Oakes Motel moved us to Hilton Motel across the street. AC didn't work properly, the Tv remote didn't work properly. The Hilton room was way too small( size of a walkin closet). Check in took about 45 mins. Was not a good experience at all.

The property notified me they were unable to accommodate my reservation 3 days before my stay. They did upgrade me to a better hotel, but with a subpar view. I booked this hotel for the view, so I was not happy with the change. I visited this hotel to speak to the manager and although the location and view were excellent, the property was in terrible condition. Very outdated and didn't even look nice in the lobby. The manager informed me they have maintenance problems quite frequently. I would never book with this hotel again.

When I went to check in I was informed that my reservation was transferred to another hotel. They said they tried calling but had “technical difficulties.” I did have a missed call from a local number but no message. When they tried my number during the check in time there did not seem to be an issue. I had a good stay at the other hotel but looking at reviews this hotel has been transferring reservations for weeks. I’m not sure why they continue to accept reservations they cannot accommodate.

1st night we were put in a room that should of been taken out of service. Pet smell, dirty, dusty, shower flooded , doors wouldn’t close , couch was soiled and stained. Complained. Moved to a different room. Was outstanding. Can’t understand why we were put in that first room. Ruined weekend. Made the best of it. Never going back.
