on the corner. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and just about anything else that you might want. Thanks to Alma for keeping the room immaculate and Sergio for being extremely attentive both beach and poolside. I highly recommend.

The hotel is located on a quiet side street but just a block from the action. Every way you turn there are shops and places to eat. We wish we wouldn't have done the all inclusive because we only ate at the Los Arcos 3 meals out of 15. There are so many eating options in the area it was hard to choose. The rooftop pool was great. The pool at Los Arcos was always loud even though there were actually only a few kids. The whole area just felt loud and busy. The rooftop pool was quiet and private. Rarely were there more than 6 people up there at a time. Bring a floatie (just one of those simple rectangle ones) because that is the most relaxing way to spend the time in the pool. Yes there was construcrion in the area but it bothered us less than the busyness at Los Acros where all the loungers and chairs were 'reserved' by people who put there towels on them but were barely ever seen using them. Some staff were more friendly than others but overall they did their job. Our room was fairly small but we only slept in it so it was sufficient. We will definitely return and stay at Casa Dona Susana again!

Our third year staying here, and we continue to enjoy it. They did some renovations over the past year including a new elevator, new LED lighting, and new showers in the bathrooms. We enjoy staying here because they have a strict NO KIDS policy. Adults only! Rooftop pool is relaxing, staff is friendly, and the rooms, albeit it a bit small, are comfortable and clean. All of them have refrigerators, and a few have kitchenettes. Overall, great place just stone throw from the beach!

I've stayed at a Los Arcos property every time I've visited Puerto Vallarta and in particular at Casa Doña Susana. This is my third time staying at Casa Doña Susana and I simply love the facility. I would like to thank Elizabeth for helping and making sure my stayed was amazing yet again. She went above and beyond to accommodate my wants and needs on my last stay. If you are looking for a quite place to relax this is the place as it is an 18 and up property you can easily seat by the rooftop pool and relax. This is one of the main reasons why I stay in this property apart from location which is the middle of plenty of restaurants and stores and a block away from the beach. I'm looking forward to booking my next stay in the near future.

What a nice hotel that was not fancy but clean and classy. The staff was wonderful Especially Elizabeth who was just excellent.
