I had some high hopes for this place.. holiday in is usually very well maintained. Upon arriving we got in earlier than check in and wanted to hang out in the pool and hot tub area. We'll surprise surprise... the pool was cold and the jacuzzi was colder.. the jets would but literally not hot water. When asked if they could turn it on theu said it has been broken for week. When asked why we are being charged an amenity fee for amenities that dont work? We literally came here because they had a pool and hot tube and breakfast and were close to the beach. We'll we weren't that close to a swimable beach and the breakfast was the same egg patties and sausage everyday. We asked for bath towels and never received them. Literally no aloha magic here.

Really central to Waikiki. Shopping and food is close by. The hotel has a helpful staff to help with tickets for events and sightseeing as well as transportation.

It is ever well maintained and clean. If you are staying for three days or less, upgrade your room. The elevators on the regularly priced rooms are a different bank and slower. Upgraded rooms generally will be using the elevators to the upper floors and are express. Parking is first served so evening arrivals may need to park on the street. There is street parking a few blocks away. The breakfast is good and there are lots of staff to help if needed. A good variety of food. There is a game room and mini golf and two small pools. All are well maintained.

The entry door handle/lock needs to be fixed or replaced. The card worked fine but the lever did not engage the door to be released. The breakfast did not even come close to meeting the Holiday Inn standards. The offerings were paired down and very limited. One of the biggest reasons we chose to stay with you was the expected breakfast. Cinnamon rolls were absent again (happened the last time we stayed). I asked the staff and was told “I’m sorry, we don’t have them today.” Totally disappointed. The previous stay had us take the elevator to the floor above the room, then walk down the stairs to the floor below. The loud elevator kept us awake all night, not to mention the loud doors slamming, and other guests talking both through the walls and outside their doors. Horrible room location. My suggestions would be to avoid sliding doors for the bathroom (privacy in a small room - you can do better), never put a glass door to a bathroom (lights totally flooded the dark room at night), keep pedestrians from cutting through the lobby (I’m sure it was documented of the cussing out of a security person, along with the terrible language, that occurred in the lobby while we checked in, and correct the actions of the breakfast management. Chris at check in started our stay off pleasant and Gladys at checkout was just as pleasant and efficient. It sets the stage for our 3 night stay. Breakfast was good. This hotel is an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and the beach.

The rooms were very tiny, not much space to even move around. The water in the shower ran mostly cold, not much hot water. The breakfast was insanely crowded, free for all type of buffet. Most the food was cold or at best room temp. There is not enough parking for the amount of guests that stay, so it’s a Russian roulette of who gets the spots first, at $50 a night! After that they tell you to just go park on the street but nothing is close or ever available. Someone threw up near the 3rd floor elevator in the parking lot and it sat there for the whole week we stayed. The concierge DANIEL, scammed us on a luau. We paid $800 for a luau, that was supposed to be on the beach and family friendly. It was neither of those things, could not even see the beach or the sunset, it was on the third floor of the Marriott, which had scaffolding covering any sort of view. The show was slow, and boring but great performances. The beds in the hotel were soft, only up side to this stay. Spend the extra money, stay somewhere else. This was not our ideal vacation or stay, Waikiki has really changed.

Very tiny room, bad AC position facing the bed and blowing the air to the body directly. Bad noise insulation from outside street and indoor corridor. Crowed breakfast room without enough seating. Not enough parking space without ideal alternative parking. The worst holiday inn ever stayed in my life. Staff is friendly though.

It’s my husband and I Anniversary so we were visiting from New York. We spent 4days here and we’ll definitely be back and we definitely recommend staying here. The WHOLE staff is amazing it don’t matter the department, the same lady clean our room everyday and she was the best. Overall awesome Hotel and the most PERFECT staff.
