Front desk staff was very rude and unprofessional
Overall it was pretty Good experience. I would recommend a bit of updating.
A bit worn and torn, but it is the only game in this area of Toronto.. Facilities met expectations, nice indoor pool, good work out room, promised a Garden view, I guess the parking lot is considered "garden view". staff was great with the exception of the first receptionist I dealt with, came in during a big snow storm, he was curt and acted like he did not care one way or another, told me I could park anywhere ( 12" of snow in the front parking lot) failed to mention they had hotel guest inside underground parking, so I took my stuff out of the car in snow and when I got to the room the first thing I find out is about the underground parking, went to the lobby and asked to make sure, and the second front staff person, apologized for the other guy and told me how to get to the underground parking and how it worked to get in and out ( the good guy had glasses) The hotel was only 1.5K from our friends we were visiting and I found the hotel a good value and a great location for us...
Breakfast was very good. Water at exterior pool was cold. Inside pool was outstanding. Need more people for cleaning and having rooms earlier.
We didn't really like anything about the property. It was dirty everywhere we went (except our room), Room service was a joke if they got your order right and you didn't have to go pick it up it was good. Westjet changed our flight so we got to hotel at 2 instead of 3 and they refused to let us check in. Sat in dirty lobby for the 1 hour. Requested a mini fridge as I was having surgery the next day and needed to have a fridge. Went to our room (king with a ravine view) no fridge - called Front Desk Fridge is a $20.00 upgrade per night moved us to a different room with 2 double beds view of roof. Pot filled the hallways, partyers all night long on Friday night barely slept at all. Highly do NOT reccommend
