Absolutely incredible stay at The Lord Elgin hotel. Hotel couldn’t be more central. Right from check in, all if the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a beautiful room overlooking the city. The room was spotless and very nicely decorated with everything we needed including a really comfortable bed. Wanted to say a very special thank you to Immaculata who was working at the front desk. Very friendly and kind with excellent customer service skills. She went above and beyond to make sure our special occasion weekend was a memorable one. Also special shout out thank you's to Claire, Gus, Bana and Nancy! Thank you and we will definitely be back again!

Room was dusty and both sheets on my bed had holes in. They had a party on the 2nd floor which had raging dance music so loud we could hear it over the television in our bedroom three floors above, it was allowed to go on very late. I do not think I will return to the hotel as standards seemed to have slipped a lot.

Only issue was how often my room number was saud outloud in the lobby where ofher guests and potentially non guests could overhear. Having checked in a single woman this made my safety feel compromised. Otherwise the stay was excellent

The room was fine and the location is hard to beat. It was my first time back at the Lord Elgin in about ten years and while I appreciate that it's being renovated, I think I would have appreciated some heads-up on that. There was a lot of construction and things in the way and the fire alarms were tested at least twice while I was there, including once for fifteen minutes while I was in a meeting. Just a heads up would have been nice.

The room was great, unfortunately the coffee maker didn’t work. Wanted to watch the big NFL game in my room and the TV shut off on it own every 20’or so minutes. Very frustrating.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful at the Lord Elgin in downtown Ottawa. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, very clean. Bar has excellent cocktails. But the best part for me is the valley parking. You have to pay extra for it, but it’s well worth every penny especially during the winter months. Looking forward to going back.
