Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Toronto

3.5 out of 5.0

I usually stay at the Marriott Eaton centre which is about 200$ per night more....wanted to check out the difference of a location 5 blocks away.... no restaurant to speak of...my concern is the room. Comfort of bed was good...pillows good...ceiling all bubbled from leaking....and a/c unit sounded like a cement mixer....very annoying!

Hotel is located in downtown area surrounded by shopping, foods, colleges and movie cinema-plex. The choices of food from other countries was limitless and always one or two blocks away.

Everyone was very friendly and professional! I've never experienced this kind of service other than in Canada, but specially here.

Overall great experience. Location was right near all the places we went, check in was easy and quick, gym was convenient and descent. It was annoying to have to walk to the main entrance every time we walked in since every other exit does not allow entry but that is likely a security thing. Overall good experience and would stay again. clean, quaint and convenient.

The only "good" thing about this place is the location (downtown). It looks old and because of the season it was VERY expensive. Wouldn't book it if I knew!

We got a room facing the front of Younge Street where it was noise at night, specially since it was Friday evening, the next day we asked if we could move to another room and they changed us it was perfect, very clean.

The hotel and staff are really nice and hard-working. We booked the room with breakfast included. The breakfast menu has a lot of choices, even Starbucks coffee is included, i love that. The staff who served breakfast were very nice and hard-working, they did everything they can to make guests happy, i really appreciate that.

After reading the reviews about the rooms being very outdated I was pleasantly surprised how nice the huge room was. Renovations at street level underway so look forward to a return trip. Never found the cheaper parking mentioned in some posts {shrug}

We had a great time during our stay in Toronto. The hotel was visually appealing and while the room was comfortable, it could have been a bit more updated (bathroom specifically). But really not bad for the money.

Hotel was great with recommending places to eat. Had the pool to ourselves the entire time.

Umm the hotel lobby looks amazing but the room decor is dated. was no lotion any my or my friends room. A basic hotel in a good location at a decent price.

Great location! Ok for the price! Bathroom too small and tight! No safe and ref in room! Old hotel room! Needs to renovate!can recommend for the location but not for comforts!

The hotel was really wonderful. I was able to check in real quick and easy. The rooms were very comfy and the staff were very helpful. The location was great and really close to a lot of the big stores.

Solid for the price...not best business location. Most of the key contacts were located downtown.

Very good location and only one block to the subway, where you can go anywhere (Downtown, crosstown, etc.) Staff friendly- arrived very early AM and received our room around 2pm- and was a great corner room so thank you to the staff. In-house Starbucks light eating facility. Rates were reasonable due to package with airfare from New York. A very nice place to sleep, we were out and about and walked everywhere. You can buy attraction tickets which helped-small discounts and advice on what to do. I would stay at the hotel again- those looking for more features should stay at an upscale hotel- this is moderate and clean.

There for carnival Didn't like how they had no sink in the bathroom

Clean rooms, good location, but very busy. the management or cleaning staff supplied us with a needed small fridge, without us even asking for it. I'm assuming they figured it out from seeng me filling our food cooler with ice. Thank you.

The hotel meet our needs nicely. It is a nice place, the staff was friendly and helpful for all our requests. They can exchange USD to CAD at a far better rate then at the airport. (The airport exchange is a ripoff). We used the exercise room and pool several times. It is near mass transit for easy traveling around the city. It was a nice stay.

The hotel was very convenient to get to all the main attractions in Toronto. Would definitely recommend.

Right in downtown close to everything! Only down side is parking that cost 35 dollars.
