Beautiful location, staff are friendly. Love dolphins lagoon room, will come back

Every time I come back I feel so relaxed being there!

This hotel is beautiful. It feels like it’s from a different era, almost, but modernized and responsibly outfitted. Every possible amenity is offered and the staff is unbelievably kind and helpful. The on-site restaurants are delicious, prompt, creative, and staffed with lovely people. The beach is stunning and away from some of the chaos of other places. The views are breathtaking and I will absolutely go back again.

Didn't like all the dogs everywhere

The property was beautiful. The staff at every level was top notch.

The grand old lady is showing her age and under attack by neighbors demanding beach space. Some of the exclusivity and luxury has gone missing probably due to COVID-19 and the ensuing decline in American lifestyle quality overall. It’s sad.

The beach is wonderful and the ocean view is spectacular. I like it that it's a private beach and not too many people sharing it. The pool is rather small and it was filled with children so I didn't use it that much. My room has the mountain view and facing the golf course and that was nice as well. Very quiet with broad view without much distraction.

Loved the location and property. Needs some updating as paint, carpeting, etc. have aged. Would definitely return to this resort.

Beautiful resort right on a gorgeous stretch of beach. Employees were friendly and attentive. Upgraded room was worth it! And having Dolphin Quest right there on site meant even if you didn’t actually book that activity (we did…it was awesome), you got to see the dolphins every day. Several great restaurants right there on the property; three miles from downtown Honolulu so it felt private but was an easy Uber or shuttle ride into the city for shopping, site-seeing, etc. Can’t wait to go back!

I have no negative words to say about this property.. This was probably the best hotel/resort stay that I've ever had. The service was excellent and the property was amazing!

Excellent resort located in a beautiful, unspoiled area of Oahu! From the accommodations to the superior staff to the gorgeous view, the Kahala offers a picture-perfect Hawaiian vacation just 10 minutes from Waikiki.

The property was well maintained! The support check in phone service with the external agency was terrible! Called 12 times in a row with my phone and call the 13th time with a different phone and finally got through. Then answered my questions, I then called 4 times and NO ANSWER at all each time!!!!

I always love the location of the resort. Away from busy Waikiki and next to the golf club. I booked an ocean view and the first night I thought I could smell cigarette smoke and wheat in our room, The third night was really awful that the smoke was coming from the adjoining door-It was too strong that it went all the way to the hallway I have to call concierge and they sent security. Staff sent us fruits for that incident and offered to change our rooms. Overall, we loved the seafood buffet at Plumeria and the beach. The furniture foam covers needs some change, you can see old stains.

reckless loud kids under no control, staff did nothing. there should be an adult hour at the pool, even tho there isa kiddie pool, the kids use th big pool. honestly, there are so many things under utilized - i could give you a list... its a shame.

Aloha, Morgan! Well ... our hotel was built in 1965, so we kinda are from a different era. Many guests refer to us as classic elegance or casual luxury. We are fine with either definition. We simply hope to be a restful and rejuvenating stay for each guest. Mahalo for sharing!
