Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Toronto

all very good except towel rack fell of wall; only negative was the location

Always a good choice for a weekend getaway. No a fan of the breakfast at the Bistro, however.

This is my favorite place to stay when visiting Toronto. It is convenient to dining, shopping and public transit. The hotel staff does a great job of making sure every guest feels welcome and is responsive to any issues or requests. I highly recommend staying at The Courtyard by Marriott, downtown Toronto.

the room was huge, clean and nice. i booked the room about 5 month ago which was very cheap at that moment, but the price went up really high as time pass by. be sure to book as early as possible.

Everything was perfect. All my needs where meet.I was In walking distance to the mall and any store I needed. My overall experience was amazing including my view from my balcony! I definitely recommend this hotel.

Biggest problems was cable went out on night one, staff did not think to tell guest as they were checking in or walking about. The AC unit in the room was terrible. Day one was part of the heatwave that was recently throughout the area, AC unit would not go below 24 Celsius even though thermostat was adjusted appropriately, it took 4 days for it to reach desired temperature, by then there was a cold front in the area. It was horribly loud sounded like a jack hammer most of the time, on the final day it kicked on every 5 minutes like clockwork even though thermostat was at an equal temperature. There was a lot of noise coming from both inside and outside the hotel at night which made it hard to get a good nice sleep. The good things were the hotel was clean and convenient to where I needed to go and near transportation.

The hotel is in a convenient location and very walkable to the Univeryof Toronto and the Eaton Centre. The best part of the hotel is the restaurant: The Bistro. An excellent overall experience. The food is great, The sunrise starter for breakfast is fantastic as is the Bistro Burger and the NY Steak. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

worst Marriott related hotel I have ever encountered; room had a nauseating odor; room quality was of the Hotel 6 variety; checked out within 30 min of checking in

Elevators were not all running. Hotel staff were using the running elevators resulting in very long waits to get to and from your room.

I usually stay at the Marriott Eaton centre which is about 200$ per night more....wanted to check out the difference of a location 5 blocks away.... no restaurant to speak of...my concern is the room. Comfort of bed was good...pillows good...ceiling all bubbled from leaking....and a/c unit sounded like a cement mixer....very annoying!

Hotel is located in downtown area surrounded by shopping, foods, colleges and movie cinema-plex. The choices of food from other countries was limitless and always one or two blocks away.

Everyone was very friendly and professional! I've never experienced this kind of service other than in Canada, but specially here.

Overall great experience. Location was right near all the places we went, check in was easy and quick, gym was convenient and descent. It was annoying to have to walk to the main entrance every time we walked in since every other exit does not allow entry but that is likely a security thing. Overall good experience and would stay again. clean, quaint and convenient.

The only "good" thing about this place is the location (downtown). It looks old and because of the season it was VERY expensive. Wouldn't book it if I knew!

We got a room facing the front of Younge Street where it was noise at night, specially since it was Friday evening, the next day we asked if we could move to another room and they changed us it was perfect, very clean.

The hotel and staff are really nice and hard-working. We booked the room with breakfast included. The breakfast menu has a lot of choices, even Starbucks coffee is included, i love that. The staff who served breakfast were very nice and hard-working, they did everything they can to make guests happy, i really appreciate that.

After reading the reviews about the rooms being very outdated I was pleasantly surprised how nice the huge room was. Renovations at street level underway so look forward to a return trip. Never found the cheaper parking mentioned in some posts {shrug}

We had a great time during our stay in Toronto. The hotel was visually appealing and while the room was comfortable, it could have been a bit more updated (bathroom specifically). But really not bad for the money.

Hotel was great with recommending places to eat. Had the pool to ourselves the entire time.

Umm the hotel lobby looks amazing but the room decor is dated. was no lotion any my or my friends room. A basic hotel in a good location at a decent price.
