Quiet location, clean rooms, property is old but well maintained

The first room they gave us had bugs on the counter. The Dresser was all broke up we have photos we told them about it the first night the next morning We made them move us to a new room. Non of the help spoke English the second room was not that clean, House keeping came to mop the room with dirty bucket of water. Talked to a lot of people there with the same complainants. I don't think we would every go back.

Love the place because I use to have timeshares there but the outside and inside needs updating. Had to request for hand towels, body towels and bedding for bed couch.

It goes from year to year more Down. So many things are broken. And the kitchen stuff is not enough to cook with. The condo needs more than make up that place needs a big reno.

Our room never had cleaned towels, we had to wash our own towels and the dryer hardly worked we had to run it at least 2 or 3 times to get the clothes dried. There were bugs around the kitchen and bathroom sinks, housekeeping only made the beds and we paid for housekeeping, the TV's didnt work, the outside lights did not work either. The bedding was only mAde but the linens and blankets were never changed.

This used to be a good property have stayed about 10 times in 15 years. They need to hire contractors to do the wood work painting even hanging the blinds . Yes they are spending money to renovate but they are getting a half ass job done . Overall it’s time for my family to find a new resort.

I've never seen a roach before in my life until my stay here. They're not normal bugs they're gigantic. The entire property is from the 80s maybe 70s and needs major upgrading. It's a shame because it would be really nice if the owners invested into it. The larger pool and splash pad was shut down and encircled with yellow tape. The open pool was murky, leaves that guests were cleaning themselves, no lights at night. I had two suites. The rooms smell musty and damp. We saw a roach crawl from under the fridge. The washer dryer combo was missing buttons so it didn't work at all in one room. In the other room it didn't dry the two pieces of clothing after cycling twice and was also missing buttons. The carpet is stained and old. The beds were hard. There are no comforters just the itchy kind of blankets with another sheet over them. There were stray cats everywhere which I guess I don't mind that much but they left footprints all over my car. The breakfast was ok but the staff were rude. There was smoke coming from a toaster and we had to go find an attendant in the break room and she had an attitude about it. Mind you, when we got there it was already smoking and the room was getting smokey too. The tiki bar was cool and had cheap drinks. Overall I would never stay here again. I liked that it was like a little apartment but I wasn't comfortable cooking or storing food there. Save your money go somewhere else.

very outdated property needs some major updates I don't think we are coming there again

The setting was inviting. The rooms were spacious.

This is our 4th time visiting Oak Plantation. The staff is warm and friendly. The property is welll kept . This is a perfect spot for Disney vacations , only minutes away and yet far enough away to keep from the crowds. We would recommmand Oak Plantation to anyone going to the Disney area.

The room was dirty, bare spots in the carpet, our key didn't work. The beds were old and sunken in. The ac needs work, you are either freezing or you have it turned off. It was overall a bad experience.

The first day we had no wash cloths. It took two days but we did get them. We ran out of toilet paper, requested more first thing in the morning but still had done the next day when we left

I have mixed feelings about this hotel, the staff was friendlyl but not effective. The kitchen light wouldn't turn on, the washing machine flooded the laundry room, and the water heater was leaking, when I told the front desk about these issues, they said they would send someone to fix it, but no one came. I had to dry the laundry room floor and the carpet stayed wet due to the water heater leaking. The hotel was cozy and inexpensive for my family of 7 but it had many issues with its amenities. I wouldn't recommend it.

Good room was organized and well cleaned. You don't get it cleaned but they take you cllean towels.
