Great location and a classic hotel experience (80 year old hotel). Enjoyed the indoor pool even though water was a bit cool (maybe for Americans). Everything that we wanted to see was in close proximity - government builds, mall, canal, restaurants on Elgin street.
Overall, great valued hotel with central location close to the city center and shopping/food but hiccup on no wifi/tv the whole night!
The bed was bad.. almost broken.. my boyfriend and I woke up with a bad back. They have AC but it didn't seem it could push much cold. The next morning we wanted to check out around noon but they were badly organized and a lot of people came to check out all at once.. a better methodology would've been to have 2 lanes of check out around noon.. it's not normal to wait 30 minutes for checking out of a hotel.
Poor internet service
in view of the Canadian restrictions, it is comprehensible that there were limitations, the hotel is well located, near an ice rink! shopping, the canal.
The location of the property was ideal for my business plans in the city. However I would say this is not a 4 star hotel. It says that it was recently renovated but I would still give it 2.5/3 star in terms of the overall looks aesthetics and decor. You do have the option to self park but its a distance away from the property. Valet is a must for an additional cost to you.
The toilet wasn’t cleaned very well in our room. The bottom of the toilet seat cover had traces of old urine.
