Stayed here one night in the Club King room. Clean and spacious room, great bed, I slept like a baby! We had access to the Lounge and we found it very nice and tempting to stay there longer :). Fortunately we served there the breakfast, which was excellent. They have a nice pool and the fitness center is ok too. Great location, hundred meters from the Parliament.
We took two rooms here recently as part of a wedding group booking. The hotel provided us with room room three hours early which was a real life saver as we had travelled to get here and needed an immediate spot to unload, change . etc. The bellhop on duty was so great in helping us to move all our bags, baby crib, and other bits and pieces into our room and even stayed to see some of it sorted and stored. Our room was very comfortable. The mini-fridge was really handy for storing food as we had an infant who has a hearty appetite and eats often. The WIFI and TV service was very good. We did find the bed a bit soft for our tastes but its hard to supply one that meets everyone's requirements. The guys at the valet parking were always on their toes and had our car out front waiting for us each time. The hotel is very centrally located and closed to major attractions and only 10 minutes walk to the Market area. The primary irritant was inconsistent information from the front desk. We had been told there was a continental breakfast included with our room but when we tried to confirm this were could never get consistent information. Four calls made and the answer kept changing. Rather than risk the possibility of 4 over-priced Continental breakfasts, we just left and grabbed something outside the hotel.
I arrived late (early in the morning) because my plane was late. The front desk staff was very accommodating. The room was very comfortable and the bed and pillows #1. I enjoyed the food available on the Penthouse. The breakfast was basic but good. Very good coffee.I would stay here again. My only complaint is that they donʼt have a hot tub.Thatʼs super important for me, with travel. The housekeeping staff was super nice. In particular a lady named ? Oh gosh, I forget but she had a male sounding name and she sounded like she might have been from Jamaica. Very nice lady.
confy rooms and friendly housekeeping! Terrible breakfast buffet and awful waiters “ Micko” I honestly don’t recommend anyone eating breakfast there and i was very very upset from the attitude i got when i was just asking if they have cheese, he said: “ whatever you see is what you get!!!!!!!, if you want some cheese it’s with extra money!!!!!!! What kind of hospitality is this? And i also talked to the restaurant mgr! She said she is sorry and that’s it! I have went to other Sheraton! This is the worst! I will not recommend to anyone
I visited for a business meeting held on the top floor, in the penthouse. Note: there were stairs to reach the final meeting room, so i'm not sure if it's accessible, but otherwise it was a great space. The check in was seamless, with friendly staff (Jonathan) being very accommodating, and arranging a late checkout for me to accommodate my schedule. I have to note, i often arrange late checkouts, and invariably it is somehow 'ignored' and i have cleaning staff knocking on my door the next morning. In this case I called down to confirm the next morning and it was on record, and I was not disturbed until I checked out. Wonderful. The room was spacious and well appointed. A dedicated panel below the TV made charging devices and hooking up to the TV via HDMI a breeze. The desk was plenty large and well laid out, with light and a comfortable chair. The bed was comfortable and well-pillowed, a lovely sleep. The bathroom was well appointed with shaving mirror, but otherwise was a bit dated. The over sized tank toilet ran all night, but the noise was minimal and easily blocked by closing the bathroom door. The closet was large and featured iron and board, and plenty of drawer space throughout the room. The location was excellent; steps from shopping, restaurants, and public transportation. A shoppers across the street closes early, but is easy to get to for sundries. A cab stand is steps from the door making transportation to the airport simple. All in all the staff were great, and the room was very good. I would recommend for business travelers, or anyone else with business downtown.
Good service and well trained personnel !!! I arrived over midnight and really care about me. I love the beds and pillows, uff amazing. Location is also a good point to mention walking distances to good restaurants and shopping centers
This was my first stay here, and I found the rooms quite large - a nice surprise. My room also had good pillows, nice sheets, and a comfortable bed. The biggest drawback was noise. Although not frequent, the street noise was loud when I could here it. The interior walls also seemed quite thin as I heard my neighbour's phone conversation easily. Fortunately they were pretty quiet for my two night stay. For the price I paid, I would likely try another hotel.
We stayed here for only one night, close to family weekend. It is usually fully booked, but we were able to get a room. Rooms are adequate, king bed, lounge chair and desk. The bathrooms had a sink, toilet and shower/tub combo. Not huge, but had all you needed. I would recommend bringing your own hair dryer if you have long or thick hair. Water pressure was good. We are platinum members, so we had access to the club lounge. It had many options for appetizers at night, including smoked meat and buns, cheeses, fruits and crackers. We heard some people were having their dinner there. We ordered 2 glasses of wine at extra charge. The man working there was so friendly and a hard worker. We went for breakfast the next morning and he was working again. They had quiches, cheeses, cereals, oatmeal, fruits, etc. Quite a good selection and again friendly service.
I consider this hotel my home away from home but it’s been impossible to get a room lately. I have been staying at Sheraton in Gatineau but was lucky to get a room in feb. elevators are all replaced, lobby completed with beautiful updates. I was unable to get a upgrade room with my status but access to platinum lounge makes up for it. Then renovated room decors are very pleasant and make for a better stay as the colours are lighter and better furniture for working. Staff in lounge, checkin and valet are always ready to help. Look forward to coming back
